One guest bedroom available in a modern and updated condo in North Central Austin (North Loop). Queen bed with tempurpedic mattress! Parking is easy if you have a car with you. Please note: There is a nice, young male that lives in the other bedroom and he has his own private bathroom. He works most of the time and we have agreed to Airbnb this room instead of renting it out full time. Just know he will be around in evenings and a little on the weekends, but he's sweet, kind and to himself.
Modern, clean, minimalistic
Just 5 miles North of downtown Austin. Great, central location!
  • Great value for Austin! Friendly host and delivers a great value and destination that is perfect for a night out getaway

  • Lauren is super friendly & welcoming. She responds immediately with any questions you may have. Definitely recommend staying with her

    Connie2018-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • The place was very clean and the bed was comfy. I could tell that Lauren was the kind of host that wouldn’t say much if you didn’t want her to, but I like to talk and she was very open to that too. Overall 10/10

    Lexi2018-03-28T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended place if you need somewhere not too far from downtown Austin.

    Joseph2018-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren is an easygoing, communicative, and accommodating host. House is larger than I expected and the bed is extra comfy. There isn't any traffic noise despite its proximity to highways.

    Gary2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren was an outstanding host. Her place was very nice with a good location to all of the Austin attractions. I highly recommend.

If crowds are not your thing, consider North Austin, where quiet neighborhoods hide surprisingly strong shopping and good eats. For those in need of retail therapy, you’ll have your pick of high-end retailers at the Domain and a selection of vintage boutiques. Not in the mood to splurge? The area also boasts a thriving secondhand clothing and vintage market, particularly at the North Loop and Burnet Road, where hip new eateries are blossoming. Mexican, and BBQ, of course, but also seafood, pizza, Thai, burgers… the list goes on! Foodies — you may want to consider extending your trip ;) North Austin is 15-20 minutes to downtown and convenient to many employers--a longer stay for work might make the most sense here. Best to have a car to hop on any of Austin’s major freeways, explore the corners of the city with more local flavor, and return for some peace and quiet.
  • Had an amazing stay! Austin is a beautiful place and I will definitely be staying with WanderJaunt again!

    Kelsey2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Wander Jaunt has been the best place I’ve stayed in in Austin! The location was perfect and very close to downtown. The amenities were never ending. The pool was amazing, the gym was very nice and the cleanliness of the bnb was outstanding. The hosts made it very easy to communicate with them and I will gladly book this place for my next visit to Austin!

    Raygynn2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place is incredible! We really loved it. Absolutely one of the most well put together stylish places to stay in Austin for small Tuesday.

    Robert2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, nice pool, good location, close to downtown Austin. Totally recommend

    Laura2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The place was really clean. We have high standards for cleanliness and it was impeccable. It looks exactly like the photos! It is in an apartment complex, so I was expecting a fair bit of noise, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was very quiet. There was a little bit of a walk from the parking garage to the unit. Bring a swim suit for the awesome pool! (We forgot and missed out on this part of the experience.) The host is super responsive--I won't hesitate to stay with them again and to recommend them to friends and family.

