Don't miss to discover the Chianti! We'll meet in Florence, or at your B&B if you ask for it, and reach together by car the starting point in Chianti area. We'll provide professional bikes and helmets for a perfect ride. We will choose the best itinerary for you according to your desires and needs, providing extra equipment if needed, like bike trailers, child seats, e-bikes.
During the ride I will explain everything about the surroundings and give you some tips for a better biking experience. You'll ride through vineyards and olive groves, on gravel paths or single-tracks if you like, into forests and through fields.
Your wheels'll roll into a painting made by nature, with you in the typical Tuscan backgruond landscape.
Finally we will finish the ride in an authentic family farm, visiting the cellars, surrounded by the unmistakable smell of the old barrels, where you'll discover how they produce the world famous Chianti Classico wine.
Then wine/food tasting in the farm, with different blends of wines, bruschetta, extra-virgin olive oil, cheese, cured meat, prosciutto. On demand, pasta or other food (not included)
Then way back to Florence by car.

Hi, this is Sam, born and bread in Florence, biker and adventurer for a lifetime and guide since 2013.
Because of my deep knowledge in Tuscan territory, Florence city and its backcountry, my 20 years of biking expertise, I can manage extreme bike adventures, but I normally organize bike trips in Tuscany to discover the country, or daily rides in Florence and Chianti area.
Me and my partners are all local bike guides.
We leaded thousands of guests to discove the Chianti farms and have super food/wine tastings, or in Florence city center to see the iconic spots and unveiling the hidden places, telling stories about the city.
We can guide you discovering Leonardo da Vinci birthplace, Medici's villas, the most ancient and beautiful Chianti castles, the National Parks, climbing the highest peaks of the Great Apennine Excursion route.

Sam was a wonderful host - he encouraged and congratulated us on the cycling and checked frequently to see where and how long we wanted to cycle before taking a break and going to the wine tasting part of the experience. For us it was a good balance of fitness and relaxation and Sam can tailored the experience to our preference.

This trip was a highlight of our time in Florence. The bike trip through Chianti hills was exhilarating and just the right amount of physical challenge for us. Gorgeous views! After biking Sam took us for coffee in a lovely Tuscan town and then, amazing surprise, to the country estate where Machiavelli wrote The Prince. We had a private tour of Machiavelli’s house and then we enjoyed tasting delicious Chianti wines with local cheese, cured meats and Tuscan olive oil. Sam is a super considerate and personable host who tailored the experience to our abilities and interests , and kept our comfort and safety in the forefront . Really this experience surpassed all our expectations and we highly recommend it. Grazie infinite Sam!

Samuele was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and the bike ride was amazing. The forest trails he took us on were super fun and the Machiavelli winery afterwards was top class. He showed us a very personal, cultural, and picturesque view of Florence that most other people wouldn't get to experience. Highly recommend his beautiful tour!
