We offer the perfect Santa Cruz getaway! Attached to our historic farm-style family home is this beautiful,private, sunlit studio-room which offers its own private entrance,large bathroom with shower/tub. Equipped with a mini-fridge, coffee maker and microwave. BBQ available too! Offering a cozy Queen size bed, a twin size air mattress and use of a pack-n-play if traveling with your family.
This room is ideal for guests who are visiting Santa Cruz for the surf, beach volleyball, hiking, beach and Boardwalk fun!!
The space can comfortably accommodate 2 adults and a small child.
This room is carpeted. Stains are visible however we regularly shampoo it every 3-6 months as most of our guests are here enjoying the beach and the outdoors.
No TV, however we do offer high-speed wireless internet great for streaming movies and music to your own laptop or tablet.
Laundry mat is around the corner next to the best Taqueria in town!

Everything is set up as private as possible!
Check-in is 3pm. Check-out is at 11am. (Flexible with proper planning and notice)
Upon arrival we will welcome guests, provide keys and a visitor parking permit for street parking. After check-in is complete we will be available to answer any question via Airbnb message.

We are a young, busy, active family. We generally keep to ourselves and offer our guests all the privacy possible. However, whenever possible we are happy to offer our guidance for family fun throughout Santa Cruz as we were both raised here. We will refrain from being "tour-guides" but would love to share all this very special town has to offer with our enthusiastic guest(s).
Upon request and with enough notice we would be happy to show our guests some of our favorite local spots close by!
*The Transient Occupancy tax for Air B&B rooms in Santa Cruz County is 11%. This is included in your your nightly room reservation fee.
*We accept "Pay-Pal" payment.
*Room Deposit is taken care of by AirBnB if a claim is filed
*Optional equipment deposits cover lost, stolen or damaged property.
*We provide a visitors parking permit for on-street parking only. Parking is limited on the weekends which may result in guests having to search for parking around our block.
*This is a family home. Respect, safety, trust and privacy are very important to us . . . this is a place for common courtesy. Neighborhood noise levels are moderate during daytime hours.
* Some noise will be heard as there is a common wall. We appreciate low noise levels in the early morning and at night.
***Absolutely no illegal drugs.
***No smoking of any kind inside the room or on the deck (this includes Vapor pens). If you do smoke, we kindly ask you take a nice walk around the surrounding area.
No visitors, registered guests only
Normal noise hours are appreciated. We understand if our guests are getting up early to catch the good surf, or coming home late from a fulfilled family day at the beach and boardwalk. But we kindly ask that our guests remain very quiet between 9pm-7am.
We are a family of four who enjoys hosting Airbnb guests in our private studio room! We enjoy travel to Hawaii, Mexico and of course California!
