Koselig hytte avsidesliggende i skogen! Lett å samarbeide med Per-Ivar, hytta var som beskrevet. Trivelig! :)

We enjoyed our stay besides a few problems. The burning toilet was something to get used to, we had some problems with it which made our first day tricky, but our host helped us figure it out. The burning smokey smell is present in the house and backyard after using, but it's not unpleasant. The cabin was as described close to hiking and stores, easy to find and get to. There was a lot of farmland around, so some trails in the area suddenly were in a farm/road/logging area. We stayed 7 nights and with the choice of hiking from the cabin, 4 nights might have been better. But we had a car and did some day trips to Hadeland and Brandbu (Lokstallen restaurant was amazing!)

Thank you for the review. I'm really sorry about the temporary failure with the toilet pipe, and I'm glad that we had it fixed quickly. Normally there is no smokey smell inside the cabin. When it comes to trails there is a orienteering map in the living room. There is a couple of good trails going into the forest behind the cabin and up to some beautiful view points and sights a couple of kilometres away. They may be a bit difficult to navigate if you don't bring the map. So if you come back some day I'll show it to you. Thank you anyway for staying and I'm happy that you enjoyed it!

Me and 7 other friends spent our Easter holiday at this cabin. It was a very cozy place, clean, equipped and we had an enjoyable time. The host was very reachable by phone and provided us with answers for every question or situation that came up. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Great cabin for a weekend getaway! Near Oslo and the airport - convenient accessibility and great communication. The cabin is cosy and in the nature, perfect for a family weekend. I would stay there again.

I'm a technology reporter in the Norwegian news magazine Technology Weekly. My lovely wife is a video reporter in NTB, the national news agency.

We have two wonderful boys (3 years and 6 years old). We love to travel, both as a couple and often with the boys. Travelling for us is seeing interesting places, meeting nice people, enjoying good food and stroll around. It could be café life or nice nature - we like it. Now and then we also go on job and business related trips as journalists.

When we're off work here in Norway we play around with the kids in our garden or in the calm neighborhood of Vaalerenga in Oslo. In the weekends we often go trekking or biking in the beautiful surroundings of the capital of Norway. In the winter time we love to go cross country skiing in the snowy hills of Oslo.

I was advised to check out Airbnb by a journalist colleague. Both I and my wife are calm and polite. We promise to be careful with your home. Since we are new to this concept we still haven't rent out our own place. But there is a time for everything.
