Intimidated by the title of the class? Don't be! Move at your own pace! Classes are catered to all levels of ability. Class begins on the sand with a land lesson that includes brief paddle instruction and discussion how to use equipment and be on the water safely. From there once students are feeling comfortable and secure we paddle out up wind and along the shore and find a safe space to drop anchor and conduct class. Students are then led through approximately 45-60 minutes of yoga poses catered to a paddle board. Then we paddle back calmly drifting down wind back to where we began, on the shoreline.

Growing up in a small coastal community I was fortunate enough to discover yoga in high school. Practicing yoga at a young age and in a beautiful place inspired a passion for movement and nature. In 2011 I completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training in Indonesia through YogaWorks then decided to further my education of the body by moving to San Diego and studying Kinesiology. After college I stayed in San Diego and continued to play on the water and got certified as a paddle bard instructor. Then my new love was found! Paddle Board Yoga, the combination of my passions: recreation and fitness!

Destinations

Class meets at the end of West Briarfield Drive where the street meets the sand on the bayside walkway. You will see a white paddle board yoga van and boards lined up on shore. We then paddle out and explore the beauty of Mission Bay.

Did this for a bachelor party with a large group and it was awesome. Everyone loved it (first time for many). Kayla and team were entertaining, helpful, and made it a very fun experience for all. Thank you!

This is a must try experience! Dana was INCREDIBLE! We connected immediately and had the best SUPyoga experience, ended up booking a second day and will rebook every time I’m in the area!

It was an amazing experience! My wife loves yoga and I try my best. I’ve always wanted to paddle board so it was a win win for us. Yoga is very relaxing and doing it in the bay takes it to another level. It was one of the most peaceful relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. Luckily for my wife and I it was just the two of us. Kayla and Dana could easily charge more. They have fun personalities and are very down to earth. Wish I could be there now. I encourage all of you to try something new.
