Our home sits above the Colorado River, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We're located minutes from wineries, orchards, and historic downtown Palisade. Our finished, walk-out basement & back deck is yours to enjoy, with sunken hot tub, fire pit, lovely views of Debeque Canyon, the palisades, the shifting Colorado skies, and an array of wandering wildlife. We have a dog and two indoor cats, who live upstairs. Please note we are not a Bed & Breakfast. Swamp cooling.
At sunset the surrounding canyon walls glow in the reflected light, and our night skies are magnificent for star gazing. A small kitchen is equipped with microwave, coffee maker, tea pot, sink, and a small fridge. Also on the property is an art gallery you're free to visit during your stay. Although we don't allow smoking in the house, you are free to smoke on the deck, and we are 420 friendly. We are just minutes from the Palisade Rim Trail, wineries, orchards, and historic downtown Palisade. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, and enjoy privacy, comfort, and beautiful views, this is the place!

Our place has great views from the front porch, and fresh eggs every morning from our chickens in the back. A comfortable stay in the Western slope's famous wine country. The backyard is great for relaxing around a fire after exploring nearby parks, wineries, hikes, festivals, frisbee golf, brewery, distillery, dispensary, and quaint downtown. All just a short walk away. Or take one of our bikes! The inside is a nicely updated home away from home. Come experience our Western Hospitality!
The yard is fenced in by a privacy fence and there is a doggy door for your best friend's convenience. Don't worry, the chicken coop is in a dog-proof pen. You can have as much or as little interaction with the chickens as you want; they are very friendly and love treats (favorites are corn on the cob and watermelon)! You are welcome to collect their eggs in the morning, but we will always have some fresh eggs left in the fridge for you. There is a nice fire pit in the backyard as well as a propane grill- great to enjoy all year round while taking in views of the Grand Mesa. Our home is cozy and comfortable- the perfect getaway for a weekend exploring all the Western Slope has to offer.
Our house is walking/biking distance from everything in Palisade! Close to downtown Palisade, multiple wineries, and Riverbend park (popular for many festivals, a beautiful off-leash dog park/frisbee golf course, and river entry for the Colorado River). We're 20 minutes away from the Colorado National Monument with incredible views and hikes. We're a short 45 minutes from the Grand Mesa which has skiing/snowboarding at Powderhorn Resort and also beautiful lakes and trails to explore.

This is an old 2-story Victorian farm house nestled in amongst peach orchards and cornfields. It has an open floor plan on the main level. The decor is artsy, funky and fun! The yard and gardens are designed for relaxing, grilling, and hanging out. See the additional Funky & Fun Orchard House page to book the whole house.
The orchard house was built in 1900 and sits on an acre of land in the heart of Palisade’s peach & wine country. Just beyond the backyard is a working organic peach orchard. We’re located within easy biking and walking distance (1 mile) to downtown Palisade where you’ll find fruit stands, wineries, the brewery, distillery, restaurants, shops, art galleries and grocery. The orchard house is a great place to land whether you’re in town to adventure, celebrate or relax. Nearby activities include river rafting, mountain biking, road biking, hiking, wine-tasting, and orchard tours. At the end of the day you’ll have a quiet, secluded spot to unwind!
The road the house is on was called Millionaires Row back in the day. Lots of grand old Victorian homes and orchards, peach trees all over the place. And Bookcliffs. And the Mesa. And the Colorado River. And the Monument. You’re gonna love it!

Funky little 1915 era cottage with wonderful outdoor living spaces designed as a home away from home. Two bedrooms and one bath, small kitchen and all you need for dining in or for meals served on the patio. Close to everything in Palisade-wineries, distillery, brewery, bakery, art galleries, library, river sports and bike rentals. Lots of day trips within 90 minutes drive time.
The cottage is not child proofed nor are the doorways wide enough for wheelchairs. The cottage is cooled with a "swamp cooler" which is a window mounted evaporative system that is very effective in the arid, high desert of western Colorado. Sorry no pets.
If fun and the funky are your style this is the perfect accommodation for up to four people. Tucked behind a wooden fence, and set back from Main Street, lies our little cottage. You hardly realize that you are in “Downtown Palisade.” The heart of this little house was built in 1915 and is rumored to have been the seasonal quarters for an orchard (Peaches) manager. Sloping floors indicate that the kitchen was once a porch. The additional rooms were added on the whim of the owner at the time. The result is a cottage like no other with all rooms having two doors; the kitchen has five! Upon entering the front door into the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare your own meals. Dining can be in the living/dining room, the front patio, or amongst the fruit trees in the backyard. The cottage provides two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen sized bed. Two walls are covered with windows reminiscent of an enclosed porch. The second bedroom has a cozy double bed. The cottage is filled with books from many eras and interests. It is decorated with an eclectic flare with comfort and relaxation in mind. From this location downtown Palisade is just a few short blocks. Wineries can be reached by bike or auto. Fruit stands abound in the summer and early fall. The Colorado River is wonderful for a casual float with local guides. Cottage -1915 and then some

