The bunk room has been created as a nod to the hotel's creation as a safe place for sailors. You'll find the same thing in this space with 18' ceilings- cozy, strong, and comfortable triple bunk beds. All reserved guests must have a valid i.d and living address being 50+ miles from the downtown location.
  • Everyone at The Society Hotel is incredibly kind and accommodating. I had a fantastic experience staying with them, and would absolutely do so again.

  • Much better than I expected. Great location in Portland and very clean. The rooftop was also amazing.

  • Great place!

    Hailey2019-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect place to stay inside Portland!

    Carter2019-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot stress enough how cool this place is. My second time staying here, I took one of the bunk beds. Their spaces are always clean, the guests are so respectful. Plus their rooftop, food and drinks are extra. Thanks to the staff as well, they are very kind

    Jacqueline2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • As far as hostels go, this place was one of the cleanest I've been to. The best part is hands down the rooftop deck, where I made friends each night I was there, even as a solo traveler! To be honest the area the hotel is in is a little scary, but it's not the hotel's fault. I think this place is best to stay with friends, BUT if you fly solo just be aware of your surroundings when you're outside of the hotel; inside is very chill.

    Heather2019-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Very good budget lodging in downtown Portland. I stayed in the shared bunk room and the bed itself felt surprisingly private thanks to the curtains/layout/etc. Also the lockers are very large, and the staff are all very friendly. Great for short visits; would stay again.

    Andrew2019-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend staying here.

Our Snug rooms are compact but cleverly designed, built for travellers who value getting out and exploring over staying in. All Snug rooms offer a queen-size bed and a walk-in shower. They’ve got hangers to hang your most precious looks, but storage space is kept to a minimum otherwise. Your room charge includes taxes and will be paid prior to your arrival. A refundable security deposit of $50 per night will also be collected.
We’re right in the thick of historic Old Town Chinatown, an area that has an incredible past and exciting future. From where we are, you can easily hop on a bus to take a hike around Forest Park or jump on the MAX to get to Washington Park for killer views of the city. In Portland, nature is nurture, it’s all here on your doorstep.

Originally a hotel for sailors, we provide rooms with everything you need and nothing you don't. Beautiful light, close to everything!
  • Make sure you are aware there is not a private bathroom in room they are shared. Check out the roof top & truly embrace Portland.

    Marissa2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • The hotel is polished and is quality for what it offers, but calling it's "minimalist" would be a charitable description of the rooms. The rooms are pretty small, and for the price, you get: - A queen bed, with a small ledge above it - A small wall-mounted sink - A bunch of hanging hooks on the wall - A small cubby - Three outlets And that's IT. Not a chair, a table, nightstand, or anything else except a couple of towels. Bathrooms are also unattached, only accessible through a common hallway, and shared with three other rooms. All in all, for the same price I'd rather stay in somebody's spare bedroom.

    Ian2019-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Friendly staff and comfortable stay.

    Kevin2019-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and cool vibe

    Anna2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • This hotel was sparkling clean and perfect for one or two people. I was worried about the shared bathrooms but they were spotless and it seemed like they cleaned them multiple times a day. The coffee was great too. The rooftop was pretty. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the neighborhood, but the hotel itself was awesome.

    Haley2019-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very cool, very unique hotel. The look and feel are fantastic. Just a heads up, I did not catch it’s a shared bathrooms hotel. Now it’s ok, because the bathrooms are immaculate and never busy. Very cool experience, and not too far of a walk to downtown restaurants and bars

    Tristan2019-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay downtown. Lots to do in walking distance. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff was great

  • Charlie est vraiment très sympathique et nous a tout de suite mises à l'aise dès notre arrivée. Le logement est grand, bien équipé et bien placé. A recommander.

    Jézabel2016-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Location. Location. Location. This spot is right in Chinatown near Voodoo Doughnuts, great food, a few awesome bars and the Lan Su Chinese Garden. It was also great to know that Charlie and Ali were right downstairs if we needed anything.

    Whitney2016-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • This spot was in a great location! Charlie and Ally were very accommodating and gave us some recommendations on where to go around the city. Only potential negatives to take note of: no wifi in the apartment; it connects to Charlie's Deli but loses connection often. The bed is a little hard and short. Nothing to ruin a stay though! We didn't get a chance to eat at Charlie's Deli but we did go to their late night window and the sandwiches were great! We enjoyed our stay!

