I often travel, so you will likely need to make due on your own for finding your way around the city and such. However, regarding the suite I am usually a text or phone call away. I appreciate communication. Please message me if anything doesn't seem right, or questions. I hate to learn about something bothering you in a review. By that time it is too late.
The upper unit will be occupied be owner occupied.
This is a basement room and there is a unit above that is occupied.
Also the HVAC unit is in the basement and can be loud. IF YOU SLEEP LIGHT ....this may not be the best accomendations for you.
There is no fridge and there is no closet.
The water from the sink is safe for drinking.
Sofa sleeper is a full size. Extra sheets and pillows are on the shelves next to the sofa sleeper.
*** PARKING **** THERE IS NO PARKING INCLUDED WITH THIS SUITE. Street parking is at your own risk. My experience lends that this street is not majorly ticketed but it can happen. There is only street parking with some streets in the vicinity with Monday-Friday while others Monday - Saturday. It is unmetered for 2 hours. Hours include 8:30AM-8:30pm OR 8:30AM to 10PM. The closet parking garage is near NOMA Metro.
We are about a 10 minute walk to Noma RED Line metro.
Check in is after 4PM and Check out is promptly at Noon.
The property is monitored externally.
ADDENDUM – Rental Rules
1. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the unit. OUT the back doors there is a smoking container for your butts. Please use. IF one cigarette , or any signs of smoking - by accepting this reservation you acknowledge your entire security deposit + cleaning fees are your responsbility.
2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above and in this reservation may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest booking.
3. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
5. Do NOT ANSWER the door unless you are expecting a Visitor.
6. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
7. Pets are NOT allowed.
8.Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. If you need additional cleaning, please do not hesitate to engage the Owner. You will directly pay the approved cleaners. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.
9. Absolutely no parties!
10. DO NOT place any items outside the door(s). Please take trash to the trash bins located in the parking pad.
11. Take care to lock door behind you. :).
12. Close windows in your room when you are away to prevent rain and wind damage.