My home is a clean, cozy and comfortable older home in a quiet and safe neighborhood in central Austin. And my job is to make sure you have everything you need and you feel at home while you’re here. I’m less than 3 mi. from UT, 5 mi. from the capitol, downtown and 6th St. and 8 mi. from Zilker Park/ACL. I’m in close proximity to Austin’s most popular attractions, events and venues. There are 4 and 5 star restaurants, nightlife, shopping and CapMetro bus stops within walking distance.
You’ll enjoy a freshly painted quaint bedroom with lots of natural light in a peaceful and quiet setting. The double bed has hand-made steel head and foot boards and a well protected and very comfortable latex mattress. The bedding is new and of nice quality, as are the pillows and towels. Extra pillows and blankets are available upon request. The room is well lit, with a ceiling fan, air purifier, antique rocking chair, four-drawer dresser, closet equipped with hangers, Bluetooth speaker, rack for suitcase storage and tower fan. A blow dryer and makeup mirror are provided for your convenience. And for your safety, the room is equipped with a fire extinguisher, crank style flashlight and emergency kit. There’s an office right next door to the room that you’re free to use. You can set up your laptop and catch up on work or send an email home. The printer is available for small jobs upon request. If you feel like cooking and eating-in, the kitchen is always available and is fully equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, pots and pans, flatware, utensils, plates and bowls, glasses, spices, oils and condiments. There are two convenient grocery stores less than two miles from the house [H-E-B in Mueller Market District (1801 E 51st St.) and H-E-B in Hancock Center (1000 E 41st St.)]. Please help yourself to bottled water, tea, and coffee any time. The eclectic living area is well lit and equipped with a comfortable leather sofa, where you can relax and read a book, listen to music or enjoy a cup of coffee. A covered swing that folds out into a bed, lawn chairs and glass tables sit in the front yard surrounded by succulents and cacti . I think you’ll find the swing a very relaxing way to wind down at the end of your day. If you’d like to do a load of laundry, please let me know and I’ll show you how to use the machines. Laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tooth paste and shaving cream are provided for your convenience.
My house is in the North Loop neighborhood, less than 5 miles from downtown yet very quiet and safe. I’m in close proximity (10 miles or less) to most Austin attractions and events including ACL, SXSW, Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool, Deep Eddy Pool, Lake Austin, Ladybird Lake, Auditorium Shores at Town Lake, the Texas State Capitol and Capitol Complex, Bullock Texas Stare History Museum, Blanton Museum of Art, Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, Frank Erwin Special Events Center, The Long Center for the Performing Arts, Palmer Events Center, Livestrong Marathons and 5K, Capital 10K Marathon, Eeyore's Birthday Party, the Circuit of the Americas/Formula One shuttle, UT Campus, ACC Highland, “The Drag”, 6th St., Rainey St. Historic District, the Warehouse District, eclectic North Loop neighborhood restaurants and shopping, beautiful Mueller Lake Park, Texas Farmers Market at Mueller, many Austin breweries and a multitude of excellent restaurants. Austin–Bergstrom International Airport is only 14 miles away. The North Loop neighborhood, sometimes referred to as Northfield or NoLo, is a quiet, safe neighborhood located in the north central part of town. Most North Loop homes were built in the 1940s and 1950s. The majority of them are two bedroom, one bath homes that are around 1,000 square feet. Many have been renovated and are in like-new condition. Years ago, the neighborhood was largely residential with local retail shops. Today, cafes, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants capitalize on the walkability of the neighborhood and the demand for local dining and live music options. The hub of the neighborhood is the North Loop strip, a row of locally owned and independent restaurants and retail shops along 53 1/2 St-North Loop Boulevard, many of whose owners live in the neighborhood. Devoid of big box stores and chain restaurants, the vibrant North Loop neighborhood is a leader in keeping Austin weird. Famed for its selection of independent and unique shops, you can find an expansive collection of vintage clothing, funky furniture, books, and records. Below are a few highlights of things to see and do on the North Loop strip. Room Service Vintage 107 E. North Loop Blvd. Stocked floor to ceiling with vintage and eclectic knick-knacks, furniture and apparel, Room Service Vintage will make you feel like you fell down the rabbit hole and landed in the prop room for Mad Men. Consistently named one of the best vintage stores in Austin, this store prides itself on one of a kind items and low prices. Make sure to check out their monthly specials. Big Bertha’s Paradise 112 North Loop Blvd. This vintage paradise is a carefully curated selection of some of the finest jewelry and apparel from the 1920’s and beyond. Glamorous items including headdresses, costume jewelry, and fur coats are sold next to unique everyday vintage clothing. Blue Velvet Vintage 217 W. North Loop Blvd. Pay homage to the good old days with quality tees from Blue Velvet Vintage. A downright essential haunt for vintage obsessives, Blue Velvet will have you skipping down memory lane and walking away with primo finds. Timeless attire shares shelf space with kitschy vintage finds. You’ll find a rare, ever-changing and diverse inventory that is sure to satisfy all kinds. Acclaimed for their selection of mid-century vintage party dresses, wedding gowns, and accessories, Blue Velvet Vintage is the place to go if you want to shine at a vintage-themed party or event. Ermine Vintage 106 E. North Loop Blvd. Need fantastic vintage cowboy boots? Look no further than Ermine Vintage. The cutesy vintage boutique offers one of the largest selections of men and women's vintage and refurbished vintage apparel in all of Austin. Revival Vintage 100 North Loop Blvd. For such a small shop, Revival Vintage make every single section count. Plus, every second Sunday of the month, Revival hosts a boozy pop-up shop from 10am-3pm and extends the invitation to other vintage vendors ready to peddle their historic stock and handmade craft. Oh, and an even sweeter fun fact about RV? Their rad inventory is available for purchase online. Outsiders (and lazy locals) can obtain far out fittings and vintage home decor straight from their Etsy storefront. No Texas traffic required. Offering a grand selection of unique vintage housewares, furniture and apparel, Revival Vintage has everything you might need to retrofit your space. Breakaway Records 211 W. North Loop Blvd. This all-vinyl record store is paradise for any music lover. Stocked with a wide selection of 45’s, new and used records, turntables and apparel, Breakaway has something for everyone - from the newbie record lover to vinyl vultures searching for rare items. Apparition Skateshop 119 E. North Loop Blvd. This famed skate shop is not only a full-service shop providing apparel, boards and more, but Apparition also serves as a community hangout for local skaters, musicians, and artists. Check out their community events featuring their in-house skate team shredding local parks alongside revered street artists. MonkeyWrench Books 110 E. North Loop Blvd. Feminists, radicals, and socialists welcome! This community-run radical bookstore and social space feature educational materials as well as meeting spaces for screenings, performances and local assemblies, all in the name of pushing the envelope. Forbidden Fruit 108 E. North Loop Blvd. Keeping Austin Kinky since 1981, Forbidden Fruit is the independent sex shop to stock up on toys, lotions, fetish gear, costumes and more. Truly adventurous couples can check out their workshops as well. *****Workhorse Bar***** 100 E. North Loop Blvd. #B Deemed the “neighborhood bar of North Loop,” Workhorse can best be described as an upscale dive bar. A jukebox, cheap cocktails, and a chill patio create a relaxed environment, while locally-sourced cheese plates, ****delicious burgers**** and an extensive local beer list keep it classy. Drink. Well. 207 E. 53rd St. Implicative of their name, Drink.Well. does cocktails well, really well. Their innovative cocktail list is inspired by local ingredients and seasonal favorites, guaranteeing a fresh experience for even the most frequent visitor. Pair the drinks with upscale twists on gastropub foods including pickled eggs, cheese plates, and burgers. Epoch Coffeehouse 221 W. North Loop Blvd. This 24-hour coffee shop is guaranteed to have something going on, regardless of the hour. Crammed with people studying, hanging out, or playing board games, the cozy coffee shop features an extensive list of coffees, teas, smoothies, and juices as well as a food menu sourced from local shops including East Side Pies, Green Cart sandwiches and empanadas from Mmmpanadas. Tigress Pub 100 W. North Loop Blvd. This one-room pub may be small, but it will leave a big impression. The close quarters in Tigress create a nice space for conversation over a cocktail list of pre-prohibition classics, new cocktails, and local beer taps. Home Slice North Loop 501 E. 53rd St. Home Slice's long-promised North Loop location was worth the wait, Y'all, so worth it. Buffalo Wings Sicilian pizza. These fluffy, cloud-like mounds of pizza are exceptionally delicious. In fact, you may very well have a hard time eating any other style of pizza after trying them. Foreign & Domestic 306 E. 53rd St. Inspired by Austin's culinary community, Foreign & Domestic serves up innovative seasonal dishes created with local produce. Enjoy their delectable dinner dishes, coffee and pastries every morning and a fantastic brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Phara's Mediterranean Cafe 111 E. North Loop Blvd. The beautifully decorated Phara’s Mediterranean Cafe will make guests feel they have stepped onto a magic carpet ride. Intimate lighting, plush fabrics, and low tables create an inviting atmosphere as guests snack on Mediterranean treats and enjoy belly dancers. The Vegan Nom 120 E. North Loop Blvd. Breakfast tacos are an Austin staple, and the Vegan Nom serves up their signature, vegan-style breakfast tacos all day long. • Linda was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and felt at home. Her place was very comfy and we enjoyed the location in a quiet part of town, but still easy enough to get to the exciting parts of town.