5 bedroom Farmhouse near downtown Palisade in a rural setting with views. Great for groups! Pet and “420-Friendly”
Full of art, plants, and life, this classic 111 year old farmhouse was moved to the current location in 2007, on its 100 year anniversary, from eight miles away. Originally located on a one hundred acre pear orchard, it now sits surrounded by the magnificent Palisade area views of the Grand Mesa and the Bookcliffs, with peach orchards and a vineyard immediately surrounding it. Fully updated with 3350 square feet, three roomy bathrooms, two with claw foot tubs, a large social kitchen and great room, another living area, a formal dining room, and a large comfortably furnished wrap around porch, there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There are many board games, puzzles, and cable TV and WiFi for down time. All of the bedrooms have new mattresses, and the house is well insulated, with Central AC, and at a distance from the train so you will sleep soundly and comfortably. One bedroom on main floor with a queen size bed and 3/4 bath en suite; two bedrooms upstairs with queen size beds each; one bedroom upstairs with two full size beds, and a full five piece bath including claw foot tub for these rooms; also upstairs a master suite with a king size bed, plenty of floor space for additional blow up mattresses if needed, and a full five piece bath en suite including a claw foot tub. The house is walking distance from downtown Palisade, and we are very close to the Colorado River and the recreational opportunities it provides. In fact, you can see the high water from the porch in June! We sit about halfway along the popular “Town Float”, a fun two mile river float on paddle boards, kayaks, or “duckies”, that is a staple of summer enjoyment. There are several trailheads for moderately challenging and very scenic hikes in the immediate vicinity, including the Palisade Rim Trail with ancient native people’s petroglyphs along it. The house is a fifteen minute walk from Riverbend Park for music festivals, the Palisade Peach Fest, and the famous Colorado Mountain Wine Fest, as well as disc golf and other outdoor recreation. Riverbend Park also has an off-leash dog park. Up to two dogs are welcome at the Fabulous Farmhouse and there is a doggie door and fenced dog run for when your little buddy has got to stay home. This is a lovely, rural, and mainly flat area that is superb for bicycles, with rentals available from the bike shop in town. Rapid Creek Cycles also rents river equipment like SUPs and kayaks, as well as gives lessons. When you take that short drive, bike ride, or nice walk into Palisade, you will find restaurants, a brewery and a distillery, and Colorado Weedery, which is a retail cannabis store. Also a well stocked grocery store, gas and convenience stores, hardware store, liquor store, as well as art galleries and wineries. Enjoy ALL that Colorado has to offer from this location! We are “420-Friendly”! The Colorado National Monument is located in nearby Grand Junction. We are a one and a half hour drive to Moab, Utah’s red rock country and Arches National Park; one and a half hour drive from Ouray, Colorado, the “Switzerland of America”; and a forty min drive to the top of the Grand Mesa, with over two hundred lakes, plus Powderhorn Mountain Resort. Guests have full use of the house and property, excluding two locked closets upstairs containing the owners’ personal property.
This quiet location, with its proximity to town, and never ending views is ideal. It looks as if the cliffs are right outside the window. The house sits on a wildlife corridor, and we frequently see bald eagles, great blue herons, raccoons, deer, and the occasional bear. At night, the Milky Way is clearly visible in the star studded sky above you, and it’s like broad daylight when the moon is full. Nighttime stroll into town, anyone? We enjoy spending time looking at the views from the wrap around porch, and our famous sunny weather makes it useable ten months of the year. The house has a warm, lived in, feel to it, and it’s just so comfortable. Palisade is a special town, with the friendliest people we’ve ever lived among, and we frequently go into town for the farmers market, live music, excellent food and drink. The house sits out of town, surrounded immediately by orchards and vineyards.

