Kit & Rod were very kind when we checked in at around 10 pm. The location is pretty good and closed to subway and restaurants. There unit is in a prewar apartment with high ceiling and the bedroom is spacious and clean. I would recommend them to single or a couple who would like to explore NYC and don't have high budget to spend a night in the city.

Our stay was very pleasant. The hosts (kit and rod) was very friendly and were also very nice conversation partners. The apartment is on the 5th floor, but can be reached comfortably by the elevator. The house is very quiet. In the residential area you can find various shops, supermarkets and large and small restaurants. The subway station is just 5 minutes away and provides easy access to Manhattan.

Kit&Rod 's apartment was the best part of this trip for sure! Both of them are so kindness. The apartment is big and satisfy. Nonetheless, the location is nearby almost everything you need such as multicultural foods, shopping, or transportation to somewhere. I have to say It was the best choice I did for the entire trip. Whenever I find myself an internship in NY, I wish I could find an apartment like Kit&Rod's in the Forest Hills also. That would be sooooo great to me. Ps: highly recommended for Kit's restaurant in Manhattan. Best Thai food I had ever! Best wish for Kit, Rod, and the restaurant!

Kit & Rod were excellent! They hosted my cousin and his wife at their apartment and they were lovely. I met them when I dropped my cousin off. Apartment is beautiful, clean and accesible. They were simply lovely and welcoming. The private bedroom is spacious enough and very pretty. Totally recommendable!

Staying at Kit and Rod's place was great! We only met Kit once briefly since she was working a lot this weekend, but Rod was around more and was a great host: very friendly and communicative, and available by phone, text and in-person. The bedroom is larger than it seemed in the pictures (a real surprise in New York!) and there was tons of space for our luggage, space in the closet, etc. You definitely won't be too cold (the radiator is very warm) but we just opened up the window a crack and it was great. Neighborhood is really quiet so not a problem at all to have the window open. The 75th St. subway stop (E & F lines) is literally 1 block from their apartment so that was super convenient. All amenities listed were available, large fluffy towels, wi-fi worked great, and it was really nice to be able to cook breakfast & keep leftovers in the fridge rather than go out for every meal. Parking was difficult so we found a spot and only moved our car once in five days. If you circle around, you will eventually find something but it is tough. Regardless, we had a great time and would definitely come back and stay in the future!