    Andres2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • SUPER NICE! Drove me to the airport and Whataburger. Lots of knowledge on the town and places to go to as well.

  • Linda is absolutely a great host. very kind and she cares about her guests. Bed is comfy, space is sparkling clean, and the location is great in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Kingsterr (the dog) we are buddies now! he is also very friendly and chill. Over all everything about this place is 5 star!!

    Mehrshad2019-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Linda is a great host, very thoughtful and friendly. The bed is comfy and the place is a relatively short walk to a bus line that goes directly into downtown which is a bonus. King the dog is a real sweetie. Linda has some great local tips too. I’d stay again.

  • Great place to stay with a great location

    Joe2019-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of my BEST experiences with AirBnb! I'm extremely grateful with the hospitality Linda had ever provided! Linda is a MODEL HOST who offered incredible help, kind suggestions and fun company beyond imagination! I couldn't ask for better honestly! So a big THANK YOU to Linda and I'll choose this place again without any hesitation next time I visit Austin! Plus, her dog KING is adorable and also super fun to be around!

The home was built in early 2014, bedrooms are upstairs and living/dining is downstairs. The home is walking distance to North Loop bars and restaurants. I share the home with a Pembroke Welsh Corgi so would prefer guests who like dogs.
  • Bob was a great host! Communication was easy and smooth. If you're looking for a nice place in a good neighborhood to relax this is the place for you(:! And he has a cute dog to keep you company. Definitely would stay here again when I'm in town.

    Harel2016-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Bob’s place was perfect for us to stay after a long day! He was out of town, but he made sure we knew where everything was and left instructions for us prior to us getting there. The room was just as described and it was clean, modern and very nice! Thanks Bob!

    Margaret2018-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Bob is a great host. For being a last minute booking, his place is awesome. Great communication as well. Circuit (pet doggy) is so friendly. His guest room is fit up to 2 people (1 queen bed). Public bus stop is right in front of his home (convenience but a bit loud in the morning)...not Bob's fault. Overall, I will definitely recommend his place to my friends & family for future stay. Thanks again Bob!

    June2019-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • Bob and Circuit were great hosts. The house is quiet, comfortable and minimal in style. Lots of privacy and close to the hip North Loop stores and Epoch Coffee shop, which is 24 hour!

    Shanna2017-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was perfect! Bob was super accommodating and quick to reply to all my questions prior to our stay. It was everything we were looking for and needed to make our trip great! Also- Bob's dog is amazing! We loved playing with her!

    Stephanie2016-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first Airbnb experience and Bob met all my expectations. My boyfriend and I got to the listing later than expected and he was very understanding about it. We were greeted by Bob and Circuit, a very friendly corgi! Bob wasn't around much but he was always a text away whenever we had questions with anything. The only complaint I had is the room was not super clean. Circuit sheds and a lot of her hair was on the bed and everywhere on the floor. (Be sure to bring a lint roller!) However, I would definitely return to this listing whenever I'm back in Austin!

    Tammy2015-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Bob is a great host, and his dog Circuit is wonderful. The house is located in a nice neighborhood that is just a short drive from downtown Austin. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Austin.

    Tyrel2019-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a good stay at Bob’s newer home. Bob is very nice, and quick to respond. The bed frame though is a bit noisy. If you are sensitive sleeper, you might want to consider another place.

Location, location, location! Master BD with private shower by the highway with easy access everywhere in Austin. Almost brand new, newly refurbished property! 10 Minutes away from most places like downtown, University of Texas, etc.
  • My stay with Camelia was super! I stayed with her as I settled in to Austin after moving from Canada for work. I spent nearly 3 weeks with Camelia! She was a fantastic host which made the transition with the move much easier. Her condo is located very close to the major bus routes for campus and essential shops like the HEB. She is also within walking distance to the Capital Plaza. The best thing about my stay though was getting to know Camelia! She was a generous host and always made sure I was feeling welcomed. I would highly recommend her place.

