This is 2 bedroom apartment (shared with the hosts) in very Central London. Located close to UCL, LSE, KCL, 3 min walk from the Underground station - Chancery Lane. 20 min walk in any direction will take you to the most famous attractions! The room is very comfy with a double bed (2 persons), desk and big wardrobe. The flat is very nicely organised: there is a small kitchen, bathroom and large living room. You will feel here like at home :-)

  • Magdalena & Adam were amazing hosts . Their apartment is conveniently located within zone 1, and just 1-2 minutes walk from the tube. It was a nice area with some restaurants and bars just a stones throw away. They gave me local tips & food ideas & were really accommodative & friendly. Was a pity I couldn’t stay longer with them. Would 100% recommend them to others. Thanks for the hospitality guys!

    My place is close to Chancery Lane, Holbourn and Farington Stations. You’ll love my place because of the location. There are many bars, restaurants around the area and you can walk to Soho, Coven Garden and Oxford Street. LSE is 17 mins walking or 6mins by bus. Check in time preference is evenings during the week after 6pm or any time during weekends. Meet & Greet or self check in can be arranged. The room is 15 square meters and I have added a new bed and mattress for guests comfort.
    The Space is clean and comfortable. The room is private but I may need access to it, that and will advise in advance if the washing machine needs to be used during the day only. I don't access it much. You will have a door lock for your convenience.
    Great area of Central London to be in, very good transport links, bars, restaurants and walking distance to Convent Garden, Soho, Oxford Street, King Cross. Supermarkets in next to the flat and you can walk to museums.

  • us avons passé 10 jours dans l'appartement de Fabio. tout etait trés bien.le quartier est bien situe, on marchait 2 minutes pour se rendre à la superette afin d'acheter ce dont on avait besoin et il y avait plusieurs restautrants à quelques pas. l'appartement est proche du métro, des arrêts de bus . certains monuments étaient accéssibles à pied, ce qui était trés appréciable étant donné que le 25 décembre aucun bus ni metro ne circulait. l'endroit est propre et trés bien chauffé. nous avions tous les équipements indispensables pour passer un bon séjours. fabio est une personne trés gentille et disponible, il répondait trés rapidement à nos demandes et nous donnait des informations utiles pour faciliter notre séjours.

  • A simple and serviceable lodging in a sort of offbeat part of London, but very handy to all of central London by bus or tube. One plus not noted in the lodging description is the Farringdon train station less than 20 minutes' walk away, with 45-minute service to and from Gatwick. Walking east on Clerkenwell Rd are several lively and cozy restaurants and bars. Across the street, a stalward Pret-a-Manger; around the corner in Grey's Inn Road is a Coop mini grocery store with lots of essentials. A few doors farther North, a very fine Lebanese restaurant which we particularly recommend.

  • Fabio was a great host. I was in the room for 7 weeks and it was really fine. The bathroom got cleaned every second day, the site of the room was fine and you can cook and sleep very well. The streets were noisy but you can live with that. Fabio was a great host when it came to things, which doesn’t work. He cared about it in the same second I texted him. So all in all it was a really nice stay...I would come back.

    Expect tranquillity in this cozy apartment's peaceful yet centrally located home only a short walk from the LSE. A three bedroom flat, boasting the most convenient of locations and great transport connections, you are invited to kick back on comfortable furnishings in wooden floor. Light floods into the big kitchen from the windows and there is a large reception-lobby where you will feel welcome from the first moment you come in.
    This is a three bedroom flat is on the 4th Floor of a traditional brick english building. There is no elevator. I live on my own as my girlfriend just moved to NY for a job, but I am rarely at home so guests usually end up having the whole place to themselves which is perfect for business travelers who will stay for a short period and need some peaceful place to stay. If cooking is your thing, feel free to use the kitchen as long as it is cleaned after. There is a Sainsbury downstairs, about 5min away. If you prefer to eat somewhere you can also find plenty of nice restaurants in the area. What everyone love best about my place is the location. With over 5 means of transportation available, u will be spoilt with choices and positively surprised by how quick you can get to all the main tourists attractions and the center of the city. I also got a very comfy bed. Be sure to set 2 or 3 alarms if u have a plane to catch in the morning!
    The local area offers a huge array of excellent amenities as the shops, bars and restaurants of Clerkenwell and Bloomsbury are within close proximity. Walking distance from the great highlights of London: -Clerkenwell 8min -LSE London School Economics 10min -Holborn 11min -Temple 15 min -St Paul's Cathedral 16min -British Museum 17min -Somerset House 19 min -Covent Garden 23min