    Abigail2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Charlie's place was great. He was excellent at communicating with us when a snow storm caused a change in plans. The location of this place is excellent. You can smell the sugar from Voodoo doughnuts every time you head out the door, delicious. We didn't get to try his sandwiches but will have to on our next visit. The space is a good size.

    Rachel2016-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location for younger travelers who want to see the best of Portland. One block from Voodoo Doughnuts, five blocks from Powells, and surrounded by dozens of great restaurants, bars, and shops. Ten minute walk from Union Station, and close to the tram line. Not recommended for families.

    Sean2017-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Charlie's place is conveniently located in Portland. Charlie is really easy to work with and the sandwiches in his deli downstairs are wonderful. I have been staying here every couple of months when I go to Portland and consider Charlie's place my home in Portland. The bed is comfy and the kitchen is simple yet fully functional.

    Neal2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • This room is in a great location in old town. Everything is walkable and we were able to park in a close parking garage for fairly cheap($16 a night). Charlie texted us with simple instructions on how to get in and was super friendly. The building is old and reminiscent of a hostel or dorm days, but our room was clean and the outside noise wasn't bad for a Friday night. The homeless are fairly thick, but we never had any issues. Everyone is pretty friendly in this town. If you want to see the old waterfront and enjoy walking from your home base, this is your spot.

  • Austin and Raze were fantastic to work with and very hospitable. I had a very VERY late flight and they were willing to work with me to make sure I made it in safely. I can’t wait to come back to Portland because I will DEFINITELY be staying here!

    Lauren2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home surrounded by plenty of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. We had no trouble finding street parking while we were there, but there are also plenty of lots nearby to park in as well.

    Jackie2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Austin and Raze have a cute place, and were great hosts. The only negative was it was a bit noisy in the room with the windows open in the summer weather (trains and the highway across the river) but I managed to get enough sleep despite mild jet lag, and it otherwise a lovely place to stay

    Craig2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Provides a convenient and hospitable stay for anyone needing a place to crash while exploring Portland

    Zach2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great, I was in town for a conference, so I left early in the morning and returned later in the evening. With the windows closed the bedroom was very quiet and they have fans for airflow and a lot of white noise which I love. The bed was cozy, couldn't ask for anything more. There are a lot of homeless in the area, but there are private patrol people that walk day and evening. I ask if it was safe to walk around at night and they said yes, that there are just a lot of homeless.

This one-of-a-kind property sits in the heart of downtown Portland. Built in 1888, this small piece of Portland history has miraculously survived waves of urban development without losing its 19th century charm. Enjoy a private upstairs apartment.
Architecturally, the home boasts original features that make this style of 19th century Victorians such beautiful and intriguing properties. The steep roofs, high ceilings, intricate exterior paint details, and hard wood floors offer a first-hand glimpse at the handmade quality and timeless craftsmanship of the late 1800’s.
Situated directly across from the Portland Library, two blocks away from Pioneer Square and only minutes away from Portland State University, it is truly situated in the heart of the city. It is surounded by fine dining opportunities at Jakes, Jakes Grill, Southpark, Ringside Fishhouse, and the Heathman.
  • Perfect location, very charming home and we had everything we needed. Thanks!

    Ben2014-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • The room is in a beautiful Victorian that is otherwise law offices. This felt a bit strange at first since I was alone in an otherwise empty building. However, the location was fantastic. Also, the room and bathroom were quite comfy and met all my needs. This was my first time using Air BnB and I would totally do it again. Thanks to Patti for a great welcome to the service!

    Allison2015-04-26T00:00:00Z

  • Location, Location, Location! The instructions to access the condo were spot on and we had no need to contact them during our stay. No need for a car. We used TriMet to & from the airport. So many cool things to see and do are within walking distance. The home is in the heart of it all but yet quaint, quiet and a real gem. Just an awesome experience. 10+

    Jill2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful Victorian restoration in a great downtown location. Everything we needed was steps from the front door. There was plenty of room for the two of us to spread out comfortably.

