I am a freelance Licensed Tour Guide. I have over many, many years taken relatives & friends from outside Kuala Lumpur (KL) , even from foreign countries on trips to experience KL besides also Melaka, Ipoh, Penang, Langkawi, must-do places in Johor ( Tanjong Piai, for instance & the Royal Town Muar), Kuantan, Kota Bahru, Kota Kinabalu & Kuching. Personally been to all the capitals of Malaysia. So, I am pretty much familiar with these places of interests.
Been walking around to explore KL since 1972. Happily married to a KL girl who grew up in Chinatown, KL. From her stories of KL, I got to know KL like anyone who grew up in Chinatown, KL.
Jom! That’s a Malay word for “Come. Let’s Go” Walk Around KL. It will be my pleasure to show you parts where only those who grew up here ever know.

Chin Lea is such an amazing tour guide, also a wonderful individual. He not only gave the best of him out in the tour, he also kept helping me while my stay in Malaysia. I would recommend anyone to join his tour, you will get way much more than the tour itself.

Must have!Chin is so nice that I must recommend this experience to everyone! He was always taking care of us, telling us the history of China town, mosque, cathedral and so on. You can learn more about KL from him. I’ve never had an experience being to China town like this before. Not only did I have a good time today, but make a friend as well. If I come back someday, I will visit him as well.

We enjoyed a great walking trip introduction to KL with Chin Lea, and visited many sites that would have taken us ages to research and find by ourselves. It was great to have a small group - there were only 4 of us. Having breakfast in the old coffee house was very atmospheric, and there were enough points of interest and stops that the walk was a good, comfortable pace.

Chins tour was excellent. He provided us with information and a feel for KL that we could not have gotten without his tour. He really helped us understand the multi cultural aspect of KL. We loved the different restaurants, street foods and fruits that we tried. Chen was a very attentive host and was very organized. He sent us lots of pictures and information after the tour which was really helpful and took lovely pictures for us to remember the couldn't have been nicer. We would highly recommend his tour .