  • I was Camelia's first guest and I really enjoyed my stay. Camelia is very friendly and helpful. Her home is quite clean and quiet. Please do not be taken aback by the exterior of the community, the units are actually very modern. The room in which I stayed was very spacious with an en suite and a large closet space. Camelia is currently in school so she is busy studying most of the time, but is always available to assist or for interesting conversations. If you are driving, there are plenty of parking spaces available. Be certain to get the parking permit from Camelia. All said, you're in store for great hospitality and a quiet and pleasant stay.

  • The apartment was just like the photos described. The complex is not in the most scenic location however it is only a 10 minute straight shot to downtown. The host was very generous and we had absolutely no problem whatsoever during our stay.

  • We were lucky to be Lisa's first guests with Airbnb. She has a beautiful house with full kitchen facilities and a living area that looks out onto the spacious backyard. The house is very clean and nicely furnished and not that far from central Austin. She maintained good communication with us before and during our stay. She also added lots of nice touches like cookies and granola. This is really a great deal.

Join me in my comfy house. I'll entertain you with stories of old Austin or leave you be. I'll take you to the grocery store or lend you a map and a bus schedule. (I'm only a block from the bus stop!) Come feel at home in my home.
Come stay with me. The house is a 750 sqft bungalow w/ shared bath, hardwood floors, and a wonderful carporch for sitting and visiting. The kitchen is fully equipped and you’re welcome to cook up a storm. This is a private room in a comfy house with a new Queen Size bed. The Skyview neighborhood is just 1/4 mile from North Loop, 3 miles from UT and 5 miles north of downtown—and close to public transportation. We're on the Capital Metro #7 bus line which whisks you through the University of Texas and downtown in a snap. The #7 also connects with the #20 from the airport. It takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get here by bus and only costs $1.25! I travel some myself but I'll always try to be home to help you settle in and get acclimated. And I'm always available via phone or text to give advice and recommendations. But the very best part of this house isn't in the house at all. You are sure to be cleaner and more serene once you've been here as little as an hour. Come enjoy my outdoor shower. As the pecan and sycamore trees look on you can scrub down in 100 square feet of funky luxury. It's especially nice when there's a full moon! (NOTE: There is an indoor shower as well-but it's not as much fun.) This rental also comes with as much or as little advice about cool stuff to do and see in Austin as you'd like. I've lived in Austin for 42 years so I know some local haunts. And if you're nice, I'll take you on my famous "Tour A". Also-Your stay includes one free chauffeur driven trip to the grocery store. Avenue G is part of a long established neighborhood. You can walk a couple blocks to buy the morning paper and continue a few more to enjoy it at a local coffee house. Just a block away is Quality Seafood, a fun oyster bar with a Cajun flair. The local Half Price Books is just down the way, along with a sushi joint, Thai, Mexican food and a hamburger place. It's also just a short walk to the incredibly hip NORTH LOOP DISTRICT. North Loop is full of vintage shops, has a subversive bookstore, a couple of great restaurants and lots of hipsters wandering around. This is an easy, inexpensive, place to stay in Austin for a weekend or a week. Close to public transportation, easy to get to via car and within steps of great food and drink. Stay here and experience a bit of what makes Austin...Austin. Come visit!
My neighborhood is a little bit funky and basically middle class with some eclectic touches. My neighbors are nice and we often hang out. Just south of me is the trendy North Loop area. Cool shops, good burgers.
  • Michele is incredibly hospitable and great fun to stay with. Even her house is interesting to explore. Michele had typed out great advice for transport and sightseeing for our arrival, and while we were there offered to drive us places and assured us that if we were in trouble we could always call her. On our last night she took us on her own guided tour of the hills of Austin (partly to prove Austin had hills) and showed us things we never would have seen were it not for her. We highly recommend Michele!

    Geoff2015-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Michele is a super kind , very attentive host , the house is in a lovely wooded , very central neighborhood and the room is really comfortable and sweet -- i loved my stay and highly recommend Michelle's place

  • Michele is a warm and considerate gal, that was instantly friendly. She also welcomed my visiting children. She took me to a lovely market, and included me on a garage sale outing.

  • Michele is incredibly warm, welcoming and a fantastic host. She made my stay in her nice Austin home very comfortable and really went out of her way to make my stay great. I'll be staying here again next time I come though Austin and would absolutely recommend her space.

  • Michele is one of the most warm and friendly people I have ever met. My wife and I were new to airbnb and I must say this was a pleasant experience. The outdoor shower is amazing and strangely liberating (especially under the stars on a clear night. She has a tremendous knowledge base when it comes to Austin and I would recommend asking her for any advice on sightseeing or dining. It's a very clean home and a comfy bed on top of all that. Which comes in handy after a long bike ride and/or run. We loved our time with Michele and are excited to visit again!

    Mark2015-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Michele made me feel I had a home after a long car journey to a new state and then while searching for a more permanent place to call home. Kind and thoughtful, with a ton of knowledge about Austin and passion for people. Plus a great location. Highly recommended!

