COVID Safety - Unlike hotels or apartment building our properties have separate private entrances and individual Heat / AC and ventilation systems. There are no shared spaces like elevators. We use a professional cleaner between each guest. They use enhanced cleaning techniques including additional wipe-down of all touch surfaces using CDC-approved disinfectants. Bed and bath linens are removed and sanitized in high temperature professional laundry.

For new guests we provide CDC-approved personal hand sanitizer.

Millers Court is a charming example of what used to be common in DC - carriage houses set back from the street. Most of these were torn down decades ago. This one dates to the 1880s.

Directly off of East Capitol Street. Less than a block to two corner stores, pharmacy, great diner, dry cleaners.

Blazing fast 1 gig WIFI (and hardwired ethernet). This is the fastest residential service available in DC. By comparison an HD group Zoom call requires 3 mpbs so this is several hundred times faster.

Thank you for considering our property. We are a small local veteran-owned business, and we appreciate your interest in this nightly temporary accommodations booking. This is a Capitol Hill Stay property. We have been providing furnished lodging for over 25 years. We have 25 listings on Capitol Hill, and several in Austin TX. We specialize in longer term monthly lodging, but since Airbnb's entry into the lodging market we now do nightly rentals as well.

We support two extended families (plus cleaners, maids, repair guys, landscapers etc) on this income during very difficult times so we appreciate your consideration very much.

Early movein and late moveout MAY be possible if requested prior to booking. If this requires us rescheduling our maid or service crew there may be a small fee required (usually around $50 – our crews, especially the maids, often charge us more if we shorten or change the time period they can clean). Request made later may not be possible. If you require a full day of vacancy prior to movein please book that extra day. We do not leave property vacant a full day between guests automatically.
Luggage MAY possibly be left early or late if requested before booking.
Pets may be allowed only if requested at booking. Dogs must be nonaggressive and not make noise in a manner that would bother others, and must be up to date on shots. There may be breed and size limitations. There may be an additional charge.
Parking MAY be possible if requested at booking. Please do not assume parking is included automatically. It may be an additional $20 to $30 per day.
No smoking (including marijuana) is allowed in the property or in any indoor common areas.
This property is in an upscale residential area full of hard-working professionals. We expect guests to respect their neighbors. Please be reasonably quiet. No parties or gatherings. Quiet hours after 10 pm and before 7:30 am. Reservation is for the number of people indicated when booking. Additional guests must be requested in advance and there may be a surcharge.
Anything wrong with the property must be noted within one hour of movein by contacting us through Airbnb AND calling 202.866.STAY. Please let us know immediately by phone AND thruAirbnb of any serious matters that require immediate attention, including water leaks, or anything that would impact your stay significantly.
All utilities including internet are provided. We do our utmost to provide these at all times. However we do not provide refunds for utility outages including internet. Internet speeds are not guaranteed as that ultimately is beyond our control. This property has 1gig WIFI service but like all internet providers the provider does not guarantee specific speeds or constant availability.
We may require access to the property for maintenance items or to show the property. Should this be the case we will give reasonable notice (24 hours when possible). However emergency maintenance items may need immediate attention
Failure to follow rules above may result in cancellation of your booking and require immediate moveout, without refund.Failure to depart on the day and time scheduled may result in a $500 per day charge. If said failure results in any upcoming reservation having to be delayed or cancelled you may charged the amount of that reservation. The same penalties may apply if property is damaged to the point that it cannot be made ready for incoming guests as needed

Capitol Hill is an outstanding neighborhood. It's historic, charming, and ideally located at the absolute geographic center of DC. Terrific safety, with the US Capitol police patrolling the area. Home to many politicians, media figures, etc.

Corner groceries, pharmacy, great diner and dry cleaners a two minute walk away.

Eastern Market (farmers market and baker/butcher etc) is a few blocks away. Amazing restaurants and lively bars within blocks!

Whole Foods and several other supermarkets in the neighborhood.
