Your catalan culinary experience starts by meeting your chef-guide at Local Market, where you’ll take a 1hour tour of a local market. Like a fine-dining restaurant, you will create the menu, learning how to select top-quality product from the market and meeting local merchants. Then head back to the cooking school a few minutes away, where aprons, cutting boards, and chef’s knives are provided, to begin your hands-on lesson from starter to main course to cheese platter to dessert. At the end of the 1.5- to 2-hour lesson, sit down around the cozy dining table and enjoy your meal together, including local wine. Spend the next hour and a half taking your time to relax, discuss the recipes and savor the exquisite food.
