The Beach House in the Trees is part of the Paradise Regained properties and is a large rustic, self-contained studio loft among the swaying palms, with panoramic views of the Caribbean ocean, access to the Paradise Regained beachfront and some of Utila's best reefs, excellent snorkeling and a saltwater swimming pool. Our triple bunk sleeps 3 and we can add a comfy bunk bed cot with mattresses that sleeps 2, for a total of 7 guests (extra charge over 2 guests). Utila’s family vacation spot!

Le logement
Your studio loft is a rustic retreat, perched high in the trees to take advantage of the westerly trade winds. Fall asleep listening to the waves on a full bed, and your family and friends will enjoy the triple bunk bed, or double bunk to sleep up to 7. You will love the seating area with views of the ocean, a small kitchenette/eating area, a shower that overlooks the ocean, and free wifi. The large windows allow for the tradewinds to fill your room, and there are also fans on every bed to help keep you comfortable.

Accès des voyageurs
Sand beneath your toes, the sound of the waves lapping on the reef, palms swaying in the wind … these are just a few delights to be found at Paradise Regained. Grab your snorkel and mask and from our own private steps dip into the warm Caribbean ocean. A short swim takes you to some of the best reef sites on Utila’s south side. For those not tempted to snorkel our stunning reefs, we offer a shared saltwater pool and seating (exclusive to Paradise Regained guests). An outdoor shower is provided to rinse the salt from your skin before retiring to your private deck or our stunning shared beachfront with a drink in hand, to watch the sun set over the ocean.

Utila, Bay Islands, Honduras

Utila, a small Caribbean island of just 45 square kilometers, is surrounded by shallow reefs, with several beaches featuring golden sands, and clear blue waters. While the island is better known as a holiday destination for scuba divers, its appeal is well suited to those beyond the stereotypical visitor, with a simple and rustic lifestyle that’s both inviting and charming. This is true tropical island living without the pretentiousness you find on some other Caribbean islands.

Take a fast, air-conditioned ferry or light aircraft from Roatan or La Ceiba and in less than an hour, you will be immersed in a culture reminiscent of days of old. Cheap drinks are plentiful, as are the islands' eccentrics. Imagine something out of the Pirates of the Caribbean with tuk-tuks (small Indian taxis), and you won’t be far off.

Prepare to be charmed by this unique little island, pack a bag of adventurous spirit, your mask and snorkel (or use ours) and a desire to experience true island life, Utila style!
Paradise Regained is perfectly positioned on the coast, only 120 feet from some of the best dive/snorkeling sites on Utila’s south side, with the unique opportunity to watch both the sunrise and sunset from our exclusive gazebo.
