UNIT ACCESS There is a lockbox on the door of the unit with your key inside. There will be another set of keys inside along with other information you may need. Please return the key to the lockbox on your door at your departure, please don’t forget to spin the code if applicable.

CLEANING Each property will be inspected and professionally cleaned after your departure. The cleaning fee you have paid will provide for a complete normal cleaning of the property. You are required to leave the property in the same general condition that you found it by making sure the home is generally picked up and ready to be vacuumed and cleaned. If excessive departure cleaning is necessary, an appropriate charge will be
deducted from your security deposit at the rate of $35/hour.

QUIET HOURS For the entire property are from 10:00PM until 8:00AM. At all times, please be considerate of others when adjusting the volume on TVs, Music etc.

POOL, JACUZZI Pool hours are 9:00AM – 9PM. For your safety and enjoyment, we ask that you observe the following rules as being strictly enforced:
-CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE JACUZZI
-No running or jumping in the pool
-Ball playing/paddle ball is not permitted in the pool
-Please use plastic containers for beverages-NO BOTTLES OR GLASS
-Please remove suntan oil and sand at the outdoor shower prior to using the
pool or Jacuzzi
-Babies MUST wear diapers that are specifically made for the pool

FOOD PLEASE DO NOT leave garbage, open food or dirty dishes inside or outside of your unit, as this will quickly attract insects.

SMOKING This building is non-smoking, this includes the lanai. Areas that are set up for smoking are located on the East end of the property by the barbeques and on the West end of the property by the carwash stations. Please properly dispose of all smoking materials and do not discard on the grounds.

ROOM SUPPLIES Each unit is provided with an initial supply of dishwasher, laundry soap, paper towels and toilet paper. Once the initial amount is used, guests are responsible for purchasing their own supplies. No food provisions are supplied.

INTERNET AND BASIC CABLE Each of our units offers free Wi-Fi and basic cable. The network name for the Wi-Fi is COASTAL followed by your unit number all in small case. The password is wirele22. If you are having trouble accessing the Internet please do not attempt to change the Internet settings. Call Oceanic time warner cable @ (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and they can walk you through any problems.

GARBAGE CHUTES Are across from the unit numbers X09 and X10 on the upper floors. The first floor garbage room is located to the left of the front entrance. The Ma’alaea Banyans promotes recycling efforts on Maui and has bins for recycling glass, plastics and aluminum in the first floor garbage room. The doors to the chutes and garbage room are locked from 9:00PM to 8:00AM

LANAI RAILINGS Please do not hang any items from your railings

SEPTIC SYSTEM IMPORTANT PLEASE
-DON’T FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER DOWN THE TOILETS. EVEN IF IT SAYS IT’S FLUSHABLE.
- IF ITS NOT TOILET PAPER DON’T FLUSH IT.
-IN THE EVENT OF A CLOG YOU WILL BE BILLED IF THE PLUMBER FINDS IT TO BE YOUR FAULT

SURFBOARDS/PADDLEBOARDS/WINDSURFERS Should be stored on the roof rack of your car or inside your unit. They cannot be kept on the lanais or in the hallways.

BARBEQUE GRILLS are located East of the pool area. The grills are equipped with gas. No charcoal is permitted. Please brush off the grill and clean up the area when you are finished. Be sure to shut off both gas control knobs. No other common areas may be used for cooking. It is against the Hawaii State Fire Code to barbeque on the lanais or within 15 feet of the building.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: DO NOT DEPART FOR HAWAII WITHOUT TAKING ALONG YOUR PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS OR SAVED IN YOUR EMAIL/PHONE. Phones run out of power, its best to have it printed.

Check-in time is 4PM (HST). Check-out time is 11AM. A late check-out option is available at an additional charge of 50% of the daily rate + tax. (Based on availability) Upon departure please insure that all doors and windows are locked, A/C AND lights are off. Return the key to the lockbox. There will be a $75.00 for each lost key.

If you want a great location, this is your spot. 15 minutes from the airport and very central to most everything on the island. Pool and spa are great (and quiet) and BBQ access made life easy. There were a ton of crabs and sea turtles right off the lawn of the condo too - so special. We also loved having access to a dishwasher, washer and dryer and a workable kitchen. My feedback here is that while the home photographs well and is listed with AC, it's incredibly hot (the AC doesn't really work) and is dirty. We noticed lots of stains on curtains, the couch and bed spread. I would also recommend that you bring your own towels, as what is provided is minimal and quite gross. Backsplash is cracked and broken, sink in the bathroom is off kilter. Things were just slightly off, and it made it a little uncomfortable. The condo is adorable - if you don't look too closely. Just felt like it hasn't had a great clean and needed some serious maintenance.

My partner and I stayed at Kristines during our first visit to Maui. Communication and check in was extremely easy and simple, Kristine was a great host. The apartments are waterfront and offer great sunset views. The location was in close proximity to everything on the island and walking distance to a marina and a general store which was great. The apartment was really well renovated and clean and would recommend this listing as a great base to explore Maui.

Decent location, well furnished home with a great kitchen. It is close to both sides of Maui. Now, the floor needed cleaning and mopping, which we ended up doing. The bed linen was dirty and thankfully there is a washer. Also, If you plan to be here in summer when the temperature goes above 90, note that there is one window AC unit in the living room. It will be hot for a while before the home cools down by the breeze. We ended up sleeping in the floor the first day before we figured out the ventilation and had them cooler the next several days. If your party is more than two people, ask for an air bed or a foldable bed as the sofa is not pull out and there isn't one. The host is very responsive.

No good phone service. Had to call because I couldn't pull up email with information, didn't get an answer until I texted. Also told her about the many roaches in the house but was just told that they will die later. Beautiful view, very quiet.

Ich würde es nie wieder buchen!! Es war so dreckig - ekelhaft! Das Bettzeug, die Handtücher hatten Flecken und rochen sehr streng. Ich kaufte Swifer Feuchttücher und verbrauchte alle 16 Stück. Danach war das Apartment ein wenig bewohnbar. Wir fühlten uns überhaupt nicht wohl da ständig Ungeziefer an der Wand krabbelten. Die Klimaanlage ist zwar vorhanden, nur funktioniert sie leider extrem schlecht es war unerträglich im Schlafzimmer. Die Matratze ist so weich dass man total versinkt und mit Rückenschmerz nächstens Tag aufwacht.

This place has an exceptional view that is worth every penny. There is everything included here that will make you stay very pleasant so don't worry about booking. Highly recommended.

We loved the location and mellow vibe of the condo! Right next to the Maalea harbor made it convenient for us to cruise to Lahaina and Wailea and all over Maui. Kristine was totally accessible and helped right away when I reached out to her for a problem. I give the place 4 stars because of two things. 1. The only bed is very, very soft and warped feeling. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch the last few nights for some support. I even tried sleeping sideways but only right in the middle was manageable. This would be a deal breaker for someone with back issues. 2. The condo is in need of a proper deep cleaning. The curtains, baseboards, freezer, couch upholstery, and nooks and crannies have been neglected. There are also a few small holes along the kitchen and bath allowing space for critters to invade. Nothing crazy the place was clean but it's something we noticed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! It doesn't get much better than Maui for a lovely vacation. Cool condo and good value! Thanks!
