Born and bred in Dublin, Ireland, I have spent exploring out of the way places. With my interests in the Irish language, folklore and history, I can bring you on a guided tour like no other. We can hike, bike or walk, as is your preference. I regularly take small groups on hillwalk which I plan and organise, over 3 decades. I also cycle solo or with friends and family, discovering and recording myriads of aimless meandering country roads, many of which were built around famine times. I have a ride leader certicate, REC3 in first aid, Mountain Skills training and Leave No Trace awareness trained. I am also a qualified tour guide for Dublin and the surrounding region. So you are in safe and responsible hands. I am bilingual in Irish and English and I speak a little French.

This cycling tour with your host, Ben, of the Arthur Guiness way ( and much more)! Is not to be missed! Ben will tailor the ride to your cycling ability as you take in unforgettable vistas, discover a lesser know graveyard or the final resting place of Arthur Guinness, as well as, an ancient medieval church that’s even a secret to most locals ! Ben takes photos if you wish and uses map my ride and relive so you have those memories to have with you forever. You can see where and how far you cycled! You will learn abort Irish culture, poetry, and song. Ben shared recitations of Irish poetry with me in Irish Gaelic and, he even sang a lovely Irish song in Irish Gaelic as we headed down the canal way after stopping for tea ( or coffee) and food at a really nice cafe. Ben is thoughtful, intelligent, kind, & is passionate about the land that is Ireland. You can relax and just be yourself on this tour. This is so much more than just a cycling tour. It’s an entire experience! I can’t recommend this experience enough. But, alas, enough from me - book this and see for yourself! Don’t miss this one! This is positively THE best cycling tour ive ever done: and I’ve been cycling around Ireland for some time! :-)