I spent 4 nights in Max & Sherry's place and it is definitely one of my best Airbnb experiences :) The room/flat and the location themselves are ideal for me, moreover I would love to say that Max & Sherry are definitely "Super Host"!!! It was shame I could not meet Sherry in person through my stay but her prompt response to my booking request / enquiries were really helpful :) Max is also very helpful and kind at all the time during my stay, and so nicely friendly :) I do appreciate all of their kindness and love to stay their place again!

  • Room: A comfortable and clean double bed, plenty of shelving for belongings, dresser and a closet. The room also has a desk & desk light which immensely useful to me since I was in London to study. Location: Right by Leather Lane, it's a very close to some of London's best coffee shops. During the day, there's a day-time market during the week which I missed but looked amazing. It is a 15-minute walk to the London School of Economics/Kings College Area and about 5-8 minutes to the National Railway and/or the Chancery Tube Station. Also fairly close to Covent Garden. Other spaces: Bathrooms, kitchen were immaculate. It is a few flights of stairs to get up to the building, in case you're bringing a lot of luggage. Quiet and away from street traffic. Finally, the hosts are absolutely friendly, accommodating and were super helpful in providing suggestions for places to eat and how to navigate the City. I enjoyed having tea with Max and enjoyed Sherry's clean aesthetic (the interior is quite modern and pleasant). An ideal Airbnb experience. I hope to stay here again! Thank you so much!

Cet appartement de la zone 1 offre un accès facile aux attractions touristiques du centre de Londres, la plupart des endroits étant facilement accessibles à pied, Covent Garden, de l'avenue Shaftsbury, de Soho et du West End où vous trouverez des magasins, des bars, des restaurants et des théâtres.     L'appartement a été récemment décoré et est léger et moderne. Il a une chambre avec lit double et rangement. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec des installations de lavage et de cuisine. Le salon est confortable et spacieux et dispose d'une connexion Wi-Fi, etc. Il y a un balcon donnant sur une cour intérieure.
    Leather Lane a un marché alimentaire fantastique qui fonctionne du lundi au vendredi, de 9h à 17h. Il y a des stands vendant de la nourriture de rue du monde entier. Le quartier des bijoux Hatton Garden, mondialement connu, se trouve juste au coin de la rue. Vous trouverez également ici "The Olde Mitre", l'un des plus anciens pubs de Londres, un véritable pub à 1547. Covent Garden et le West End, Soho se trouvent à 15 minutes à pied ou à environ 4 minutes en métro ou en bus de Londres. La cathédrale Saint-Paul est à 10 minutes à pied, des visites touristiques sont disponibles presque tous les jours. Le quartier branché est de Shoreditch & Brick Lane Market avec tous les bars et restaurants sont à environ 25 minutes à pied. Tous les temps de marche sont basés sur ma vitesse de marche pour vous donner une idée de la proximité. Si cela vous semble trop éloigné, vous pouvez toujours prendre un vélo de location, les transports en commun ou héler un taxi noir.

Farringdon itself seems to be a business district so mainly lively during day and closes down in evening but very central and near tube stations/buses so easy to get around. Room is nice and spacious. Note the bed is a camper bed but comfortable enough.

    With the meat of Smithfield Market, London's first ever gastropub and the nose-to-tail Michelin-starred marvels at St John, Clerkenwell has long been a regular go-to spot for those who know a thing or two about eating and drinking. And it's only getting better, with any new restaurants and bars forced to impress by the sheer weight of the competition - you've got to be good to do well here. The area also happens to be one of London's most attractive, so it's little wonder that its historic old buildings play host to a fair few architects and designers - hell, it's even got its own Design Week. Bounded by the tube stations of Farringdon, Barbican, Old Street, Angel, and Kings Cross, Clerkenwell is an incredibly central place to live - you can walk into the City, cycle into Soho or the West End, or (if you fancy a mini-break to Paris) St Pancras International is one stop away from Farringdon station.