  • Michelle is an amazing host with a beautiful home. The room is so comfortable and I loved the miniature objects scattered around the house. She lives in a great neighborhood, close to the North Loop and walking distance to several bus lines. Michelle truly loves her city and wants to share it with people. She really went above and beyond what I ever expected from a host. My trip wouldn't have been the same without her. The next time I'm in Austin, I'll definitely be staying on Avenue G again. Thank you so much for everything!

  • Stephanie, thank you so much for letting us stay at your place. We had a wonderful time in Austin - enjoyed seeing the Capitol, eating at Wilder wood, and eating ice cream at Sweet Ritual! Your place was amazing and you were a great host. It was super clean, the beds were very comfortable and we slept great. We enjoyed watching movies and the girls loved the papasan chairs. And they enjoyed playing bingo and painting the gourds you had prepped for them. Thanks for all the extras!! It was definitely a home away from home! Very relaxing, comfortable and a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay again! Thank you so much!!

  • We stayed here as a family for a month while getting settled during our move to Austin. Stephanie and C.Y. were amazing hosts, always there when we needed something but never bothersome. They went above and beyond making us feel welcome. The location was exactly what we wanted. It's an easy commute to the city center (by car or using the train with the station only a few minutes walk away) but the neighborhood has the feel of the suburbs in a way that still has a classic Austin vibe. Great locations for food / entertainment are nearby. We really enjoyed several places, including the Brewtorium (easy walk, no need to worry about drinking the local brew), Style's Switch BBQ, and a small taco truck at the end of the street. The hosts have put forth a ton of effort to make their Airbnb as comfortable as possible, including the little details that make daily life easier. It was recently renovated and the pictures are what you get. We would definitely stay here again.

    Erica2019-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie gave us a place to stay that made our trip fun, relaxing and easy. She left us so many recommendations for local eateries and things to do around Austin; We were never left hungry or bored. Stephanie was easily reachable at all times which gave us peace of mind. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future! :)

    Heather2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Our family loved staying in this house—will stay again the next time we’re in Austin if it’s available! Awesome extras like air popper with popcorn and seasonings/snacks/Keurig with coffee pods and creamer/tons of fun Austin books and toothbrushes!! Fantastic response time/communication.

The neighbors on our street all know each other, are quiet, friendly, and fine with parties.
  • The house was as warm and welcoming as Tony, our host. The house was everything you could want in an Austin get away with a big group of friends. There were 11 of us in our group and we all fit perfectly. The beds were extremely comfortable and the place was very clean. Tony was a great host and always ready to answer questions and provide us with anything we needed. We will definitely look to stay here again the next time our group plans a weekend in Austin. Thanks again Tony!

    Ted2013-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in Austin and our host Tony is a part of it. He is absolutely above and beyond our expectation. He cares about his guests and how they enjoy their trips. He made us feel so welcome even before we got to the house. A bottle of champagne, beers, and refreshments were set up when we arrived because he had knew we came to celebrate our anniversary. Breakfast items in the fridge we could use them as well. The house is cozy and clean. We love his back yard that we spent every night there to chill in stead of exploring the city! Thanks Tony for a great stay! We come back!

    Uyen2014-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • The house is in a perfect location. It's in a safe, older neighborhood near enough to downtown and the freeway that we found it easy to get to everything we wanted to see in the city. The beds are all very comfortable. And the artwork decorating the house, by the owner, is beautiful. Downsides? We were a larger (6 adults, 2 small children) group there in the winter. And although it was 10+ degrees warmer in Austin than in the places we were coming from, it was still chilly in the evenings (we were out playing tourist during much of the day). That meant, of all the beautiful gathering places in the house (screened in porch with large heater, picnic table in the backyard), the small living room was the only place to really all get together. This would be a perfect place for a group our size or bigger to stay during the spring, summer or fall. Also, the second bathroom is only accessible from outside. That's great for the person sleeping in the separated bedroom, or the back room of the house. And it was as warm as the house once you got into it. But it was a bit chilly walking there in the winter.

    Anne2019-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Tony was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions. He took the time to show us around and describe the decorations and art, most of which are of his own creation, and quite good! He also went above and beyond and left out snacks, coffee, and even a personalized birthday card for me. The home has a very artistic vibe and was generally a fun space to be in and explore. There were plenty of beds and couches for every member of our group to sleep comfortably, and Tony was easily accessible by text or call if we had any questions or concerns. My friends and I were all impressed and pleased with our stay, and we would definitely stay there again!

    Maria2018-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Tony is an amazing host and makes you very welcome. It really is a home from home.

    caroline2017-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Tony is as an extremely courteous and gracious host. He has a lot of personality and amazing artwork that he showcases throughout the home Each room has a lot of personality and a story of its own. If you're looking for art and culture, and a home a that is vibrant and interesting, this is a great spot! We were lucky to stay in October as Tony was setting up his annual Halloween haunted house. There was plenty of space for everybody (we could have fit more). We had a great time relaxing after a long day, enjoying music and sun at ACL. Stay here if you want a place with character. Tony himself is a fantastic host. He made sure we had everything we needed and was always just a message away. Also, please say hi and feed Shelly for us -- one of the most awesome items of the home were the decorative areas outside and Shelly roaming the yard.

