Au programme

In this course I will show you how to up-cycle a T-shirt. You will be able to change details, give a new shape to an old piece, to create a new garment.
We will look into changing the neckline, alternating the sleeves, adding elastic and draping.
After the course, you will be able to apply this knowledge to all kinds of garment and start changing your clothes.

My name is Sophie Springer, I was born in Austria, in Vienna, a city of a long tradition of highquality fashion. 30 years ago, I came to Florence to study fashion design and specialized in bag design, learning both the craftmanship and designing. For more than 15 years I have been teaching at different international fashion schools (drapery, pattern, sewing and accessories). This has given me a lot of experience in teaching students from all over the world.
With the current situation, where it is safer for us to stay in our own homes, I wanted to offer different workshops: Handbag design, up-cycling and draping.