Petit bémol : pas de papier toilette, éponge ou produit vaisselle. Pas d’ascenseur, attention pour les grosses valises. Le métro est très proche et la boîte à clé également. Sameh est très réactif et répond facilement. L’appartement est fonctionnel, la cuisine est très bien équipée et le lit est confortable. Quartier plutôt calme, nous avons très bien dormi.

  • We stayed here for a short two night stay before traveling on. The interior of the apartment was nice and exactly as described. The biggest issue we had during our stay was the noise, and we do not blame the host for this but do feel it’s important for people to consider. Upon arrival we could clearly here a tv playing and we were surprised to find out it was not in our unit but the one above us. We didn’t plan on staying in the unit during the day much, so we moved on and explored the city. That night we went to bed around 10 PM and we were awaken at midnight to very loud conversations and EDM music being played directly above us. This carried on until 3 AM where we could hear music and people walking around. Then at around 7 AM we were woken up by construction going on across the street. Again, we do not blame the host for this as it is beyond his control, we just wish we had known about the noise issue.

  • Host repeatedly changed our check-in time. The original time was for 3pm. We asked the day before if we could check in early and the host said yes. I tried contacting the host to confirm if we could come for 11am. They eventually confirmed this with us. Upon getting to the lockbox for the key fob, we found that it was under a construction site and the instructions for accessing the lockbox were incorrect. After calling the “support team” to gain access to the box, we found that there were no keys in the box and the support rep wanted us to retrieve them from the previous occupants. When we got to the unit, the previous guests had not left the unit and had completely trashed the unit. We have taken 15 photos of the unit as proof. The previous guests were condescending to us and verbally harassed us on their way out. They left food, trash, alcohol bottle, cigarettes, and tampons everywhere. This prompted us to leave immediately. They did not give us the key. The owner’s “support team” called me repeatedly, harassing me into not cancelling the reservation. They tried to call me so many times that I had to block their number. Their support rep told me that the host apparently had 2 accounts that had not been “merged,” resulting in some sort of double-booking scenario. I could see that there were two listings for the unit on AirBnB as well. Thankfully, AirBnb was able to issue a refund plus reimbursement for our impromptu hotel booking.

  • This place was a bit of a mixed bag. First the positives: The location was good for seeing London. Bus stops nearby and just a short ride to the most popular destinations. The interior of the apartment is good. Newer, clean kitchen with all the amenities you need. The bathroom is a nice size. The bed and pull out couch are decent and the overall size of the apartment is good for city standards. Same covers all the basics well. The biggest negative to keep in mind is the construction and noise. There is a lot of construction going on in all the buildings around this one. The buildings are all covered in scaffolding and draped in tarps giving it a rundown look that was offputting at first. It's quiet at night for sleeping, but they start working around 8 or 8:30 and it's pretty noisy on and off all day. Then in the evenings, the playground noise was very loud until about 21:00. If you're just using that ad a place to sleep at night and spend the days out, it's fine. But if you need a place to come back to to rest or small children to nap, you might want to look elsewhere at least until the work is finished. One other note, the neighborhood and the complex looks a bit shabby and desolate at night when all the businesses are closed and everything is covered in scaffolding and tarps. But once we spent a little time there during the day, you could see it's a bit nicer than the first impression. There is a lot of good street food on Leather Lane at lunch time and loads of activity. Overall, I would stay here again because it's a good price for how close it is to everything but I would wait until the construction is finished.

