Super central apartment in an eclectic neighborhood, only 18 minutes walking distance from Nørreport Station (city center) and the big shopping street Strøget, or 5 minutes with inner city busses 5A, 3A and 350s. Right next to Sankt Hans Torv, Søerne (the Lakes) and Assistens Kirkegaard. Plenty of cafés and bars that stay open well into the night unlike the more tourist/shopping areas where almost everything shuts down at 17.
Great eating options nearby as well as two supermarket chains around the corner if you want to use the kitchen. Huge variety of cuisine including Denmark's only Michelin awarded Thai restaurant: Kiin Kiin. Empire cinema one of the few remaining "non chain" cinemas is right next door if you want a quiet night after all the sightseeing.
The apartment was newly renovated a few months ago and is a traditional Copenhagen apartment (1 bedroom, kitchen and living room, bathroom). With the one exception that it has a complete bathroom (most bathrooms in the city have a shower head above the sink and thus no separate shower). There is a court yard where you can use the grill.
Here is what Visit Copenhagen Says about Nørrebro:
Nørrebro is a vibrant area of Copenhagen only minutes away from the city centre. Trendy bars and fashionable designer shops lie next door to dodgy dive bars and cheap kebab places. The people here are cool and casual and so is the neighborhood.
Elmegade is full of small designer shops, and in Ravnsborggade antique shops are lined up. Sankt Hans Torv and the streets around it is the place to be for dinner and drinks. And at Assistens Kirkegaard you can visit the grave of famous Danes or do like the Nørrebro citizens and relax in the park like area.
