Au programme

We will start our experience with a 10-15 minutes paddling to get everyone comfortable and balanced on the boards. After we have reached our SUP yoga spot, we will warm up our body with gentle movements and we start the practice mainly with sitting and lying down postures. Once everyone feels safe on the paddle boards, we might try to balance ourselves in standing asanas too.

We close down the class with a short floating meditation, where you can completely relax your body and mind, meanwhile you will listen to the rhythm of the waves and the noises of nature. After that, we will return to Key West Bar in Palmanova where you will be able to chill out with a beautiful view overlooking the sea.
Other things to note
You must be able to swim.
Previous yoga experience is not required.
Please wear your swimwear already when you arrive to our meeting point.

We founded “Our Yoga Mind” as a couple with the unique concept to create mindful yoga experiences on the ground (Hatha-), on the water (SUP-) and in the air (Acro Yoga). Mallorca provides us the ideal location to integrate these elements and we aim to get connected with nature through our conscious movements.
Since we have completed our Hatha&Ashtanga yoga teacher training (RYT-200) in Rishikesh, India, we think about yoga rather as a lifestyle than just a physical practice. Floating on a SUP Board has a great relaxation effect on our mind and we can completely disconnect from our disturbing thoughts on the surface of the water. Connecting our breath with our body and practicing asanas in such an environment will help us to be more balanced and grounded in our everyday life.

Destinations

We will meet at Key West Bar Palmanova (Son Matias Beach), where you will be able to leave your belongigs and we will pick up the paddle boards from. Then we will paddle to our relaxed SUP yoga spot in the sea, close to the coast, where we can get a bit more connected with the beautiful nature of Mallorca.

Unfortunately the weather was too windy and we couldn’t go on the water. Thanks to the flexibility and professionalism to deal with unexpected circumstances we had a great yoga session on the beach instead and the worlds best smoothie afterwards!

She was one of a kind instructor, she opened my eyes for a new level of serenity and wellness , the routine is a must do for all yoga and paddling lovers , she is nice , genuine and beautiful person

I very much enjoyed this experience with my partner and felt very welcome by Lilla and her team. There was strong communication throughout and multiple options to reschedule when we were forced to postpone due to strong winds. Lilla, Peter and Tom were all very friendly and, after I fell of the board being overly confident in the paddle back, even rescued my sunglasses from the ocean depths. I had a great time and would recommend this to anyone :)

An incredibly relaxing and restorative Yoga session - this experience is for anyone. • Whilst my partner and I had experience of stand up paddle boarding and yoga, it was clear from the beginning of the session that this experience is for anyone; regardless of yoga knowledge of confidence on the water. The Host • Lilla is a calm, conscientious host that starts you off by instructing you on how to use the board, before guiding you gently around the cove to a shallow area of water where the session takes place. At all times you are close to the shoreline and can see the bottom of the aqua sea floor • Lilla begins the session by explaining how to stay balanced on the board during the yoga postures. This helps a lot, particularly when moving to balancing postures. • It’s clear that Lilla has a deep and spiritual understanding of yoga. Communication • Lilla (and her partner Peter) kept us informed in advance of all classes. • We’d originally booked onto a 9am session but due to weather conditions this had to be postponed; this was not an issue as Lilla offered several options including joining the sunset session a couple of days later. • Whilst I’m sure the morning session would have been good, doing yoga, on a paddle board, at sunset - well that was quite something. Final Thoughts • Lilla kindly took photos of us doing postures on the board! • Great smoothies back at Key West Bar • A must for anyone looking to find stillness and calm in sunny Majorca.
