Au programme
In the South Egremont Village of The Berkshires, just 10 minutes away from Great Barrington you’ll be welcomed into my cozy Rüna Glassworks home studio where you will choose the color of and create a stained glass crescent moon using the copper foil technique to take home with you. Masks will be mandatory, and please do not come if you have a cough, fever, or any other cold-like or COVID-19 symptoms. We will make our best effort to stay 6 feet apart, but there are times during my demonstration and shared larger equipment use that you may be closer to someone than that! During non-Covid times max class capacity is 12. Currently it’s 6. All equipment and surfaces will be disinfected between classes.

The craft of stained glass artistry was passed on to Chevonne by her mother-in-law, Claudia. After spending weekend intensives in her glass studio in Nipomo, CA, Chevonne had the passion and interest to take up stained glass classes closer to home in Los Angeles. After a year of studying under the guidance of Claudia and her LA teachers, she was ready to start her successful venture of showing her pieces.
"After almost 20 years of my creative outlet being a professional hair and makeup artist on set, I found a new medium in glass that ignited an overwhelming artistic drive and excitement. Utilizing my extensive study and application in the salon working with color theory, shaping and design has greatly influenced the textures, balance, patterns and colors in my glass work." Chevonne now creates & teaches in her Berkshires home studio.

Your experience will take place in my art studio located on the ground level of my home with it’s own separate entrance.
This was such a fun class! Chevonne made the class super approachable, safe, and engaging. I loved learning about how she got into glasswork, the pieces she’s made and about the entire process of making the artwork! Loved this class so much and hope to do another on in the future!

So much fun and easier than we expected (a side note - we are both very experienced crafters, but we had never done anything with glass before). Lots of pretty options for moons and hanging cords to choose from, and the host was very helpful and encouraging that we all could do a great job!