    Cory2015-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • We were so impressed with the Rose City Restoration, Patti has thought of everything! A few of our highlights were: . The Location: it was so perfect! We parked our car at the parkade on the corner and left it there for the duration of our stay. Portland is such a walkable city and being so central allowed us to take advantage of that . The pillows: Patti provided pillows of varying firmness (tempurpedic foam & regular) for our sleeping preference . The breakfast nook: where my husband and I enjoyed our tea & Voo Doo Doughnuts in the morning . The Privacy: We loved having our own space & being free to come & go as we pleased . The bathroom: was very spacious & came equipped with toiletries & an amazing towel warmer As other reviewers have mentioned, we did hear a bit of sound from the MAX and nearby bar, as it was the weekend, but I am a very light sleeper and with the help of the Sound Machine Patti provided I had no trouble! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return to the Rose City Restoration in the future!

    Alana2014-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place to stay. Comfy bed, good instructions, good location. It was a little noisy at night so consider ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

    Timothy2018-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Rose City Restoration is a beautiful Victorian house nestled right in downtown Portland, across from the Central library. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was delighted to arrive with Debussy playing on an antique radio - really completed the atmosphere! The bathroom is very spacious, and the kitchenette (minifridge, microwave, water cooler, coffee maker, small table, and desk) at the end of the second floor hallway was a nice convenience. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a bar with patio right behind the house, so occasionally there was some noise from people but never unreasonable for being downtown. The key code access for the door is very convenient and made checking in and out really easy. Patti and Jerry were very friendly, and Patti was very responsive with making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. It's a great space!

  • Great view! Central location. Comfortable furnishings. The shower could have used a handhold bar and a place to put shampoo, etc., while showering; there was no Kleenex available. There were no table lamps (except for a small table lamp in the entry way), only overhead lighting, so reading in bed at night or in the living room area was only lit by the overheads. Not terribly inviting or intimate. If you don't want to park in the area provided in the building, it is easy to park in the parking garage across the street.

  • This home made us wish we stayed more nights. The location was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable. The view was amazing. The entire place was clean. I chose this spot because it seemed better than other comparable options. I was more than happy with my decision. I would definitely stay here if we were to visit Portland again.

  • Beautiful apartment. Was great for our small family.

    Dave2019-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment was located in a great area of Downtown Portland. Most restaurants and activities were within walking distance. The building was beautiful and safe and the apartment was impeccably clean with an incredible view of the city! I'd highly recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to Portland.

  • Beautiful place and view, great location to walk around with awesome Mexican food just a couple minutes walk away. Wished there was a days worth of coffee for our first night and the remote/tv didn’t really work but overall a great stay at a nice place.

  • Location wonderful, very nice building. I am a “minimalist” but you need to have certain pieces of furniture/rugs to make it comfortable. If staying just a few days and living out of a suitcase, it would be excellent, but staying a week, we would have appreciated a place to put clothes that are not hung - ended up putting them on window sills. This would take a $25 hanging shelf from Target. This is a corporate apartment without any personal touches or extra amenities whatsoever, but a very comfortable bed, couch and chair. For very little more, it would be a terrific place. I would have liked to give it 4-1/2 stars but that was not available.

    Jane2019-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • The place was really nice! I would definitely stay again.

    Michael2019-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • The only reason I’m giving this Airbnb 3 stars is because the bed is horrendously uncomfortable. My shoulder has hurt since the first night I slept there. The blinds are pretty insufficient as well. Don’t plan on sleeping in if you’re staying here. Otherwise it was an excellent location with an extremely easy check in/out system.

    Steven2019-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • The only time you called or checked on your guest or answered anything was when there was a miscommunication she called me about the check in arrangements to see if she could get money then told me to rebook then said she couldn’t help me after she got 650$ extra dollars from me I’m just disgusted with the corporate thievery bulllshit

  • Finally, Air bnb done right. Highly recommend the place we stayed and the StayAlfred service. For the executive digital nomad, this is the ideal place to stay. Everything was thought of, the position was incredible, the views were stunning, and the apartment was just as it was in the photo. Had to call StayAlfred assistance a couple of times, once even after midnight, and they were incredibly responsive and helpful, especially Kyler, one of the client assistants that helped me twice. Excellent value for the price.

  • Bob and Karen's place is so beautiful and well taken care of. The location is perfect to walk to so many parts of the central city. The deck is a great place to view the actions of the city and the river. You also hear the trains with the pros and cons of that. We enjoyed it.

