I've rowed across the Atlantic Ocean twice. Once I got Guinness World Record. Once I capsized in the Bermuda Triangle. Twice I rowed this very boat down the Mississippi River. I sailed an antique schooner down the coast and worked a fishing boat in Alaska. I’m a published author and working on a series of historical adventure-romance novels based in the northwest. When I'm not rowing people around I get musicians to play in the back of my boat. Check out the songs on Instagram @tinyboatsession and more pictures of the waters @rowing_urban_waterways. Check out all my projects and get a signed copy of my book at www.jordanhanssen.com

Destinations

From the shore we row to the heart of the city. We will pass under striking bridges and skirt past pretty little house boats and through a dramatic canal to arrive in an unexpected wetlands that only a rowboat, canoe and kayak can explore. We will see birds galore, beaver dens, lily pads and forest and on a sunny day see two massive mountain ranges and a fifteen thousand foot volcano look down on us.

Such an amazing experience! Thanks to Jordan for all the historical facts while we toured around. The boat ride was so magical and picturesque. Will definitely go again!

You'll love riding while Jordan rows. He's extremely attentive to guests (in a good way) and accommodate my weird needs for pickup and dropoff due to a somewhat brief SeaTac layover. He's extremely knowledgeable of the waterways, the waterfowl and Seattle history. He even answer all my off the wall questions about true crime in the area. When there was an opportunity to see an animal or bird in their environment, Jordan was so careful to make sure we didn't disturb it but was equally careful that we were able to observe it closely. Can't wait to post pictures of UP CLOSE BEAVERS to my friends!

What a fantastic way to spend a few hours out on the lake! Jordan has so much knowledge about the history of Seattle and boating on the waterways. It was relaxing and informative and I didn’t even look at my phone except to take a picture of a green heron, a kingfisher, and blue heron . The row boat was super comfortable and he was a lot of fun to talk with. What a unique way to see Lake Union and Lake Washington and the Seattle skyline. Don’t miss out on this AirBnB experience!

DO IT! This is truly such a unique experience especially with Jordan. Really, I don't think you could find anyone cooler about the history and sights. I booked this with trying to be covid conscious and see the city from a different view and I'm so happy I did. It was a beautiful sunny day that I couldn't be happier with the experience. Beyond worth it!

Really a great experience. If you are at all considering hoppin' into a boat with Jordan, do it. I'd lived in Seattle for 12 years and I went on this trip with my girlfriend who had lived in Seattle for 1 month and we both learned all kinds of exciting new things about Seattle's history and wildlife. While we learned we were treated to some stunning views and a little music by The Shedboys. Worth every penny.
