Stunning, bright first floor apartment in Oxford City centre with allocated free parking.
Based across the River Thames just outside the congestion charge area, a short walk to the city centre, Christ Church, Westgate Shopping Centre, train/bus stations. Restaurants, pubs overlooking Folly Bridge. Excellent location in the heart of Grandpont nature park ideal for walking, cycling, boat excursions, next to Hinksey Park which benefits of a lovely outdoor pool, tennis courts and sports activities.

The place, ideal for business, leisure and family visitors, has been fully furnished to a high standard and with attention to details. Recently refurbished with double glazed windows and delicate wood floor, the apartment consists of elegant king size bedroom (memory foam mattress and pillows) and a comfortable wardrobe which contains soft and luxury towels and slippers, new bathroom (with bath-shower), hairdryer, iron/ironing board, cosy kitchen (with fridge-freezer, washing-drying machine, dishwasher, microwave toaster, kettle). Spacious living room with a double size sofa bed which takes the total number of guests accommodated up to 4, smart-flat-screen TV, WiFi and Netflix. Complimentary tea and Nespresso coffee making facilities. Well equipped minibar with moderate prices.

Here at La casetta d’Àneu, guests can enjoy the entire apartment and the complimentary parking space taking care of the common areas of the building (staircase, entrance, parking space, etc) and its security rules as well respect for neighbours. The main access to the apartment is from 42 Marlborough Rd. The parking of La casetta d’Àneu is located on the back of the building. Guests are invited to pass the archway and occupy the place "letter E".

Grandpont is a residential neighbourhood close to the Christ Church, Westgate Shopping Centre and Oxford city centre (restaurants, shops, theaters, museums, colleges, cinema, etc.) The river Thames is next to the apartment where you can enjoy of nice walks, rides on bike and boat tours. It is 10-minute walk to Hinksey Park from the property, with walking trails, sports and water activities available. Popular pubs are also close where you can enjoy a fresh beer and good food on the river bank.

"Owner & host living locally offering high quality shortlet accommodation". Superhost continuously since last 2016. “La Casetta” in Italian language means little house....Àneu is my daughter's name. She is adorable and I'm a lucky father....now you can understand who’s the real boss! I'm sociable, dynamic and friendly person who loves to travel and spend my time with my family and friends. I'm native Italian, with more then 20 years experience in hospitality hotel travelling around UK, Spain and Italy. My aim is to create beautiful properties and allow guests to relax and feel part of the city. A great deal of thought has gone into every aspect of our properties, the service we deliver and the little added extras. As a host I always imagine what a guest would like and which could be her/his expectations. This is why I love to pay attention to details in order to guarantee the best accommodation in my little places. I have lived in Oxford for the last 7 years and absolutely love the city and everything it has to offer! I have tried and testing most restaurants & bars so I can give advice on where to go, whether you are here for a holiday, celebrating a birthday, working or studying! I give my guests space to enjoy their stay but I am on hand if the need arises. I am happy to book you reservations, trips, excursions etc on your behalf throughout your stay or in advance, just send me a message with your requests. I love to meet my guests in person, listening their history, recommending a great place for dinner or just for a drink. What could be better than a warm welcome? I can’t wait to meet you then.... My Top Tips: - Try to visit in May & June, this is my favourite time of year in Oxford! Be sure to grab a bottle of wine and go for a punt down the river in the sunshine! - Oxford is a small city so I wouldn't advise coming in a Car (but if you do there are plenty of car parks around the city) - Take a wander around the Covered Market in Oxford City Centre, be sure to grab a Ben's Cookie (white chocolate is my favourite, ask if they have any warm ones!) - They claim to make the best Pizzas in Oxford...and guess what...they do! The White Rabbit on Friers Entry, Pilgrims and Franco Manca is the best pizza in town, get their early to grab a seat! - Fancy some beautiful countryside but don't want to pack the wellies? Take a visit to Blenheim Palace estate for a walk round the lakes and gardens - send me a message if you are going and I will let you know the sneaky way to get in the grounds.
