When in Norway do as the Norwegians - go to the cabin. Only 45 minutes drive from central Oslo or 35 minutes from Oslo airport you find this gem in the beautiful Nordmarka forrest. A true cycling and hiking paradise in the summer and cross country skiing paradise in the winter.
Much of the cottage is newly refurbished . We love the place. We are quite often there ourselves and kindly ask you to take good care of it. Feel like your at home but leave the cabin as sound, clean and tidy as it was when you arrived . It includes vacuuming and washing floors and bathroom / toilet. Kitchen and equipment cleaned and dried. Thank you.

I'm a technology reporter in the Norwegian news magazine Technology Weekly. My lovely wife is a video reporter in NTB, the national news agency.
We have two wonderful boys (3 years and 6 years old). We love to travel, both as a couple and often with the boys. Travelling for us is seeing interesting places, meeting nice people, enjoying good food and stroll around. It could be café life or nice nature - we like it. Now and then we also go on job and business related trips as journalists.
When we're off work here in Norway we play around with the kids in our garden or in the calm neighborhood of Vaalerenga in Oslo. In the weekends we often go trekking or biking in the beautiful surroundings of the capital of Norway. In the winter time we love to go cross country skiing in the snowy hills of Oslo.
I was advised to check out Airbnb by a journalist colleague. Both I and my wife are calm and polite. We promise to be careful with your home. Since we are new to this concept we still haven't rent out our own place. But there is a time for everything.
