Everything is right at your doorstep from this downtown condo located only a stone’s throw away from all the shops and restaurants that Asheville has to offer. Take advantage of the free parking to save time and money as well as avoid the downtown traffic. Your space contains everything you will need for an enjoyable, comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for easy preparation of snacks or meals. For those staying longer, the condo has both washer and dryer for your convenience.
Our condo has a luxury tiled bath which includes a deep soaking tub and a large glass shower with TWO separate shower heads. The condo’s central hot water system provides an abundant supply of fresh hot water. Stay a while.
Out the parking lot on foot and you are at the beginning of the Shop/Restaurant District if downtown Asheville. Asheville also has other interesting districts which include the River Arts District, Montfort which is north just across the interstate, Biltmore Village and of course mountain and forest district for a great outdoors experience. Both Sierra Nevada and New Belgian Breweries are popular destinations as well as numerous small craft breweries scattered throughout the city. YMCA nearby. Biltmore Fitness daily rates.

I also really love how serene it is while still being convenient to walking all over downtown.

Biltmore Estate and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking trails are within a 15 minute drive.
Get more out of your stay in Asheville with this little home away from home. Enjoy having a full-size kitchen and living room in addition to the bedroom and bathroom in this 600+ SF condo. This makes for a much more spacious stay than a hotel. You will have a free, dedicated parking spot just outside and elevator access that will make it easy for bringing in luggage. You won't need to use your car during your stay, though, because you are close enough to walk to just about anywhere you would want to go downtown. An internal access hallway buffers the majority of highway noise from I-240 to the North from entering the space. The living room is on the North side adjacent to this hallway, and the bedroom faces the city. The space is cleaned with environmentally-friendly products and no harsh chemicals are used. Parking downtown can be hard to find—one space is included with your rental. The condo has one bedroom, a living room plus kitchen and breakfast bar, two full bathrooms, and washer/dryer. The bedroom has a queen bed, desk & chair, wi-fi, dresser, white noise machine for light sleepers, and full size closet. The living room is furnished with a sofa, two comfortable arm chairs, cable tv, and wi-fi. Each full bath, has a deep soaking tub with shower. Two blocks residential walk to downtown, this 1915 house in Asheville's premier historic neighborhood is a five minute walk to Reed Creek Greenway, Whole Foods, U.S. Cellular Center and much more!
Enjoy being a ten minute walk to dozens of restaurants and music venues in the heart of Asheville while staying on a quiet residential street. Upstairs you will find a queen size bed, and two full size beds, a full bathroom with clawfoot bathtub and shower. There is a queen size futon on the main level. An equipped baby crib is in the largest bedroom. Sheets, blankets, towels and washcloths are provided. The main level half bath also offers a washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. There is a counter height refrigerator, and also a full size refrigerator down stairs. Filtered water is available through a kitchen sink tap.
The house is located in an historic neighborhood with many grand Victorian houses.

A beautiful one-hundred year old Richard Sharp Smith historic home in Montford neighborhood. 3 blocks from the center of town, 5-15 minute walk to everything. Hot tub, high speed wi-fi and cable tv, outdoor spaces for relaxation, gourmet kitchen.
You will be staying in the "Blue Room". This is downstairs next to the "Green Room". Those two rooms share the Mauve bathroom. This home is a quick 5 minute walk from the center of downtown. This historic neighborhood is peaceful, yet only a short walk to all the fun activities downtown. Fantastic restaurants nearby, the Pritchard Park drum circle, the US Cellular Center, and St. Lawrence Basilica are only three blocks away. We are a 5 minute drive from UNCA.. You won't need to move your car once you are settled in, unless you decide to go to the Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village, 10 minutes away. Easy access to the Blue Ridge parkway, NC Arboretum, Folk Art Center and much more!
I love the beautiful old historic homes in this Montford neighborhood. My house dates from circa 1910, termed a "Victorian cottage", and built by Richard Sharp Smith. Many of the homes in the neighborhood date from the 1880's. This Victorian neighborhood was the first suburb of Asheville. It is very quiet and friendly. Lots of beautiful walking opportunities around the neighborhood.

