Au programme

Our day trip will take you on a special journey; we’re going to have fun, eat well, walk in the wild, and show you our favorite parts of the National Park. We keep our groups small; you may join a few other explorers (we limit our trips at ten guests) from all over the world. We’ll pick you up in a Mercedes Sprinter van from downtown Seattle at a stop convenient to you, then we head for the mountain! We’ll stop along the way to stretch our legs and have a little breakfast, coffee and tea. In the National Park we’ll see giant old growth trees, icy waterfalls, and watch for elk, bears and birds. We’ll ditch the van to explore several mellow trails and share secrets of the volcano’s diverse ecosystems and wonder at some of the most pristine and stunning wilderness in the world. We’ll cater length and level of activity to the desires of the group. At the end of the day we’ll return you to your place in downtown Seattle!

Destinations

Our guides work closely with Mother Nature: Sunny? We take lots of pictures and walk through meadows of wildflowers! Rainy? Take shelter by walking beneath giant old trees and chase waterfalls! Snow? No problem, we’ll bring jackets and snowshoes. Some of our favorite places include: Christine Falls, Longmire and the Trail of Shadows, Paradise, Glacier Vista, and in the summer, Sunrise!

Karen was a great host/guide. The attention to detail was phenomenal. I got picked up and dropped off right in front of my Airbnb. Breakfast and lunch were delicious. The hiking was perfect.

Elk was a a great guide that made the visit to Rainier fun and interesting. The tour was with a small group (7 including me) which made it more personable too.

Our guide Elk did a wonderful job accommodating the needs of the group in terms of activity level and where we went. His storytelling was masterful and his knowledge of the locations that we went to superb. It took some time to get out to the National Park but it was well worth it from snowshoeing to magnificent trees and a gorgeous waterfall. Would definitely book another trip with them!

The day was full of breath-taking views and communing with nature. We learned a lot about the wildlife of the PNW and had an amazing time hiking trails and playing in snow in June!

I came from Texas to Seattle for two days. I booked this excursion because of the pictures but the pictures on the excursion didn’t do the reality of it justice. My tour guide was Jake. He was great. Jake was very knowledgeable and taught my group a lot on the trip. I didn’t know how cold it would be because temperatures kept changing before I left, I’ve never been to Seattle or a mountain before so I truly under packed for this trip but Jake had extra jackets and gloves for us, which he kindly let me use. Jake was a safe driver and throughout the ride kept us entertained. He took everyone’s photos for them too. This was a phenomenal experience. The pictures I took of this trip do not do what we actually saw any justice. Jake was patient and allowed the group to stop as many times as needed. If I had more time in Seattle or came back again, I would definitely book other excursions with them!
