Au programme

Meet up at our farm in Moss outside Oslo, no later than 11am. Coffee, tea and Gløgg (Norwegian non-alcoholic gluhwein) is served from 10am.

We prepare for walking into the Mossemarka forest, aiming for the Christmas trees and our bonfire location.

To make it back in time for the sunset, it is important that everyone is ready at 11am.

On our way to the campfire, we will look for the perfect christmas tree for your family.

When we reach the bonfire spot, the fire will already be burning, and we will gather around the warming campfire for some sausages, coffee and tea. (vegetarian options provided if you inform when you book.)

After sharing stories and a warm meal, we'll find that perfect Christmas tree for you to bring home to your family living room.

The Christmas tree is included.

We return to our farm when the sun sets around 3pm. We will provide string and help you attaching the tree to your car to bring it home.

Bring your friends, family, children and elders. This activity is the perfect pre-christmas adventure for young and old.
Other things to note:
Woolen underwear is recommended. Woolen cap and gloves/mittens.

The experience will be cancelled if the weather forecast predicts heavy rain. If the experience is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.

This is the farm and the forest where I grew up, learning the forestry trade from my grandfather.

I have been a professional lumberjack for 20 years, and know this forest like the back of my hand.

We have arranged Christmas tree excursions for 17 years.

Mossemarka forest outside Oslo is a vast privately owned forest. I love the fact that it is very close to the city, but still a proper forest with a lot of wild life and a lot to see.

Everything is within walking distance. Welcome! We are really looking forward to hosting you!

In the forest we have prepared a bonfire and picnic area, where we will enjoy a warming campfire and a small warm meal including hot beverages.

On our way back you will find, chop and bring your family's Christmas tree back to the farm.