    Giaky2017-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Tony's home has a great location and a gorgeous backyard, which is the selling point of the rental. Unlike other Airbnbs, this rental is a home rather than an actual rental, so there are a number of personal and delicate items left in the home resulting in a long list of items that are "off-limits." As a result, this rental is a better for adults rather than families with children, as there are numerous items at kid height that are off limits but easily breakable...it would be impossible to watch your child while trying to relax and have fun. Further, when renting, be sure to carefully read the fine print as children are counted as "a person" and, although the home states there is room for 12, individuals 11 and 12 are accessed an additional fee on top of the service fee and occupancy taxes/fees.

    Jodi2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Tony has a great place for big groups! He went above and beyond to make it as enjoyable of a stay as possible.

Zen Cottage located in quiet corner of North Hyde Park. A perfect place for couples or young families seeking a peaceful retreat during your Austin stay. Sparkling wood floors, organic mattress, bedding, and towels, and a commitment to non-toxic soaps, detergents, and cleaning supplies. Lots of day time sun, and soft, non-overhead lighting for evening. Private backyard and quiet neighbors.
It serves as my private therapy practice during the week, and then transforms into a Airbnb rental on the weekends. Bedroom 1 is the master at the back of the house with a super comfortable queen bed mattress on the floor (I'm looking for a frame in the next few days) and en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is at the front of the house with the twin bed - there is an additional Thai yoga massage mat that can be laid out in the front bedroom for additional children. Bedroom 3 is a walk-through to the master bedroom and serves as my yoga room - has a comfy sleeping pad for toddlers who don't want to be too far from their parents. The second bathroom is between the front bedroom, the kitchen, and the living room. There's a small but full kitchen (no microwave), french press, washer/dryer, and eat-in kitchen table.
I lived in this house in the 90s...just two blocks to the North Loop vintage shops, amazing pizza at HomeSlice, and incredible farm to table gourmet at Foreign & Domestic. Fantastic sushi at Kome, French slow-food at Sala y Betty and great coffee at either Epoch or Flight Path a five minute walk.

• Clean place with very tasteful furniture!

  • This Wanderjaunt unit was a great value and wonderful experience. The community is growing so I imagine it’ll only get better. The pictures are accurate and the community amenities makes it feel almost like a hotel, but way more fun and cleaner. There were several clever touches that made me think, “they’ve thought of it all.” I’d highly recommend having a car, although a wait for a rideshare (Uber, Lyft, Ride Austin) was never more than 3-5 minutes—and 5 minutes would’ve been a stretch. Parking is included, safe and convenient.

Unique casa w/ 1950's retro vibe, min to metro rail for fast trip d'town. Enjoy staying in the quirky North Loop neighborhood with vintage shops, fine fare and bars. Zen backyard, gorgeous window light, breakfast nook, gourmet kitchen with retro oven in this spacious beauty. Indoor/outdoor cat onsite.
Lots of charm that can comfortably sleep up to 5ppl. Both bedrooms have one queen sized bed and the couch can sleep one person. Fully equipped kitchen, sun room, garage and large backyard. My super sweet Indoor/outdoor kitty named Lisa will be accompanying you during your stay, she requires minimal care and some friendly petting.
Walkable places in the neighborhood include Foreign and Domestic, a great dinner spot, seasonal, well thought of menu, lil on the higher price end but well worth it. Vintage shops galore on on North Loop Blvd, Tigress is my fav bar in the hood, great for eclectic cocktails, Workhorse is right next to it if you crave a more dive atmosphere. Style Switch is a delicious BBQ spot about 5min away. Dart Bowl is a local bowling alley close by. They've maintained the retro charm to it (hasn't been updated since the 70's) but that's the fun in it. Other Austin favorites: Make sure to eat at Homeslice Pizza and the BBQ around these parts truly is divine. Franklins and La Barbeque are my favs but make sure to carve out some time to wait, they both get very busy in the summer. One of my favorite spots is Barton Springs, it's spring fed water hole. The elephant room is a great place for nightly jazz and cocktails for the adults. Hamilton pool is about an hour away but it's another beautiful water hole within a cavern.
  • Excellent location, communication, and overall experience. Lisa the cat is also awesome. Highly recommended!