    Judith2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place is truly a treasure in Portland. It is just a short walk or Uber ride to downtown Portland. Definitely will be staying here whenever we come back.

    Chelsea2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely beautiful property in an absolutely beautiful area. Very modern interior with a riverfront view. Even a little beach and boat dock. Very spacious for a condo. The layout makes it feel even larger. Lots of decorations and historic photos of Portland on the walls makes this feel like a home, not a vacant rental. If you're looking to stay in a somewhat upscale unit that's extremely comfortable and only about 5 blocks from the heart of downtown, this is your spot. Comes with reserved on-site parking practically at the front door. For downtown, that's amazing. Something to note is that it's right next to the Broadway Bridge, so passing trains are very loud. Didn't bother me, but if you need 100% peace and quiet, it might bug you. The hosts are fabulous. Couldn't have been an easier or more pleasant experience. A real gem.

    Allan2019-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Bob and Karen's place is outstanding. Super comfortable and an excellent location. Plus the view of the river great. Definitely a tremendous value for all that you get. Check in and out was super easy and communication was quick and helpful.

Welcome to the home base for your car-free Portland weekend. 30 minutes from the airport. 10 minutes from the Amtrak station and the inter-city Bolt Bus to/from Seattle. Walk to most of Portland's attractions. Stop back by during your day for pit stops, showers, naps, or to drop off your sales-tax-free purchases. Enjoy easy access to all of Portland via user-friendly public transportation - choose from any MAX light rail line, streetcar line, and 20 bus lines. No frills, all the basics covered.
Inside a small modern 450sf / 42m2 1-bedroom apartment, your room is 10 x 12 feet / 3 x 3.3 meters with a high ceiling and a double/full bed. There is space on the bedroom floor for your suitcases, shelves for personal items, and a bathroom sink top for your toilet articles. Upon request, get a bar and hangers for your clothes. If you're looking for luxury and total privacy, this is not the place. It's about having a clean, safe, comfortable, affordable and conveniently-located place to sleep and shower.
Portland's Old Town Chinatown neighborhood is a vibrant business district with lots of entertainment venues, restaurants, strip clubs and nightlife. Weekends can be noisy outside your bedroom window with revelers, sirens and train horn - ear plugs provided. The neighborhood is a central location for social services, so many homeless people hang out and sleep on the streets. They won't harm you if you don't harm them. If this makes you feel uncomfortable, you may want to book another place.
  • Katherine was a great hostess, very thoughtful and accommodating to our situation and needs. We had missed our flight and arrived super late and she was very welcoming and helpful. Her place was just what we needed and the location was excellent! We were able to easily take the train back to the airport, walk to/from the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, and also walk around enjoying the waterfront street fair and downtown scene. We definitely recommend her place!

    Marister2017-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • As many others have pointed out, the description was very accurate. You are using Katherine's bedroom so she will occasionally need to come to grab some things like clothes and shoes. She did notify us when she entered and never came in when we were in the room. The bed was able to accommodate both of us (my husband is 6-foot) and was pretty comfortable. The room also had its own heater and control. The bathroom was made for easy accessibility and had a really low shower head but we had no difficulty with it. The pressure and temperature were great. The location was definitely the best highlight. We were in Portland for a convention and we were only 1-2 blocks away from the TriMet which in turn was only one stop away from the convention centre. I also was able to walk everywhere easily. The area was Old Town Chinatown so there were homeless people around but I never felt unsafe. At night, you can hear a lot of noise but we were used to it back home. Katherine provided brand new earplugs in case we had difficulty sleeping. Katherine was an awesome host. She always wanted to make sure our stay was the best and was receptive to any suggestions. When we were there, the wifi was a bit spotty but we told her this and I wouldn't be surprised if this was resolved quickly. This place is definitely a great recommendation if you just need a quick place to stay that's nearby everything.

    Susannah2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • The price and location were right! As it was my first time visiting Portland I really appreciated that Katherine had a bunch of maps and guide books readily available and took the time to explain how the street grid works. She was also very flexible with a late check-out for a night flight out.

    Laura2018-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Katherine's place was awesome. She is a very accommodating host, and an extremely pleasant person. It's a nice convenient place located close to many great things in the downtown area.

