Au programme

The Cultural Riverside Cycling by OpenSkyUnlimited, have a 9 year track record offering a superb experience. This is a fully guided ride with a Certified Wilderness First Responder host. Group size are kept very small and personal for comfort and safety from 2- 4 pax maximum. We will pick you up bright and early in the morning from your Airbnb accommodation at 6.45am. Trips typically last from 6.45am to 11.30am local time.

A short 30 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur City Centre would bring you to a rustic local Malaysian Village followed by an easy going ride enjoying the cool morning by the countryside.

This is a guided bike ride and would be on very good sealed roads across some rural villages and riverside views. We would be covering a total of 20 kilometers about 1 hour cycling depending on fitness levels.

Mountain bikes and helmets will be provided.

Bring appropriate wear and equipment for cycling, daypack, spare change of clothes & towel (to be left in the car). Sunblock lotion as is may get a little sunny towards the late morning.

The dates blocked are for scheduling purposes. Do let us know among our 5 favorite trips (Dragonback Trek, Banana Waterfall Trek, Backcountry Cycling), alternate date and group size and we will try to assist. Message us via Airbnb.

I am an avid mountain and jungle trekker and also a road cycling enthusiast. An awesome adventure is always in store. I live by a famous quote “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all”. I left the concrete jungle after being in the banking industry for more than 10 years to seek a daring adventure. Currently a guide and partner with OpenSkyUnlimited.com with an established record of 9 years and counting. Having 7 consecutive Certificate of Excellence must speak a lot. We have been blessed to present beautiful Malaysia to our guests. I am also a certified Wilderness First Responder.

Really great experience especially for those who are looking to immerse into the obscure culture of Orang Asli. The cycling route was mild but may need time to get used to the bike for someone who hasn't been cycling for a while. Other than that, Ben did a great job with making sure I was safe and telling stories the rich history of Orang Asli. Had fun!

Ben is a very experienced tour guide and a real expert on Malaysia. The cycle tour started at the edge of KL and we followed a road parallel to a river. I was positively surprised about the pleasant temperature in the forest, quite different from the heat in the city. It was an easy and nice cycle and I was happy for the experience. Normally the tour also includes a visit of the museum for the indigenes people in Malaysia. However, on Fridays this museum is closed.
