We will walk through some unique and secret vineyards of Priorat to understand the difficulty to grow vines in this corner, we will learn about the incredible history behind this valleies, we will continue visting a Premium winery to learn about the adversity to produce such a beverage in this land and obviously we will taste these amazing wines.

It's time to discover the secrets of the spectacular Priorat, a unique, beautiful, breath-taking mountainous wine that produces bold, fruit-forward, complex and concentrated wines, often from old vines of Garnatxa or Cariñena with very low yield thus explaining the premium quality.

Priorat has made its way in the wine world fairly recently, after a rural exodus, the land has literally been rediscovered, and now its landscape is facing the candidacy of the World Heritage Site for the UNESCO. And it’s just 30 min far from Tarragona!

Highly recommended! Xavi's knowledge of the area and wine, attention to detail, and the extra thoughtful touches (pictures slide show of the trip) made this a very personalized and enriching experience. Xavi was an incredible host. He was a lot of fun and gave us some great history about the region as we drove to the first winery. It was fun learning about the wines from him and from the winery host, and it was even more fun trying wines straight from the barrels. The museum house in Porrera was fascinating, and the experience there was amazing as well... beautiful views, great wines, interesting history, and fun conversations.

Xavi was awesome! He is an expert in the wine production and the Catalonia history. As a local, I was surprised by how many new things I learnt about wine and the international wellknown region of Priorat ! The visit was perfectly arranged and very comfortable all the time. The staff in the winery and the historical House were very welcome and made us feel like home. They shared so many interesting stories and excellent food with us that it feels that we need to come back to know more about this wonderful and unique region in the world.

This was an awesome experience! Xavier showed us cozy winery, where we had an ability to taste wine and buy some bottles. Moreover we have learned a lot about the procedure of winery. The second part of the excursion was in a small lovely town in Priorat in an old historical house of a famous family with a very hospitable host. We also tasted wonderful wines and had a great dinner. Highly recommend this experience! For everyone who loves wine, who loves Spain and who is looking for an awesome experience

You will not regret taking this excursion to beautiful Priorat. Xavier was exceptionally informative about the history of the region and what sets it apart from other areas/regions. He gave us a much deeper understanding and appreciation of Priorat wines. We thoroughly enjoyed the vineyards and winery we visited with Xavier. Also many thanks to Sara. We were wonderfully surprised by Xavier after the winery with the opportunity to visit a historical house/museum. The host of the house was very interesting and engaging. Xavier made this the best of tours and the best of days. I would never hesitate to recommend this tour with this gracious host.
