Need time far away from noise and bustle? This rustic log cabin is a calm space for a retreat for a small group, or just for you. Outside of Roscoe and 20 minutes up a dirt road to the mountain, you'll have left civilization behind - success!

Welcome to The Mountains. This home was built by my grandparents in 1987 with love and attention to detail.
This is a beautiful mountain retreat to get refreshed and rejuvenated - leave civilization behind for a few days - while still living in a fully functional home.
A long, winding mountain road leads to the driveway - it takes 20 minutes just to get up the mountain!
The door opens directly into the kitchen, the living room has open, lofty, ceilings. There are two bathrooms, a master bedroom and two sleeping spaces in a loft. There is a back porch to enjoy the views of sunset, stars, mountains and valleys and enough sleeping space for between 2 -6 people (3 full-size beds, 1 comfortable-enough couch).
Fully functioning kitchen, gas grill on porch, a grinder and French press for coffee in house.
Expect to see deer, sunsets, mountain views and a calmer face in the mirror when your time is complete here.
Stay aware at night, you are in the mountains, and there are animals.
Accès des voyageurs
You have access to the entire living space of the house and land.
The shed and basement are not available to guests except for laundry.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
We will not be present upon your arrival but will have given you all of the information you need to begin your stay.
We are available by phone or email at all times, and we have a friend and care-taker on the mountain to help with any issues that require immediate help.
Please use the messaging option to be in touch with us about your dates so we can confirm.
No Smoking inside.
Please properly clean up any grilling you do, as the bears have been known to visit.
Children are welcome, but there are no protections around the pond or the entrance to the basement and the stairs of the cabin are slippery in socks.
We expect our guests to respect the property, nature and our neighbors.
Do not leave garbage outside (bears like food)
Please take your trash when you leave.