If you want an in-town experience, this is it! Perfectly situated near downtown in a quiet historic neighborhood. Every element has been curated to create a special experience, including original artwork and hand-painted furniture, quality linens & comfy bed. A beautiful en-suite bath has been designed for your convenience. Enjoy coffee, tea & snacks, while gazing at the backyard. A mini fridge, electric kettle, coffee maker & all the kitchenware is supplied. Guest wing with private entrance. Smoking only permitted outside. If you are bringing a pet, please ask for pet guidelines.
I have 2 airbnb rooms, that have very similar features and feel. So if this room does not have the availability you are seeking.. check out the other room, The Sweet Spot - https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6503015. The Boutique Room is a nice size bedroom with private ensuite bathroom in a separate guest wing in back of the house. The most important things for me are: clean and fresh, nice ambiance (decor), firm cozy bed, with quality linens, hot water and good pressure in shower and an area you can make a snack, coffee or tea. The room is equipped with a small fridge, toaster oven, electric kettle and coffee maker some basics (condiments, tea, coffee) and utensils. Original art work enhances wall spaces. Air Conditioning for hot summer days. A table with 2 chairs, for hanging out. There are lots of great little extras. I am happy to stock granola, organic yogurt and milk, good coffee, fruit and if you have something you love, just ask! You have a semi-private entrance, so if you are out and about late, no worries. There is a true feeling of privacy in the back of the house. Green fenced in backyard with table and chairs to relax - smokers welcome outside. Your safety is important to me - Locks on guest doors, fire extinguishers, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, safety card, motion sensor lights by entrances, and off street parking etc.. My driveway can accommodate 2 medium size SUV. If you have a very large SUV or truck you may have to park on street where there is typically ample parking. Only 3 blocks to town where you can enjoy many restaurants, breweries, galleries, shops , Asheville Yoga Studio (about 7 blocks) and more. Best of both worlds: close to the downtown, but quiet space when you are ready to relax. Dogs are welcome, but please check in with me BEFORE you book, so that I can send the pet rules to be sure you can abide by them. Fenced in yard for romping. We love animals. There is a $10 Pet fee per visit. I have tried to think of all the necessities, lots of conveniences, and many luxurious extras. I want you to feel at home and pampered. If there is something I missed, I am open to suggestions and requests. Most of the beautiful photos were taken by an Airbnb photographer with a wide angle lens that does distort the room size a bit.
This home is in the charming, historic Montford which has beautiful Victorian homes, tree-lined streets, and fabulous gardens. It is just three blocks to town, where there are cafes, music, and shopping.

Walk Everywhere, so close to downtown shops/brewery/grocery
Historic Home, built in the early 1900s, lovingly restored a few years ago. Large windows bring in lots of natural light. All high end stainless steel appliances, 3 flat screen TVs with Cable, great furnishings.
Amazing Historic Montford, right next to downtown, is full of restored Victorian and Arts-and-Crafts style Homes, many of which are over 100 years old. Our home is also steps away from Downtown, which is full of great dining, nightlife, breweries, entertainment, etc. Our neighborhood is directly next to the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium and the U.S. Cellular Center. There's also 3 great grocery stores walking distance away (Trader Joes, Wholefoods, and Harris Teeter)

This one bedroom, one bath studio is located in the back of my beautifully restored 1920s bungalow in downtown Asheville.
The studio apartment, located in the back part of my house, is decorated with a mix of modern and vintage furniture. Some have been in my life for a long time, some brand new to the space, and art made by me hangs on the walls. There's a small kitchenette with table and chairs, a bedroom with exposed brick from an old cooks stove and a living area with a very cozy pullout couch. The full bath has a claw foot tub/shower that has a custom copper curtain rod and antique heirloom vanity. This is a perfect retreat for two people, but can accommodate four if necessary.
The beauty of the house not only lies in all of its charm, but also in it's location! There's a unique Whole Foods, called Greenlife, right across the street and Trader Joes is a couple blocks up from that. If you fancy yoga, Asheville Yoga Center is about three blocks away, on Liberty Street. In the other direction, a lovely greenway runs along Reeds Creek, or you can simply stroll around the eclectic neighborhood. Historic Montford, one the oldest neighborhoods (and in my humble opinion, the most beautiful), is a block away and the architecture is truly inspiring. My favorite coffee shop sits at the bottom of the street, called High Five Cafe. Don't let the hip tattooed baristas intimidate you- the coffee is delicious! Most importantly, all of downtown is just a 5-10 minute walk, complete with shopping, museums, restaurants, breweries, bars and music venues.

Historic Montford home. 3 blocks from the civic center and downtown. This is an old home in a wonderful neighborhood. The space has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with a common hallway area where you’ll find a small fridge, coffee and snacks. The larger room has a king and an air mattress is available. The space has character, very comfortable, very clean, and very convenient to all that asheville has to offer. It’s short walk to downtown, coffee shops, restaurants, bars and breweries.
Old home in historic neighborhood. You’ll have the whole 2nd floor to yourselves and access to the front yard and porch. There is a private stairwell to the second floor. There are two bedrooms, and a bathroom. In the common hallway you’ll find coffee and a fridge, 6 pack of local beers and some snacks provided. I live on the first floor. We may see each other come and go but the spaces are separate and private
Montford is just north of downtown. The Flint Street House is 3 blocks(on the same street!) from the civic center in historic Montford. This neighborhood is full of great architecture and parks.

