Au programme
Come enjoy a morning sea kayak adventure on Sydney's beautiful harbour. No engine noise or fumes, just the sound of your paddle in the water and the sea birds squawking above! We'll experience the built environs and get up close and personal with many of the harbour's natural wonders and marine inhabitants. We'll paddle to the center of the harbour where we'll get some photos of you framed by the Harbour Bridge (I'm a professional photographer in my other job so expect good pics - no charge of course!) We'll then land and explore Goat Island (Memel in the local Aboriginal Language) before paddling back via Darling Harbour. Goat Island is closed to the public and landing is by special permit only. Your permit is arranged for you and included as part of the tour.
After we're finished your welcome to have a hot shower before treating yourself to a great lunch at the famous Sydney Fish Market a short walk away. There are also lot's of excellent lunch options minutes away on the famous Glebe Point Road or treat yourself to something really special at the Tramsheds.
Our boatshed is easy to get to with plenty of free street parking nearby.
We're the only kayak tour run by qualified kayakers that use REAL sea kayaks and top notch carbon fibre paddles. HAVE A PROPER ADVENTURE!

Other things to note
Wear a long-sleeved shirt or sports top and shorts and shoes that can get wet, as well as a hat and sunscreen. Synthetic clothes are best. Bring a full change of clothes and a towel for when we finish

Destinations
We'll meet by the harbour at Blackwattle Bay. We'll kayak under Anzac bridge, along White Bay and into Darling Harbour. We'll see Barrangaroo, The Opera House and of course the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We'll paddle to Goat Island (Memel) where we'll land in a secret cove before exploring this very special place on foot. Goat Island has some of Sydney's oldest sandstone buildings, some remnant native bushland and lots of wildlife.

Active and rewarding experience whilst spending some quality time with a partner! Matt was super friendly and knowledgeable, you could definitely sense the passion within his storytelling. He taught us the ropes of kayaking - and safety was top priority. Overall we enjoyed the experience from a much different perspective of the harbour, thank you Matt!

If I could give more than 5-stars, I would. Matt kindly accepted my request to have a sunrise paddle for my partner’s birthday and we had the privilege of having basically a private tour guided by Daniel, who was the friendliest and coolest instructor we could have asked for to start the day! As a big bonus, the equipment was top notch (have I mentioned the carbon fiber paddles?). I was a bit worried about the ferries and other boats but Daniel was always clear about what to do, how to do it and when to do it to ensure that we had a great (and safe) time. He adjusted the itinerary to our level and was just as amazing a guide as he was as an instructor! Can’t recommend this enough (including the last sprint if you feel up for it! 😂). Thank you thank you thank you - you guys are the best!

Awesome kayak experience in the middle of Sydney's harbor! Got some great photos of the Sydney bridge that you can't get on land. Explored Goat Island that can only be done by permit (just this tour as far as I know). The equipment (boats & paddles) was great. Matt was very knowledgeable about the history of Sydney and all the changes that have and are still happening with the harbor. While we tried to surf some of the waves like Matt (couldn't come close), our paddling technique greatly improved due to his coaching!
