We are within a five-minute walk of both the The Aquarium, the largest in Europe, and Porto Antico, the touristic port district restored by Renzo Piano. The Principe Train Station is about a 10-15 minute walk, and all the museums of the Strada Nuova are closer than that.
The neighborhood is pretty quiet, but the lively university quarter around Via Balbi is very close, and on foot you can also reach also Piazza Erbe cafe area just as easily.
Our flat has 6 rooms with 90 square meters, a typical unit in Genoa's ancient buildings. It is located near a corner of the Sottoripa, the long colonnaded arcade along the touristic port area, near the Cathedral of San Lorenzo and the historical center.
The main square of Genoa, Piazza De Ferrari, is only a 10-minute walk away, and two metro stops are also very close: the San Giorgio and Darsena stops. Buses run from and to Piazza Caricamento and Piazza Nunziata, both about 5 minutes away.
Rooms include a little bedroom for you and a living room with a sofa bed and also an armchair which can serve as a single bed. Furnishings are not elegant but are very cozy and clean, with a CD and DVD player. The little bathroom is modern, with toiletries and a hairdryer, with towels and bathrobes included.
Benefits also include a flat-screen TV in the living room, but only Italian channels, and facilities for making tea and coffee.
You can use the kitchen if you want without any problem.
Wireless internet is available for free.