Big deal, small price! lg. private rm., separate entrance, full access to stunning yard w/party/grill area, Asian Tea-house&Garden,beautiful, creative home, hardwd. floors, share common areas/kitchen with me, the funky owner. Close to downtown, UT!
You'll love our beautiful home! - One large rm with amazingly comfortable bed, furnished, spotlessly clean, extra door that leads into the large backyard party area with Asian Rock Garden, footbridge, Tea-House, 2 Koi ponds. This is a discount special, perfect for a couple or single traveler. You'd also have access to the rest of the homes common areas, kitchen, living room, bathroom, shared with the owner. I spend most of my time in my studio or at my partners (she'll sometimes be here as well). My partner is a Symphony violinist and I'm a professional artist and childrens bk. illustrator. Like the space I'm fun, creative, and love meeting new people, but the set up is designed for you to have your privacy if desirable. Our focus is for the guest to have the experience that makes them happiest. The Room- the largest room, an addition built onto the back of the home, also has a separate entrance, connected right to the bathroom, couch, reading area, books, AC/Heat. The House: Common/Living rm Area and Kitchen are open to all guests and fully stocked. Great for relaxing and meetings as well. Includes: Free Netflix, DVD, TV, wifi, The Yard: New 'Oriental Rock Garden' a fantastic stroll over a footbridge, 2 Koi ponds, gazebo, gas grill area, fire-table and pavilion, Tea-house and Outside bungalow, deck, plenty of chairs, coolers, anything you need, everything fully lit at night. And there's Shelly, a harmless giant african tortoise who lives in a cave and comes out daily to graze. She's half friendly dinosaur, half cow. We leave apples if you'd like to give her a treat! Other amenities: *We pride ourselves in and guarantee a spotless, beautiful home, fresh & clean linens, pillows & blankets, on bed. *2 nice Bikes with locks, for guest use! Take a ride through the beautiful Hyde Park neighborhood, lots of shops, cafes within walking distance (we provide maps of highlights) *Washer/Dryer, Central Air & Heat in home, you control it in the room. *Driveway & Street Parking. * Close enough to downtown but away from the traffic and downtown neighborhood issues. Hyde Park/Skyview is an extremely safe, clean, and quiet neighborhood and makes a beautiful place to walk or jog, day or night. Only 6 minutes to downtown by car, right on bus route to downtown, right on the metro-rail line, which goes strait downtown and on which you can take the bikes if you'd like. Cab is $12-14 to/from downtown. Enjoy Austin!
Not all neighborhoods are created equal. We're 6 min. from 6th St., though in one of the safest places in town.Everyone knows each other here, the neighborhood is considered very safe, clean, you can walk or jog through, lots of cafes, shops nearby. It's also one of those places you can have a party without someone complaining, everyone's generally quiet and respectful of others.
  • Tony and Giana were such phenomenal hosts that we highly recommend their services if you find yourself in the Austin. His good vibes, sincere hospitality, and beautiful home offered a warm welcome to this weird city. From the cloud-like mattresses to the cool outdoor bungalow, there is no concern that you wont be comfortable! Don't let size fool you, the bungalow is kept cold even on a hot Texas day and is filled with many good reads, wifi, and netflix! Make sure to bring some carrots and grapes for Shelly the tortoise, shes sure to make an appearance! We are sure to call Tony next time we are in Austin! Thanks again, Mark, Ana, Frida, Steve, and Doris!

    Ana2014-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Tony is a special guy. Not only is he super knowledgable about pretty much everything in Austin, he's fun to talk to about art, movies, music, you name it. He's a very genuine and kind person who really went out of his way to make our first trip to Austin special (even burned some CDs for the drive back to NC). His house is the most interesting one I've been in, and his Tortoise, Shelly, really ties the backyard together. The bed is beyond is comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay.

    Trevor2015-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is my second week-long stay at Tony's Airbnb. Ideal setup for my Austin work assignments. Plan to return.

    Jack2019-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • After an initial slight hiccup at our arrival, with Tony thinking we were arriving a day later (!), our stay couldn't have been better. Our room was quickly made ready and Tony was the perfect host, recommending fantastic places to go and even taking us out - we got to experience so many brilliant things in Austin we just wouldn't have otherwise known about. The place was great, super comfortable bed and the garden was beautiful; such a lovely area to relax in. And of course, it was all topped off with the wonderful company of Shelly! Such a great airbnb experience, would definitely recommend.

    Kerry2016-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • We keep coming back and sending our friends! Tony always goes out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable and his exceptional home feels like resort, gallery and museum all rolled into one. Don't expect a Holiday Inn chain hotel- this is much cooler, kinder and more insightful. It is a place where adventures, friendships and exquisite cocktails are made. Shaken and stirred!

    Taryn2015-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • Tony is the best friend you always wish you had. If you're just coming to stay at Tony's, you will sleep like a baby and have a great time but if you have the pleasure of spending time with Tony be prepared for the most delightful trip of your life. We were going through a stressful renovation and had to move out last minute right before a big trip so it was the worst time for us and was not a scheduled vacation. However, it turned into a super relaxing staycation and making a new friend. One of a kind place, people, experience. Well, hopefully not a one of a kind experience, we hope to have many more of them.

    Taryn2015-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Tony was an amazing host! I moved to Austin with no apartment lined up, a dog, a cat and a birdcage and for a reasonable pet fee he let the critters and I stay:) He was also super cool about letting my dog hang out with him and even playing a little fetch while I was looking for an apartment (she fell in love with him and it was so much less stressful for me knowing she had company) and would even feed me dinner if he was cooking for everybody, great cook! His girlfriend Elise and room mate Desiree were super friendly as well! Of course Shelly the tortoise was a fascinating bonus and Tony was doing even MORE fancy gardening while we were there, the backyard will be even better than in the pics by the time you get there yourself! Would definitely recommend, he couldn't be friendlier and more helpful to anyone new to the city:)

    April2014-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Tony's house is a piece of art... Tony is very a friendly, helpful and interesting guy. He greeted me and showed me the house on my arrival, and I immidiately felt really welcome. The guest room is cozy with a huge ultra comfy bed, personal ventilation/heater and bathroom attached. My favourite part was the garden, it is really unique. I might be kind of biased as I fell in love with Shelly, the super cute giant tortoise, with who we were "chasing" each other in the garden :). Thank you Tony for an exceptional experience and send my kisses to Shelly. I am a little jealous with people who are being your guests now as my stay was so short :)

This jewel is in a prime location in Central Austin. It’s 3 miles from the University of Texas conveniently by highway I-35.Also, 6 miles from the Domain. There is a Hilton hotel across the street and a seafood restaurant, Papadeux right behind. Great calm and well maintained complex with outdoor area and laundry facility. Kitchen fully equipped. Wi-fi and channels available, also Netflix.Across the street there is a Hilton Hotel and a Seafood restaurant, Pappadeaux. Guests stay with comfort.
I enjoy interior design and have personally selected every item available in the space. Considering this is home for me I have choose good quality items and materials to added comfort.
This is a safe location conveniently located by the highway I-35. The complex itself has a lot of security cameras and I am across the street from a Hilton hotel, which allows you for easy access to cabs or Uber during events, as well meals if you decide not to cook.
  • Rita's place was phenomenal!!! It was a easy drive to the highway and close to everything. House was very clean and bed was super comfortable. Rita provided quick responses to every question I had. I stayed there an entire week and she made me feel like I was at home. It is definitely well decorated with style. I was introduced with a bottle of wine and a red velvet cake. Highly recommend staying here, you will not regret your decision.