    Brandon2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for a place to settle down and shower after your day in Portland, this is the place! There's easy access to all the public transit and if you're running low on ideas, you can walk over to the Lan Su garden, just like 2 minutes away. --- General: Katherine came down to greet me, in which she gave me a guided walk through of how to enter and exit the unit with the keys provided. She took me to places within her complex to show where I can drop off my keys when she wasn't home, the laundry room, the roof. I got a handful of suggestions from her as well as access to plenty of resources. The first thing you need to be aware of is that when you exit or enter the unit you need to LOCK it after entering or leaving. Otherwise the place is unlocked. --- Bedroom: You have lots of room for you and your luggage. The shelf has space to put your belongings and includes plenty of pamplets for touristy things. There's even earplugs in the drawer if the outside environment might be a bit noisy for you. --- Bathroom: There's lots of toiletries which I figure you are allowed to use, but I did bring my own stuff anyway. The other thing to note is the bathtub seems to be elevated inside, so be mindful when you are getting out of the tub because the floor is farther than you're used to! That's why you see a WATCH YOUR STEP plaque there. :3 --- I would definitely consider Katherine's place the next time I plan to visit Portland!

    Gerard2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • The host canceled this reservation 33 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

    Alexandra2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • I was so happy to stay her house! She is friendly and lovely :) Also the place is quite cozy so I was comfortable when I stayed there. Highly recommend this place for single traveler, this place is on chinatown in downtown so you can go any places you want easily! At the last night I even thoght I want to stay more here! ;)

    윤빈2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Katherine was a very kind host. While the apartment is definitely small, it is accurate to the listing. I was in town for a workshop so really just needed a place to sleep. It was perfect for that! If you're in need of a crash pad, you can't beat the price. One other note: the noise from the street was pretty loud at night. Living in an urban environment, this didn't bother me too much, but it is something to note for others.

  • I love this apartment and enjoyed every moment of my stay! It is the perfect size, outfitted with everything you could possibly need and in a perfect location to walk everywhere in the Pearl. Sparkling clean and the decor is lovely. I was so comfortable here. The host is amazing and although we did not meet I know she would have responded immediately if anything went wrong. But, nothing went wrong. :) It was a perfect stay and I can't wait to come back. Thank you Jane for even having sharp scissors in the kitchen which came in handy several times. And the Red Diamond wine you left for me was deliciously perfect! Thank you for everything! You are the best.

  • Honestly, of all the places I’ve stayed around Portland this one quickly became my favorite. Bright and clean, perfectly located, quiet yet right in the heart of Pearl. Restaurants and grocery shopping literally just out the door. Yoga, gyms, public transportation, even a post office all within a few minutes walk. The place itself is well appointed with a decent work space, couch to sprawl on, and excellent bed. Good Wi-Fi and cable. All appliances top notch. Well worth a stay.

  • My wife stayed here three nights on our trip to Portland, and I couldn't recommend this place more. The location was great, the apartment itself was very comfortable and posh feeling, and Jane was so responsive and helpful.

  • My husband and I stayed at Pearl on the Park for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment is immaculate and very nicely decorated. My husband and I enjoy walking so the location was perfect and we walked to many restaurants and sites from the apartment. Access to public transportation is close by and it was easy to get to the airport using public transport. Jane was very prompt in replying to our questions and concerns prior to, and during, our visit. We had a great time and would not hesitate to stay at this apartment again!

  • My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at Pearl on the Park. The apartment is very comfortable and accessible to many places by foot / public transportation. Jane is also a very responsive host, she gets back to emails very quickly. Would like to stay again on our next visit to Portland.

Towels are thick and absorbent, place was sparkling clean, everything you could possibly need is provided and the bottle of wine left to greet me on arrival was so yummy I am looking to get my own case of it. Check in and out, daily access is simple and I always felt safe. Location is amazing and I loved walking everywhere I needed to go. Hosts are responsive and very kind. I could live here permanently. :) Thank you for sharing this treasure, indeed a precious pearl, with me.

  • This is a gorgeous space with a breathtaking view. The price is comparable to a lot of the hotels in the area but you get a full kitchen and many other amenities. The location is incredibly central: a minute walk away from the MAX and close enough to Pioneer Square to enjoy the food trucks. If you are doing anything in downtown, this place is pretty perfect.

  • It was great! I definitely recommend it! Across from a car park if you’ve got a car and a very nice and new building right in the middle of downtown so you can walk everywhere!