Within walking distance to great amenities, this studio apartment benefits from useful fixtures and fittings, high ceiling and tiles throughout. This fully-equipped apartment has all you may need: plates, glasses, cutlery, cooking equipment, full-sized fridge/freezer, cooker, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle. There is a washing machine, iron with ironing board and hairdryer. The apartment is cleaned to high standard and prepared before your arrival by a professional cleaning company.     The neighbourhood is a safe and quiet area. Surprisingly for somewhere so central, this area is also majorly residential. Nearby you can find the famous jewellery wholesalers at Hatton Garden and just around the corner you will have a traditional London street market, running on weekdays, perfect for your lunch break. Alongside the market there are plenty of cafes and stalls. Supermarket just 2 minutes away.
  • Appartement très bien situé, a proximité de deux arrêts de métro qui desservent l'ensemble du centre londonien, néanmoins nous avons était déçu du logement, le canapé lit cassé obligeant 2 personnes sur 4 à dormir sur un matelas par terre, le frigo ne fonctionne pas, plusieurs petits endroits pas propre du tout. Très mal finit avec des trous dans les murs, etc... De plus il faut insister sur le fait que l'hôte nous a demandé 20 £ supplémentaire car nous sommes arrivés après 19h (19h45). Cerise sur le gâteau nous attendons encore la réponse de l'hôte par rapport a des remarques vis à vis du lit cassé, silence radio .... Si vous avez le choix je déconseille cet appartement par principe, en revanche il reste bien placé et pratique ...

The aprtment is clean and full equiped. Some dark and without street views or a good ventilation. But that is not a problem for tourist use.   • I definitely confirm that the flat is run by an agency. The positive point is that the flat is very well located, near buses, 10 mn to Central London and in a quiet place. However, the flat is not very comfortable, we were 4 and the kids slept in a camp bed. As the mattress was not comfortable I have asked for a solution but didn't receive any answer, the TV didn't work either or was not well set, I don't know as I didn't receive any answer. Another point, the pictures show how the flat is but the bathroom needs to be restored, the bath is surrounded with moisture. However we had a great time as London is an amazing place.

  • I should have seen the warning signs in the word "Budget". Paint water-stained and peeling, tiles fallen from the wall onto the floor. During the daytime it's pretty dark, as the only natural light comes from one small window in the corner, but as that window has no curtain, light from the streetlights stream in at night. The lumpy mattress has seen better days, with the "springs" feeling more like spikes. On the plus side, the shower was fine (warm enough and not short of pressure), the place seems well enough equipped for cooking etc, I wasn't bothered by any noise from outside, and the location's very central. At £90/night (including airbnb fee), it's not all that budget either. Two very minor and very cheap changes would have made this a lot better for me: a cheap mattress-topper to give another lease of life to the mattress, and a curtain or blind to keep the streetlights from streaming in. As for the rest, yes, it could use a new lick of paint, and at least take the fallen tiles away if you're not going to stick them back on the wall, but in the meantime, it wouldn't take much to undo the worst issues.

  • Don't be encouraged to visit this place by the photos posted in the listing. Believe me it looks great according to the photos, but isn't so in reality. There was water dripping from the apartment above us, everytime they flush the toilet, Wi-Fi was very intermittent, there was mold in the kitchen and bathroom, and the TV didn't even have the channels configured. To top all of that, we paid an outrageous price for the apartment, when we noticed we could easily have booked a 4 star hotel nearby with a little bit more.

Located less than 1 block from the Chancery Lane underground station on the Central Line, this place is well positioned to reach all the areas of London you wish to see, yet just far enough away from the extreme crowds of the west end. If you're looking for a location with enough room for a family of 4 (even with grown teenagers) this is an excellent choice. A well appointed apartment with all the amenities you'd want including two nice bathrooms, it works well for a centralized getaway in the heart of London. The owner Ben was extremely helpful and promptly replied to questions as needed. I would highly recommend this location for anyone who's looking for a little more than a typical hotel stay.

  • Jen’s place is very well located in city center and it’s quite convenient to take underground (just one minute ‘s walk) or even go on foot to most signature attractions in London. Rooms are cozy and the place is spacious enough for 2 persons to stay and kitchen is pretty well equipped. Both checkin and checkout are quite smooth while Jen met us as scheduled. Jen is really a super host and we did have a wonderful stay there.