Or you could head into downtown, 3 blocks in the other direction to find all of the eclectic shops, food, breweries and music that make Asheville worth visiting,

Great downtown location and tons of charm. Things to note: If you are traveling with 4 people, there is space to accommodate but it will be tight in the living and sleeping area, hopefully you all like each other! TV has Roku with Sling and Netflix, etc...but not local channels for some sports and such, of course tons of breweries to walk to with games showing. No pets and no smoking on premises.
First mixed residential and office street in downtown, so a bit quieter but still lots of fun activity within seconds of the apartment.

Sleep amidst stardust magic while enjoying a meaningful, convenient travel experience staying in our beautiful, historic home situated on Chestnut Hill just North of downtown. This gracious first level room offers plenty of space to relax and feel at home in the Asheville vibe. It contains a large desk, mini frig, ensuite bathroom with walkin shower, personal amenities and access to our lovely shared kitchen. Located just one block to yoga, coffee shop, restaurants, groceries & so much more.
We affectionately refer to the Stardust Sprinkles room as the “Hoon Room”, since this room is home to Galoob d’ Jah Moon The Ultimate Hoon, an imaginative character created by local artists Phil Cheney and Rob Seven, that comes to life in the form of a headdress crafted by a Ukranian seamstress. Guests will meet Galoob at home on a perch in his favorite room, the decor of which compliments his vibrant, playful spirit. The room is situated on the first floor of a large, historic home that is within easy walking distance to downtown. In the room, one finds a comfy, queen-sized bed with side tables, flat screen tv, large desk, bookshelf, closet, mini fridge and lounge chair. A spacious ensuite bathroom includes a shower/tub. Basics such as towels, soap, shampoo, misc personal items, and a hair-dryer are provided. The Hoon Room offers traditional travel amenities, is private and autonomous with an air of comfortable familiarity. Local artists contribute to the folk-artsy decor, giving it a flair that is unique to Asheville. There are no cleaning fees charged upon booking this space because we offer our guests, by default, the option to clean up after themselves. Alternatively, for a fee of $25, one of the residents will clean the space. Cleaning involves changing the sheets on the bed, taking out trash, vacuuming floors, and cleaning the bathroom, ready for the next guests. Household amenities include a kitchen fully stocked with coffee, tea and all the cooking basics and the shared use of our “circle room”, its large screen tv and half bath. We occasionally share meals with our guests. Fruits and baked goodies frequent the kitchen countertops. There is a washer, dryer, detergent and large sink in the basement should the need arise to do laundry. A cute nook off the foyer is available for lounging, as is the wraparound front porch overlooks the Blue Ridge Mountains, a lovely space for relaxing while enjoying a wonderful view of the setting sun. The shaded street contains many historic homes and makes for a lovely neighborhood walk. Downtown is half to three quarters of a mile, depending on the route taken. The atmosphere in the home is relaxed and autonomous. Four residents occupy the upper floors of the home and are readily available should a need arise. There are two Airbnb rooms on the first floor, with the other being the Stardust Sprinkles room. Guests use the front door while Residents normally use a separate entrance, offering an additional element of privacy. We offer an authentic opportunity to experience community without the commitment that one frequently finds in "intentional" arrangements. Our community is worldwide and we are aware and respectful of the fact that we live in a technological, fast-paced society. Gypsy lifestyles are now the envy of many. We are here in support of that lifestyle, but also support those individuals who choose to root themselves deeply in home life. Hence you'll find a mix of folks in this particular location. All are mature, quiet, respectful adults, busy living their lives while furthering MCA values and intentions. OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS: We are a TOBACCO-FREE property. All cigarette smoking will require that you take a walk away from the property. We have a 2-night minimum stay for weekend nights. If Saturday is already booked the requirement does not apply. We absolutely require Offline Verification since this is the method available through Airbnb that firmly establishes a guest's identity. We consider this to be a safety-related decision that ensures transparency by validating the identity of those staying in our home. Therefore, reservations will not be accepted until "Offline Verification" appears below the guest's profile. Note that we have one cat that typically stays on the second floor of the property. He is not to enter the guest rooms.
We love everything about our neighborhood!!! The street is lined with mature trees and large, older homes full of character, reminiscent of days gone by. And how could we not love the flavor brought to the area by the Yoga Center, Plant (vegan restaurant), Whole Foods, and many health-related businesses like acupuncture, massage, juice bar, float tank and other local businesses. And what would a neighborhood be without convenient shopping, of which there is plenty within very easy walking distance. If feels like we have it all, and we do. We are extremely fortunate to be here and welcome you to our little corner of Asheville. Yes Trader Joe's is a block away, as is Whole Foods and Harris Teeter.

