I take being a host on Airbnb very seriously and I’m all about offering the HIGHEST quality. When you choose my experience over others, you will have this super small and personal experience with a true local. I don’t have a HUGE operation with dozens of guides, where you never know who you are going with. This is why I have much smaller groups. Please note that due to how expensive it is to run the tour I can not take only one person on the tour. Please contact me if you are booking for just one person and I will see what I can do to make it happen. We will meet at Þingvellir national park, where the two tectonic plates, the north american and eurasian, are drifting apart from each other. Silfra is a fissure in between the two plates and has the clearest water on the planet. This makes Silfra one of the top dive sites in the world. I will help you get suited up in the drysuit and explain how to use the snorkeling equipment. Followed by a small briefing about Silfra fissure and how everything regarding the snorkel works. The activity in the water is about 25-30 minutes. After we get out of the water we walk back to the car and enjoy a warm drink and some snacks. Other things to note You must send all participants Height (cm), Weight (kg) and Shoe size (EU). This is very important so I can pick the right size of drysuit for you. Please meet me 10 minutes before the start time. If you arrive 15 min after the start time of the tour, you can not participate.

You will be taken for a guided walk with our goat bucks Gandalf, Fili, Kili and the rest of their fellowship through the beautiful surroundings of our farm. The trek starts at the goats barn and ascends into the wild farmland close by, where you’ll learn some interesting facts connected to the Icelandic goats while walking them on a lead - goats take to trekking quite easily! The walk itself is at a leisurely pace, there is no solid concrete path and it involves a bit of hill and slope walking. Please note that high heels and flip flops are not encouraged. Our hope is that this experience will allow you to reconnect with a quieter side of life, one that allows our visitors to experience nature and animals, as well as relax and release tension. It will be funny, refreshing and relaxing all at the same time, and a great picture opportunity! Other things to note: We are a small private farm so no crowds, just our family home with our animals for you to enjoy. This is a working farm and we reserve the right to make decisions for the safety of both our guests and animals. NO PETS ALLOWED, AND NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS ARE ON SITE. Children 6 years or younger go for free. You must book 12 hours or more before your tour.
Visite gastronomique de Reykjavik
We meet up in old town Reykjavik by Ingólfur Square, at the two stone pillars to start our traditional Icelandic Food Adventure. Our stops today depend on the restaurants that are operating, but we will always strive for quality. Our first stop is an excellent restaurant down by Reykjavik harbor, where we will sample shellfish soup. Then we stroll towards The original hot dog stand where we will feast on the sheep hot dog that Icelanders are becoming famous for. Our next stop is a restaurant with a focus on all things Icelandic. There we get the opportunity to feast on Iceland in a bowl, the Icelandic Lamb soup, and more. On we walk, and this time we stop at the great Café Loki for various delicacies. If a group makes a private reservation, the experience can be provided in Spanish, French, or German. Other things to note : It's a short walk between the restaurants and food stalls we visit but please wear layers as it can be chilly Our stops are handpicked and offer traditional Icelandic food. Make sure you arrive hungry! We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions & allergies.
In a one hour drive from Reykjavik, next to the village of Hella, there is a mystery to be discovered. Four man-made caves, and a still unknown story behind them. Were the caves made by the Vikings? Or during a Christian Irish settlement, before the Viking settlement? On the tour we’ll be exploring the mysterious caves, ancient and recent carvings on the walls - such as beautiful crosses and names! - while telling our forefathers stories about Iceland’s ancient history. In 2020, four out of twelve caves were opened to the public, and I’m restoring the caves to their former glory, having them all open to the public and keeping their history alive. The caves are located on my family’s farm. And the family has been taken care of the caves for nearly 200 years! Other things to note: 'The surroundings remind you of the movie sets of Indiana Jones or The Lord of the Rings. Amazing in every way.' Júlía Margrét Einarsdóttir, cultural attaché, The Icelandic National Broadcsting Service, 2019. 'Definitely an amazing place to go while in Iceland.' Eduardo Lobo, visitor

Dîner exclusif avec une famille locale
Meet us at our home in the suburbs. When you get there you will be introduced to local family life. I have four kids so our home is very lively, busy, and usually a mess. You will eat dinner with us, chat and just get to know us a little better. After dinner, we can take a walk around the lake in our backyard, play board games or just sit down in the living room to keep talking and have a cozy time together. Other things to note We are inviting you to our home so no two dinners are the same. What we promise to provide is a very local experience and hopefully a friendship.