  • I have travelled quite a lot now and been in many Airbnb’s and this is by far the best one my wife & I have stayed at. Sherry is incredible. She was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. She was also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful and always checking we were having a great stay. The place was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. It had all of the necessities for our stay in London and as soon as you get in you feel at home! We even had some tasty local products with a personalised note to welcome us over the dining table on our arrival. The neighbourhood outside the apartment had a lot of life within walking distance. However, it was very quiet when you were in the apartment as it is inside a residential complex so perfect for a great night's sleep! The apartment was walking distance to some tourist attractions like the British Museum and Covent Garden. It was also very close to the underground or bus stops to get you to the ones further away. This is definitely the perfect place to stay if you are traveling to London and I am happy to recommend it to any future guests. If you don't fancy walking then just a few minutes walk away hop on the tube at Chancery Lane and be there in minutes. The area is a mix of residential properties and offices such as ITV NEWS STUDIO, this means weekends are extremely quiet. Our neighbourhood has great transport connections Outside the apartment buses will take you directly to kings cross station/Camden/Islington and in the opposite direction to Covent Garden/ St. Paul's/ London Bridge/ Waterloo/ oxford street/ Bond Street. You will also be 3 mins walk from Chancery Lane tube station to access the tube network.
  • Jesse’s place is centrally located and just a few minutes from the tube. The flat is well equipped and cozy. It is off the high street so it’s sometimes a little noisey but manageable. As for Jesse, he was very helpful when dealing with unexpected issues that came up throughout the stay and made sure things were improved. He was also very quick to reply and helped move my bags at checkout.

  • I had the absolute pleasure of staying in Jesse’s apartment for 3 months and would recommend it to anyone! The apartment is clean and well-supplied. Its cozy and just right for 1-2 persons. The apartment is very well located - just a stone’s throw away from Chancery Lane tube and a 15-20 minute walk to Soho and Oxford St. Many buses service the area too! TLDR: Highly recommended for 1-2 travellers, you won’t regret it!!

    Set in London's traditional Diamond / Jewellery Quarter - Hatton Garden in Holborn - this triplex apartment featuring Penthouse-style open plan living area covering the entire top floor is a real hidden gem. Newly modernised and furnished to the highest standards, this home is perfect for a short stay whether it's for business, leisure or pleasure. The owners regularly host sizeable dinner parties and as such the home is set up perfectly to cater for home entertainment. A fully-stocked chef's kitchen faces out onto the dining room and living space. By combining the extendable kitchen table with the low bench space, it's possible to seat up to 18 people (with enough chairs included). Enjoy the huge LED flat screen TV with full cable channels and wired up to the flush ceiling-mounted surround sound speaker system (iPod dock included). There is 150Mb high-speed fibre-optic cable supplied by Virgin Media for lightning downloads speeds. The second floor features two double bedrooms, one with en-suite, as well as a family bathroom. These are fully tiled and feature the highest quality materials. The ground floor incorporates a desk/office area plus laundry room. From end of April 2015, this area will be modernised to match the decor found elsewhere, and configured as a convertible third bedroom/office with its own en-suite bathroom. Set back from the street with only one other apartment sharing a private gated entrance, the flat offers free, secure and private off-street parking during the summer holidays around August. Parking can often be arranged for other periods on request. Rentals of this apartment for more than 3 nights includes the use of your choice of iPad, iPhone or Galaxy Note 4 so you can have us on call to deal with any requests, without having to worry about international data roaming charges. Computers, fax and phones can also be provided by advance request.
    Who would have thought that an area known for Fabric and London’s premier meat market (no pun intended) would become such a desirable location for city types, wedged as it is between St Paul’s, the Barbican and the wilds of North London beyond. Farringdon is one of those places that just became trendy; clubs, bars and restaurants moved in and even the ancient site of Smithfield with its unglamorous history of gruesome executions and livestock and meat trading has acquired an air of 'raw' cool. Its Victorian market buildings preside over the locality and, as the day dawns, buyers and sellers mingle with the 4am traffic of weary clubbers wending their way home. Being in range of some of the freshest meat and produce in London, the area has attracted a number of gastronomic types, who have turned the market's environs, especially around Charterhouse Street, into a hub for yummy nosh-ups. Try leather-and-brickwork warehouse restaurant Smiths of Smithfield for a morning fry-up or a juicy steak. There are plenty of hotels nearby to be within walking distance of Farringdon's brilliant nightlife.

  • Pengyou wasn't able to meet me but her very kind friend let us in. An Amazing retreat in the city, wonderfully comfortable, spotlessly clean - lots of space to relax. A fantastic location close to everywhere, a short cab ride into soho and a very short walk to the wonderful shops and restaurants around Exmouth Market and Clerkenwell. I hope very much to come back soon.
