You will not be disappointed!

Your island home is situated on the ocean side of the second floor of a triplex building - Pu'uwai O' Kahalu'u (in the heart of Kahalu'u) There is easy access from the garage to your unit. Everything is new and pristine, with air-conditioning in the living area and ceiling fans throughout. Fully stocked kitchen and 1,100 square feet plus 350 square feet in covered lanais with ocean/beach views. Sleeps up to 6 people with 1 queen bed in each bedroom, and a daybed with 2 twin mattresses in area between dining and living rooms. Fall asleep to the sound of the surf!

Walk across the street to Kahalu'u Beach Park - the premier snorkel and surf spot on the Island. The neighborhood has several board rental shops and the next door neighbor runs a surf school. Snorkel gear available to rent at the beach. Located less than 1 mile away are shops, restaurants, a movie theater, grocery store, drug store, and Keauhou Urgent Care – hopefully not needed. Less than 2 miles to Keauhou Bay Pier, the departure site for various activities including swimming with the Manta Rays. Kona Country Club has re-opened less than a mile away and Makalei Golf Club boasts a challenging course with expansive ocean views, reasonable prices, and is located just 10 miles away.

This is a No Smoking, No Pets Property.
There is a 3 Night Minimum, 10 Nights during Ironman and Christmas.

Great place. Spotless when it comes to cleanliness. Situated right acrossed the street from snorkeling beach. Great area for running and swimming beaches close by. Passed all my expectations. Wonderful place and will stay again. We prepared a few meals here and had everything we needed. The grill was in top condition. Plenty of dishes and pans and all in great condition. Two thumbs up from us.

Very clean place with lots of amenities. Great location right across to one of the best snorkel places on the island. The place is kept very updated. It has all what you need and more.

The whole point of staying at a beach house it to enjoy the beach. But the beach is closed for up to 6 months due to a raw sewage pipe that is broken. The beach and water is completely closed with lifeguards turning people away. My wife and I loved the house... It's gorgeous! But would I pay for a beach house knowing that the beach is closed???? No! It seems almost criminal to use the beach and water to attract renters when you know the beach is closed and the water full of raw sewage. Again, great house, great location... But sewage spill. Really?

Aloha Paul, We are sorry that Kahaluu Beach has been closed. At the time of your booking, about four days from arrival, there was no issue with the beach. The county may close beaches for numerous reasons such as high surf, rain water runoff (brown water), monk seal sightings and other reasons. The first reports at the end of Feb said it was going to be closed for a day, then they reported it might a few days, and now it appears that the beach will be closed for a longer period so the County can replace the sewer pipes. Unfortunately, they do not inform the residents of such issues other than through news reports, or until you get to the beach ( that is why lifeguards' had to tell you it was closed). There is another beach about a mile away called Magic Sands or Disappearing Sands, as well as Keauhou Bay which is about 6 blocks away. We will mention this to our future guests but there are numerous beaches on the island that are still accessible. Thanks for commenting on how great the house and location are, we agree.

Great spot, nice accommodations! The beach across the street is supposed to be great for snorkeling, and looked beautiful! (Closed for a sewage leak while we were there though, bummer!!) Lots to do nearby though, we loved our stay!

Close to beach park, nice views, clean and large place to comfortably fit 6 ppl. Short drive to town for food, shopping and entertainment.

Thank you very much for an excellent stay here on Big Island! The Airbnb was not only very comfortable for 6 guests, but also was equipped with everything we needed. Great location across the street from the beach and close proximity to Kailua Kona, shopping center, food, and entertainment. The concierge makes sure you have everything you need prior to the trip and they communicated well via email. My whole group enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having us! I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family visiting the island in the future.

Kona Coast Vacations manages over 195 condos, homes and estates along the leeward (dry and sunny) side of Hawaii Island (same name as the State). There are numerous islands that make up the State, with most of the population residing on Oahu (Honolulu), Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island.
We are located om the Kona Coast of Hawaii Island, right in Kailua Kona which is about 10 minutes south of the KOA (Kona) international airport. Most people include Kailua Kona, Keauhou, Kahaluu, and Holualoa, under the umbrella of the name Kona. We also have team members living near the resort area (about 25 minutes north of the airport) which include Mauna Kea, Mauna Lani, Hali'i Kai, Waikoloa Beach Resort (near the coast), Waikoloa Village (up mountain, about 15 minutes from the coast), etc.
Our team of inspectors check the property before your arrival, after you depart, and we inspect the cleaners. If something is amiss, please let us know immediately on arrival and we will address your concerns ASAP.
We are open seven days a week to assist guests and owners. We offer a concierge service, we have maps and recommendations on our web site and are here to answer your questions.