  • Well kept, clean condo in the heart of Portland! Beautiful place with nice view is hard to beat for 1 or 2 visiting Portman’s. In the heart the city’s shopping district with many restaurants, the location simply cannot be beat!

  • I was traveling for work and this place was perfect. Conveniently located. All the amenities of staying in a hotel (plus a kitchen!) for a significant amount less. Also self check in, which I always prefer. Would stay again for a similar trip.

  • Roomy, modern, quiet, and very clean with a comfortable bed. It was nice having a washer and dryer right in the unit. The air conditioning was great. We had everything we needed. Checkin and checkout was very easy. The location was awesome, and on a clear day I think I could barely see Mount Hood in the distance. I highly recommend this place!

  • The stay was great and efficient. Great place for someone who needs to be downtown as it's walking distance to everything. The apartment is very new with every amenity you could need.

  • The Stay Alfred property went above and beyond and this is truly a steal. The location is right in the heart of downtown Portland and you can walk to just about everything. The property was kept cleaner than many hotels and they left a nice list of recommendations for local things to do on the table. They give extra towels and linens and the space is quite nice with floor to ceiling windows. We enjoyed the cable TV as an added plus and definitely would recommend. Look forward to staying again next time we're in town.

    Javier2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is beautiful, functional & very well located. The view and the light of the unit were 2 of the things that I liked most. The check in and check out processes were easy and without any inconveniences. The Stay Alfred app worked great. General staff & concierge were very helpful! It was a pleasant experience my stay @Stay Alfred. Highly recommended!

11th floor east facing unobstructed view of downtown portland, on a clear day can see Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams out the window. Spacious 800sqft apartment located in the heart of the pearl district. Secure building with concierge, locked bike storage room and community room with BBQ. Everything downtown portland has to offer within walking distance and 1 block to the portland streetcar. 30 day minimum lease due to building restrictions
  • Jeremy was a great host! He was always very quick at responding to my queries, no matter how silly they were. Living at the apartment was a great experience, thanks to the concierge present. They were of great help too. Not only did they help me with getting familiar with the building, but also helped me know about the locality too. Had a great time looking out of the window every evening. Jeremy's place is aptly located, you just have to get out of the building, and voila! The streetcar station and the bus stops are right there. The benefit of being loacted at Pearl district was that there was things to do, places to eat and places to drink everywhere.

  • I had an amazing stay at this place. It's very accessible by public transit. The concierges were very helpful. Jeremy is a great host. He responded my queries promptly when though he was in Singapore. About the place, Loaded with amenities, everything that you can expect from a great host. I just loved the amazing views on the 11th floor. Especially the sunrise across Mount Hood. All in all it was a great experience. Pro tip: If you're a visitor then make use of Trimet service. • Wonderful apartment to stay in Portland! The location was incredible (literally right in the middle of downtown and also one of the nicest parts in our opinion) and we both agreed that the apartment contributed greatly to the great time we had in Portland and our feeling right at home there! It was great to have all the amenities of a hob, fridge and freezer etc and the flat is the perfect size for two and in a lovely building and has gorgeous floor to ceiling windows all the way through! Probably worth noting that the blinds are pretty thin so your room is never really dark and gets light pretty early but being motivated to get up early is never a bad thing :)

    Victoria2019-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • My experience was great. Booked about week before New Years and was surprised at the affordable price for last minute booking. Communication with the host was quick and straightforward. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Location was great. Getting the keys was a little tricky, but the host did write in detail each step to locate and retrieve the keys. Only thing that was a little disappointing was that parking was not offered, but the price for a one night stay in downtown Portland made up for it. I would recommend this home to others!

  • Despite a little hiccups with the gym access here, this was a GREAT location, smack dab in a very central location downtown. I really didn't have to stray too far from a several block radius, as there's everything you need close by. What I also liked, is that Airbnb isn't illegal in Portland supposedly, which makes typical tensions in the air non-existent, unlike a majority of other Airbnb's I stay in. For example, whatever hiccups I did have accessig the gym, or any other issues, it seemed perfectly fine to get help from building staff. Typically, if you have communication issues or delays from the host (although minor, there was a slight delay), building employees picked up the slack just fine to address my issues. The space was clean also, which I really appreciated, and again, proximity can't be beat to local restaurants and the Alder street vendors just a block away; superb location! Book with confidence!
