This is a walking experience which involves a method of walking meditation, contemplation and conversation. They are gentle walks where I hope you will feel fully supported whatever your age or ability. I have created these walks because I am aware that life is often a complicated or confused affair, seemingly too full or too empty and it is so easy to mislay or loose a part of ourselves and to become unbalanced in some way. My experience tells me that nature is not only our greatest teacher but also our greatest healer. The mere presence of nature can bring us back, to remember and to reconnect us with a deeper part of ourselves. To give us the strength to follow our dreams, or provide us with a solid grounding in troubled times.
I guide you through a technique of walking that will enable you to still your mind and open your heart. With practice this experience will bring to you an ever growing sense of peace, a clarity of vision and a feeling of well being into your daily life.
We can walk along crystal clear streams or rest amongst the ancient Oaks and Hawthorns, and walk further into the hills to meet with the spirit of this ancient landscape.

My first exploration into bringing people and nature together was in 1979 at a boys youth club in East London. It was a huge insight into how an interaction with nature can turn peoples life around. I was inspired firstly to train as an ecologist, followed by graduating as a Homoeopathic practitioner in 1996. Along side a busy practice I taught self development in colleges throughout the UK and facilitated courses and retreats where I combined my passion for nature with my knowledge of mind, body and spirit to enable a sense of well being. I would now like to share this knowledge with you as I guide you through this ancient landscape to meet with the Spirit of Nature.

Highlight of our trip. Not to be missed. Claire is a very special and kind lady. She truly appreciates the nature she is surrounded by and shares her insights and knowledge. I honestly didn’t notice I had walked a mountain and felt like a new person on the walk down. The barefoot experience on the bog is not to be missed. The mindful practices Claire shared will be so helpful at home. Too easy to disconnect in the hustle and bustle of life. Claire offered us tea and flapjacks on the highest point and a doggie biscuit for our Daphne which was just so thoughtful.

We had the most beautiful walk with Claire. The weather was kind, the views were spectacular, but more than that Claire led us along a path of discovering the landscape and our place in it with ease and openness. Everyone's experience of the landscape may be different but being guided by Claire's thoughtful and insightful approach will fill everyone with gratitude.

If this calls you; don’t hesitate. Claire knows these mountains intimately and took me on a journey like no other. We climbed up in rain; down in brilliant sunshine. I came down with new insights that are immensely practical and helpful. Highly recommend.

This was a beautifully serene way to spend the day. Claire is a loving, calm and connected person who with gentle purpose takes you through breathtaking vistas that are easy to reach (nothing too strenuous). My favourite part was the walking meditation in bare feet (an option, not mandatory, but I highly recommend it). A truly regenerative experience.

What an amazing experience! I really felt a connection and at peace. The walk was at my place and Claire really took the time to get to know me and ensure I got the most out of the day. I will be back later in the year.
