Two to three minutes walk to vibrant town centre shops and restaurants.
Ideally located for exploring the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Brecon Beacons and beyond.

The house has two bedrooms, the main bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is a separate lounge, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom.
Bed linen and towels are provided, they are 100% cotton.
The property benefits from smart lighting and many of the lights are dimmable.

This is a perfectly beautiful little townhouse, centrally located on a quiet street with some parking. You are only a few minutes' walk from the shops, pubs and other amenities on the high street, and even closer to a nice bakery and a greengrocer's shop. The owner has done a fabulous job of renovating the place from top to bottom, and everywhere you look there are lovely things to see and experience: oak floorboards; rustic terracotta kitchen tiles; thick, attractive carpets everywhere else; lovely, large, slate-like tiles in the huge bathroom which as an elegant bath as well as a good-sized shower with first-rate fittings; comfortable beds; sash windows that slide freely; beautiful joinery in the kitchen and bath; excellent lighting and heating; you name it. I really can't fault the place at all. It's delightful. My wife and I had a great four days there on a walking holiday from Wiltshire. If we were to come to Monmouth again, I think we would first see if 31 St. Mary's St. was available to rent before we chose our dates of travel.

Great visit at Chris's townhouse. Everything was clean, the house was well stocked and the FRESH FLOWERS an added treat. The stairs were a bit of a challenge for the 60 and 70 year olds in the group, but the well thought layout of the rooms helped. Tons of information from Chris about the area was a huge help. Quaint bakery just down the street served a welcome breakfast. Many shops, restaurants and activities within walking distance. This unit is just as advertised. You can't go wrong here.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at this lovely apartment central to Monmouth town centre. It suited us perfectly as it is very spacious, clean and had a well equipped kitchen as we like cooking. It was a very good base to stay as we visited: Chepstow, Tilturn Abbey, climbed the Kymin and went up the Symonds Yat Rock! Throughly enjoyed ourselves and we would definitely recommend this place and would come back again. Thank you so much Chris for all your tips and suggestions.

I live near Chepstow and renovated the house in Monmouth with a friend, after buying it at auction. It was a huge challenge and very enjoyable.
I work as a freelance structural engineer mainly with bridges and steel structures, but doing less of this now.
In my spare time I love to travel and explore places with my partner Lynne, and love skiing especially the bumps and off-piste.
