See the vibrant walls of the Graff Arts collective, a fairly-hidden gem in East Williamsburg. I’ll share some of the artist's unique stories, common techniques, and the cultural roots of NYC’s graffiti scene.

Hi, I'm Ari!

I’m the founder of Made&Spotted, a Brooklyn-based experience agency offering a range of interactive events including street art crawls, creative workshops, and classes.

I’m a 5-star rated street art tour guide on both Airbnb and Trip Advisor, having now hosted thousands of guests from all over the world, both in-person and virtually.

I have documented murals in some of the world’s largest street art hubs like London, Miami, Barcelona, Philadelphia, and my home playground of Brooklyn. I've captured photography at major mural festivals and permanent art exhibitions, including Paste-Up Berlin, Wynwood Walls, MoSA, and the Atlanta Beltline Project. In summer of 2019, I also took the stage with Creative Mornings NYC to speak on public art and how it pertains to social justice and community building.

This was such a lovely experience to do on my first day in New York! It's so interesting to learn about all the different stories behind the artists, where they are from, and the messages they are trying to convey through their art! Loved hanging out with Ari and going for drinks afterwards! Really such a memorable day, would recommend 100%!

The tour was awesome, Ariel was friendly and knew what he was talking about, the location is perfect and got to learn a lot about new artists and even got to see some of them working in some street art as we walked around the neighborhood. The coffee shop was perfect and they actually served good coffee. Overall a great experience!

Really interesting and educational. It's obvious that Ariel is passionate about this community and the art that surrounds it. He was really easy to converse with and was really friendly and personable. Be wary that the description may have you expect more... it is a guided walk through a part of the East Williamsburg. You'll learn much of the stories and history behind them, including the various artists. Highly recommend if you're also into graffiti or would like to be introduced to the world behind it.

This is a super in depth tour of local street art in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, a lot of street art is becoming very commercialized, but Ariel took us to a neighborhood with authentic, raw, interesting street art. His sister Yari also came along to cohost and help take photos. It was nice taking this tour during the winter, and having such a small group. It would be fun to take this tour again in the Spring or the Summer, and see the street art being made too!
