We will jump right into understanding the tools songwriters use to create ideas for songs. We will do this by actually writing a song together!
We'll briefly discuss ,
1. Music copy-write ins and outs.
2. Songwriting terminology.
3. We'll touch on tactics for developing your song ideas and examine tools available to you to enhance your message. If you play an instrument or sing...great but not necessary. Guests will receive a personal lyric-writing pad and an mp3 of our recorded ideas. This will be a participatory workshop into the magic of songwriting.

Cortez is friendly and available and we were able to visit a pro studio which was quite impressive for my 14 years old. 30 min talk on the way to the studio and talk at the studio, all good, but a real activity would add to this experience. like 30 minutes of course on mixing , cutting, sampling, or vocal recording. still a great experience

Coming from a songwriting background, Cortez's perspective was very inspirational and refreshing. It's always good to listen to different voices and learn different approaches when it comes to creating things. Not to mention the vibe was very laid back and friendly too!