Begin, end or spend your day lounging on the front porch in the shade of mature peach trees or enjoying views of the rugged Palisades seeming to rise just outside the back door.
Our home is perfect to enjoy the rural setting of the vineyards and orchards of Palisade yet still be close to all the activities available. You'll enjoy the spacious floor plan (1640 sqft.) and surrounding area. There is oodles of parking space. During growing season, please feel welcome to pick a peach for your morning cereal or better yet an afternoon cocktail. I'll share my gorgonzola-peach pizza recipe that's a family favorite. Also, you may enjoy your very own "Field-to Fork" mini experience as you harvest any herbs, tomatoes, and eggplants from the garden. If the flowers are blooming, you're welcome to make a fresh arrangement for the table. Regarding sleeping arrangements: please let me know if you'd like the over-sized ottoman in the upstairs Loft Bedroom set up as a single bed or if you'd prefer to use the sitting room. Also, the master bedroom can accommodate a single roll away bed. You'll need to alert me to your needs as the master bed normally holds one queen bed. I'll happily have the roll-away away set up for you if you prefer. Please do not hesitate to message or call with any and all questions you may have. We look forward to welcoming you! For your planning, you may interested to know how close many wineries are to our home: Within 1.0 mile east of my house are three : 1) Red Fox 2) Garfield Estates 3) Maison La Belle Vie Within 1.0 mile south and west of the house are four more: 4) Meadery of the Rockies 5) Varaison Vineyard and Winery 6) Plum Creek Winery 7) De Beque Canyon Winery (actually 1.37 miles) Within 1.2 mile north and east of the house are two more: 8) Grande River Vineyards and Winery 9) St. Kathryn's Winery Also, not to be missed; I walk to these two regularly. They are: 10) The Palisade Brewery 11) My all time favorite, The Peach Street Distillery. You'll not want to miss Sunday morning Bloody Mary's there! Breakfast recommendations: Our little Palisade Café has yummy breakfast and I can highly recommend our little bakery in town, The Slice of Life. Oh my gosh!!! Such yummy breakfast burritos and pastries that would curl your hair. Coffee in many iterations as well. I love its atmosphere. So cozy and charming. Also, we love using one of our family-owned businesses, Grub Gofers. They deliver food from many restaurants, groceries and alcohol. You can see their full offering and menus online. Just Google "Grub Gofers." There charges are super reasonable in my option. Why cook? On Sundays the Palisade Farmers Market is a delight! It'a been recently extended into September and October. We love to have Bloody Mary's at The Peach Street Distillery and then saunter through the market:))
There are no shortages of wineries near me. We bike easily to them. You'll want to consider the fitness level of your group though. It's an easy and short bike ride from my house to many wineries. For your planning purposes: Within 1.0 mile east of my house are three : 1) Red Fox 2) Garfield Estates 3) Maison La Belle Vie Within 1.0 mile south and west of the house are three more: 4) Meadery of the Rockies 5) Varaison Vineyard and Winery 6) Plum Creek Winery 7) De Beque Canyon Winery (actually 1.37 miles) Within 1.2 mile north and east of the house are two more: 8) Grande River Vineyards and Winery 9) St. Kathryn's Winery Also, not to be missed! I walk to these two regularly. They are: 10) The Palisade Brewery 11) My all time favorite, The Peach Street Distillery. You'll not want to miss Sunday morning Bloody Mary's there! Breakfast recommendations: Our little Palisade Café has yummy breakfast as well. If you don't mind no waitresses, I can recommend highly our little bakery in town, The Slice of Life. Oh my gosh!!! Such yummy breakfast burritos and pastries that would curl your hair. Coffee in many iterations as well. I love its cozy atmosphere. So charming!

Perfect room for two people who don’t quite want to snuggle up in bed with each other, but don’t mind sleeping in the same room. (We can’t promise no snoring.) Room features a mini-fridge and spacious bathroom with stall shower. All rooms feature wifi, cable with HDTVs. For weekend reservations, Saturday nights must be booked together with either Friday or Sunday nights. Holidays and holiday weekends may require additional nights.
Spoke and Vine Motel is a freshly reinvented motel with old-yet-sturdy bones, thoughtful design, sustainable features, and clean, comfortable rooms. This is NOT your grandpa’s motel. We believe in kind, attentive service, delicious coffee, quality bedding, good vibes, and rooms that look as good as they feel—all with a healthy dose of snark. This is not the Ritz, after all. Our rooms are simple, ultra-clean, and comfortable. We might have a modest exterior (call it minimalism!), but our luxury beds will lull you to sleep, our stylish and functional spaces will inspire you, and you’ll have everything you need to enjoy an adventurous stay. (Unless you describe yourself as “high maintenance”—this might not be the place for you if you like bellboys, full-service concierge, and someone to fan you with a palm frond while feeding you grapes.)
We’re perfectly located within walking distance of all the food, wine, beer, mead, and fruits your heart desires. We aim to be your favorite place to stay in Palisade and the entire Grand Valley.

This is an old 2-story Victorian farm house nestled in amongst orchards and farms. It has an open floor plan on the main level. The decor is artsy, funky and fun. The yard and gardens are designed for relaxing, bar-b-queing and hanging out!
The orchard house was built in 1900 and sits on an acre of land in the heart of Palisade’s peach and wine country. Nearby activities include river rafting, mountain biking, road biking, hiking, skiing, wine-tasting and orchard tours. At the end of the day you’ll have a quiet, secluded spot to unwind!
The road the house is on was called Millionaire’s Row back in the day. Lots of grand old Victorian homes and orchards, peach trees all over the place. And Bookcliffs. And the Mesa. And the Colorado River. And the Colorado National Monument. You’re gonna love it!
