Someone will normally be there to welcome you on arrival and show you how things work, and will leave a number for help in case of any problems. Otherwise guests are left to make themselves at home. We usually arrange to collect keys before departure but can organise that with individual guests when you arrive.
Also, for the avoidance of doubt there is a double bed in room 1 and a 4ft double bed in room 2 (so a small double) and if required a single sofa bed in the lounge.
No smoking permitted in flat. Please keep noise to a minimum particularly if coming in late at night, as the stair is shared with 8 other households some with children. Do make yourselves at home but try to leave the flat the way you found it, and notify any damage/breakages right away( accidents can happen!) so that they can be attended to.
Si vous annulez jusqu'à 7 jours avant le voyage, vous recevez un remboursement à hauteur de 50 %. En cas d'annulation au cours des 7 jours précédant le voyage, la réservation est non remboursable.

I have lived all over Scotland ( Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and the Highlands and spent a year in France, and enjoy travel. Favourite trips so far have been to Peru, Cuba, and India and I love the great cities of the world Paris, London, New York and of course Edinburgh and Glasgow.
I speak fluent French and a bit of German and Spanish. I worked for many years in local government in Edinburgh, in economic development, employment training and European partnership projects. I now live in my home area of the Highlands , near Inverness and teach part time in the local further education college. My daughter lives in Edinburgh and my son in Glasgow - so one of us will be around to welcome you during your stay.
