Hale A Ka La (House of the Sun) is a special villa that offers peace and privacy with home comforts and convenience in a beautiful tropical setting! It fronts directly on the Waikoloa Beach Golf course, with back views of distant mountains. The lovely, island-inspired décor, with original paintings is roomy and comfortable and it is ready to become your home on the Big Island…offering so much more room and privacy then hotels or time shares.
The 2-story villa has 2 lanais, soaring 19 ft. vaulted ceilings downstairs with expansive windows creating an open, airy feeling. This quality villa is spacious with over 1400 sq. ft floor space and features a brand new 60" flat screen "smart" television. It is quiet and private with no neighbors above or below and is only steps to one of the two pools (without the noise of being too close). The open kitchen features granite countertops and top-end appliances. The 2 bedrooms have comfortable, foam topped mattresses and new flat screen "smart" televisions. The luxurious master suite has its own lanai and a large, private bathroom and a king bed. The guest bedroom features an adjoining full bath. There is an exclusive parking space steps from the door and the private lanais are perfect places to sit for coffee or wine with an unobstructed view of the 10th tee of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Couse.
We offer FREE INTERNET, CABLE T.V., DVR, and AIR CONDITIONING. Also for your use is beach gear, including chairs, towels, and boogie boards and a library of island information and paperbacks.
LOCATION: The villa is at a premier location in the Waikoloa Colony Villa Resort gated complex, which has it’s own Jacuzzi spa, fitness center and tennis courts. It is within the world destination Waikoloa Beach Resort with lovely A-Bay Beach, the Kings and Queens shopping centers, many good restaurants and the Marriott and Hilton Waikoloa Beach Resorts. The central location on the South Kohala Coast features an average of 350 days of sunshine a year and temperatures in the 70s and 80s, only varying an average of 5 degrees from summer to winter. Waikoloa Beach Resort has everything you need for water sports - snorkeling, dive boats, whale watch boats, equipment rental stores and more.
The island’s best beaches are close by with A-Bay a 5 minute drive and many world-class beaches a short drive from the resort, including Hapuna State Beach. The beautiful, warm ocean waters feature turtles, dolphins and whales (December-March). Water adventures from snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, fishing and sailing/whale watching/snorkeling cruises are available from the resort. We have many world-class golf courses: 2 within the complex and 7 more within a short drive-a golfer’s paradise!
You will be at a central point to explore the fantastic Big Island with adventures in every direction from the Volcano National Park to Waipio Valley. For your personal shopping there are Costco, Walmart, Target and Safeway and several other national big box stores in Kona, as well as 3 nearby shopping centers.

Kona Coast Vacations manages over 195 condos, homes and estates along the leeward (dry and sunny) side of Hawaii Island (same name as the State). There are numerous islands that make up the State, with most of the population residing on Oahu (Honolulu), Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island.
We are located on the Kona Coast of Hawaii Island, right in Kailua Kona which is about 10 minutes south of the KOA (Kona) international airport. Most people include Kailua Kona, Keauhou, Kahaluu, and Holualoa, under the umbrella of the name Kona. We also have team members living near the resort area (about 25 minutes north of the airport) which include Mauna Kea, Mauna Lani, Hali'i Kai, Waikoloa Beach Resort (near the coast), Waikoloa Village (up mountain, about 15 minutes from the coast), etc.
Our team of inspectors check the property before your arrival, after you depart, and we inspect the cleaners. If something is amiss, please let us know immediately on arrival and we will address your concerns ASAP.
We are open seven days a week to assist guests and owners. We offer a concierge service, we have maps and recommendations on our web site and are here to answer your questions.
