I really enjoyed staying at Victor's - The location is perfect, 10-15 min walking to the old town centre, direct connection to airport in less than 30 minutes (the underground/metro exit is right in front of the entrance to the building). Direst connection to the beach as well. The apartment is great, with an oriental theme, good lighting system both in the living room and bedroom to suit the different moods at nights, working air conditioning, good wifi, good large TVs both in the living room and bedroom. The highlight is of course the terrace, actually 3 of them, the main one from the living room is fantastic for winding off at night. The kitchen is well equipped although we never used it expect for the fridge. The neighborhood is very good, with cafes just downstairs for the day, and at 2 minutes walking open till late. There are also bakeries, supermarkets and all one might needs within minutes. I didn't meet personally Victor as he was away, but I was greeted by Sebastian who was very kind and showed the apartment and all. Victor contacted me nearly every day via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) asking me if I needed anything.
I would definitely stay again at Victor's and I recommend this property.
To go to the beach take the metro eastbound to to Marítim - Serrería (line 5 or 7) + direct switch of platform with the same ticket to tram 8 to the last stop Marina Reial Joan Carles I about 5 minutes away - (please note, for those using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map, the tram line is not shown on the map, I suggest to download a full map of metro+tram of Valencia}.
The most convenient underground/metro ticket for those like us who do not have one of those top up electronic card (like oyster in London) is to buy a 10-single journey ticket, that can be used by more people in the same time, by touching in and out by every everyone travelling. Note, the Metro tickets include the tram BUT NOT the buses, for which you need to buy tickets at any tabacco shop you see around, if you don't like walking. We did use the metro but not the buses except the first day when we took the number 2 bus from around the corner to go directly to the beach.
If you enjoy a pastry and a coffee/cappuccino there is a bakery/cafeteria open 24 hours at 5 Carrer de Guillem de Castro, just 3 min walking. Delicious(URL HIDDEN)
Enjoy your stay.