Also there is a 10x13 bonus room for hanging out, working on computer, and eating meals. All Sheets, linens, towels, dishes, utensils, soap (not shampoo) provided. Floors are restored hardwood. Widow A/C units in summer. This is not a shared space with me or other guest, and has private entrance. There is a one bedroom apartment above this room, that is rented long term. I live in the main part of the house.
This home is less then two blocks from Asheville Yoga Center, Greenlife, Trader Joe's and all the colorful and original local restaurants, music venues and artists shops that make Asheville such an inspiring place to be!

Newly painted, and refurnished. This place is a traveler's dream. With 14 foot vaulted ceilings, huge windows with a Western View, Fully Loaded Kitchen tons of storage space and a beautiful stone fireplace, which is unfortunately only aesthetic. Your steps from everything downtown Asheville has to offer, and only a few minutes drive from hiking and historic West Asheville.
You can walk anywhere downtown to anything you can possibly need during your stay. There are amazing people all around, and the sunset is spectacular.

Welcome to the Mag House! This house has been in the family for about 10 years now, and only recently renovated. Only about a 10 minute walk from downtown Asheville, this was home to my best college friends and I. It's now a quant, clean, and cozy little home in the heart of Asheville. My best friend, Betsy, and myself currently live here. You have access to the entire downstairs, which will be shared with the two of us (minus your bed/bathroom). Can't wait to meet you!
Only a short walk to downtown ( no Ubers/Lyfts necessary if you're open to about a 10 minute walk). You have keyless access to the house. Bedroom is clean and includes speaker, projector that connects to a laptop, and newly renovated bathroom.
Montford is truly one of the most beautiful neighborhoods I've ever seen. I highly recommend walking up the street towards the greater Montford Ave, and check out all the intricate architecture in some of the homes. Just a heads up, though! We have had people break into unlocked cars, so lock your cars up, and please, please, please, lock the house when you leave if no one is home. This house is my livelihood and is jam packed with priceless family possessions

If you want an in-town experience, this is it! Perfectly situated near downtown in a quiet neighborhood, you can enjoy both the upbeat energy of downtown day and nightlife while retreating to a cozy eclectic room with en suite bath when you need a break. The shabby chic decor along with original artwork provide a truly unique space. Lots of comforting extras have been curated with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. Snack preparation area to enjoy artisan coffee and organic teas. Located in a guest wing with separate entrance, you will have privacy. Smoking permitted only outside.
Comfortable bedroom with newly updated ensuite bath (with shower) in a separate guest wing. Inviting decor to enjoy. When I was creating this guest room the most important things for me were: fresh and clean, nice ambiance (decor), firm cozy bed, with quality linens, nice hot shower with good pressure and quality towels, and an area you can make a snack and tea/coffee. The room is equipped with a small fridge, toaster oven, electric kettle and coffee maker some basics (condiments, tea, coffee) and utensils. Original art work enhances wall spaces. Air Conditioning for hot summer days. A table with 2 chairs, for hanging out. There are lots of great little extras. I am happy to stock granola, organic yogurt and milk, good coffee, fruit and if you have something you love, just ask! You have a semi-private entrance (I use the back entrance to let my pets out during the day) , so if you are out and about late, no worries. There is a true feeling of privacy in the back wing of the house. Green backyard with tables, chairs to relax - smokers welcome outside. 3 Blocks to downtown where you can enjoy shops, cafes, breweries, clubs and much more. Asheville Yoga is about 7 blocks and Whole Foods, Trader Joes about 3 blocks. Montford is really the best place to stay if you want to be close to town. Your safety is important to me - Locks on guest doors, fire extinguishers, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, safety card, motion sensor lights by entrances, and off street parking etc.. My driveway can accommodate 2 medium size SUV. If you have a very large SUV or truck you may have to park on street (where my car is). I want you to feel at home and pampered. Most of the beautiful photos were taken by an Airbnb photographer with a wide angle lens that does distort the room size. My space is unique because it is located in the Lexington Market area which is the Haight Ashbury type of neighborhood of Asheville. Guests can have a luxurious bath or show in the separate shower with 2 shower heads. Sink, plates, refrigerator, microwave and we have just added a picnic backpack with separate plates, utensil, glasses with a hot cold storage compartment for food. It even has a wine bottle cooler. For those beautiful days you just don't want to wait inside to eat, it will help you to utilize the local deli's and grocery stores. In unit laundry in case your travels become interesting and a Roku tv w/blue tooth stereo for in unit entertainment. The unit also has a dedicated parking space #B25, which is priceless downtown.
Right downtown. Half a block from 2 of the 3 vinyl record stores in Asheville. 1 block from Harris Teeter and Trader Joe's. 3 blocks from South Slope. Walking distance to breweries and eclectic (Non-corporate) local shopping, restaurants and local live music venues. ! block from Asheville Music Hall, Asheville one stop, 5 Walnut, Mtn. Madre, The Vault. Across the street from the Civic Center. 1 block from Food Lion Skate Park. Lots more within 2 blocks the entire downtown within 5 blocks.