Easy to SXSW convention center/ downtown, and to COTA for F1- Walkable restaurants and bars, happening neighborhood. Property is Craftsman on the outside, modern on the inside with lots of vintage touches. Custom throughout.
AVAILABLE FOR F1 AND SXSW: Gorgeous Craftsman/Contemporary home in Northloop/Hyde Park area. Lodgey on the outside, contemporary on the inside. -2200 sq. feet -Cook's kitchen. -4 bedrooms (one king, one queen, one sleeper sofa that opens to king, one full bed. -3.5 baths-all tiled, two with soaker tubs and walk-in showers. -Fully stocked bar...Have a cocktail (or five!), on us! -Foosball set up in gameroom. -Fenced, private yard. -Two large outdoor private patios. -MAXIMUM 5 PERSON -Responsible, outdoor smokers ONLY. Take Red River St. straight into downtown in five minutes.
In Hyde Park, you’re more likely to encounter articulate residents and local bakeries than noisy crowds and raucous bars. Small-town charm emanates from Hyde Park’s coffee shops and markets, and the neighborhood’s historic homes, well-tended lawns, and tree-shaded streets all contribute to its inviting walkability. Getting to Downtown requires a quick ride via bike or public transit—luckily Hyde Park is served by multiple MetroBus lines. North Loop is North Austin’s answer to the edgy entertainment found south of Lady Bird Lake in SoCo. Walk into North Loop’s vintage stores, record shops, or hybrid coffee shop-cocktail spots (they give new meaning to baristas), and you’ll set new trends upon exiting their brightly colored buildings. Located steps away from this laid-back neighborhood’s cool hangouts, modest single-story homes intermingle with modern apartment complexes along tree-lined streets.
  • Once again, Annette provided a perfect home away from home for our business trip to SXSW. Her place is fantastic. Every nook and cranny is filled with thoughtful touches and incredible decor.

    Eric2017-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great house. Many luxury touches in a house with great character. We found a nice little touch every day of the five we stayed. The neighborhood was quite and interesting. Walkable to fun pubs and restaurants. Close drive to lots of great markets, bakeries and shops. Annette had great suggestions.

    Harald2018-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • We saw a lot of panels, ate a ton of food, and met thousands of people at SXSW, but this home was the star. Each morning, the four of us would converge on Annette's remarkable kitchen and brag about some interesting new thing we discovered about the place. The two-headed shower upstairs. The old comic books in the playroom. The porch in the backyard. The fantastic sitting areas strewn throughout the place. A perfect way to do SXSW.

    Eric2016-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Annette was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and while at the property. The house was huge, extremely comfortable and very unique in its decoration. I recommend this property to anyone who is looking for an Austin Oasis vacation.

Walk up the stone footpath and kick back on the porch surrounded by plants at this stylish home. The house features high ceilings with light flooding in through the windows. The white walls create a canvas for intriguing Texan decorations throughout.
The house is in the North Loop/Hyde Park Area of Austin. It’s within walking distance of great bars and restaurants, including Home Slice, Drinkwell, Kome Sushi, and Epoch Coffee.
  • A thoroughly professional and personalized B&B experience. Clean, spacious and close to downtown Austin and the University of Texas at Austin. Great communications.

  • A family scattered all over and a year of transitions found us without a home for hosting Thanksgiving. Then we found Bonni's place. The space, the layout, a fully equipped kitchen... it all came together to give us quite the memorable Thanksgiving!

  • Bonnie’s House was beyond lovely! the aesthetics were sheen and very instagramble! The home is located in Hyde park (North Loop area) which is a quiet yet hip area that has a surprisingly good amount of food and drink options. We really enjoyed the area and what it had to offer! If you’re headed to downtown, it is a quick 15-20 min Uber/Lyft ride. But to be honest, we mostly lounged at the home and enjoyed each other’s company for the most part. The house itself is very “homey” and is sparkling clean! It truly was a home away from home. The check in and check out process was very easy and we did not have any issues. Yet, we felt if we did they would get taken care of promptly as the communication with our host was superb. We had three couples, one to each room and everyone enjoyed their room and the amenities that came with it. If you’re looking for a roomy home to accommodate friends or family, we definitely recommend Bonnie’s place!

  • Bonnie was an excellent host, with a beautiful home in a lovely location. The house was perfect for our group of six, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living room and bedrooms. Communication and check-in/check-out were super easy, and Bonnie left a list of nearby food and drink recommendations to get us started. We would definitely stay here again!

  • This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I was a little bit nervous about what exactly the place might be since there wasn't much to go off of in the description, but the place was very affordable, in a good location, and well kept. Would stay again!
