Hi, I'm Thierry ! I am a Airbnb host, i have a passion for history and I love cycling. I have been cycling for pleasure and commuting in the Bois de Boulogne for many years finding many interesting places which are part of the history of Paris.

Very fortunate to live in this area, I would love to share this experience with you.

Destinations

The Grand Cascade connecting the two lakes in the Bois, the Museum Louis Vuitton designed by the architect Frank Gehry, the Castle of Bagatelle are some of the interesting spots we will see during our tour.

The ride ends at the starting point or near the Route de la reine for those who want to go in the center of Paris, 5 min with bike from starting point.

Thierry is very nice and knowledgeable about the park and surrounding area. Even though my French is mid-level, we were able to converse easily and Thierry was genuinely interested in getting to know me and my fellow riders. I had an emergency situation during the tour and had to leave early, and Thierry was understanding. I felt I had enough information about the park up until that point to know I'd like to come back. My only issue was that we spent 20 mins or so searching for a bike to use, as many were not in working condition or unavailable at the bike ports. Not sure how to fix that, except to maybe prepare in advance by collecting bikes at the meeting port. Overall, a good experience--many thanks!

Thierry was a fun, flexible & knowledgable guide. He was patient as we took time to photograph the beautiful Autumn landscape. We enjoyed a leisurely ride as well as Thierry's company.

Ours was an unusual ride. Thierry met us promptly at the appointed time and place. Then he navigated us through the bike renting process before heading off to the park. Unfortunately our party of three, plus Thierry, was perhaps a 1/4 of the way through the tour when one of us inadvertently slid into a parked car. Though her injuries were minor, the tour was at an end. Thierry could not have been more helpful at the scene of the accident, with returning the bikes and with getting me to the appropriate Metro stop while the 3rd companion got the injured party back to where we were staying. Hopefully, we can return for a less eventful but more fulfilling bike experience in the future.

Thierry met us early at the bike rental station and was friendly and enthusiastic. He did his best but we had to cut our experience short when one of the cyclists had an accident....he was very attentive and offered to continue on with the non-injured but we were a group. It would have been a great time and even by the time of the accident he had shown us great places in the Bois de Boulogne.

It was such a delight following Thierry to have this bicycle tour, I would never come here as a tourist! It was a tour about Parisian Park, buildings during la Belle Époque, castle that says"little suits me", canon relics during French Revolution, etc. I enjoyed every minute during our tour and I will recommend this to everyone who looks for live as a local experience in Paris. Five star experience. Thank you Thierry!

We had a great time with Thierry. I've been to Paris several times, but never to Bois de Boulogne, so it was definitely on my list. I am very happy that we've toured it on bike. The "Bois" is huge, so it would take at least half a day or longer to see the main sights. Thierry set a leisurely pace with frequent stops to tell the history of different spots in the park. We've covered a lot of area and a lot of history, but never felt rushed or challenged physically. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of central Paris, but still would like to experience the true Parisian life and learn about history, this is a tour to take. Highly recommended! Thanks, Thierry!
