We are absolutely astonished by the review you have left us. Most of all as it is preposterous and simply untruthful.
Apart from your very inappropriate first sentence, commenting on starving students, the apartment you have booked, is a proper one-bedroom apartment, of 65m2.
On Airbnb you have a very detailed and clear description that the apartment has one bedroom with a double bed inside and a living room with a pull out sofa.
You will find more than 15 detailed pictures of the apartment and even a picture of the exact layout.
As it is a one-bedroom apartment and you book it for 4 people, 2 people will sleep in the double bed and 2 on the pull out sofa. Analogous, there will be no sitting area available if you do not pull the sofa back in during the day.
Furthermore I would like to remind you that you have contacted us on your first day of arrival telling us that you made a mistake yourself, thinking that you have booked a 2-bedroom apartment. Unfortunately we didn't have the possibility to offer you any 2-bedroom apartments, as we were fully booked.
You decided to leave the apartment and find something else. Concerning the refund, we offered you to cancel your booking, so we would have the possibility to offer it to someone else, therefore offering you a generous refund covered by new guests.
Although, we did not have any kind of obligations towards you, as clearly you made a wrong booking, we were very generous and showed here good will by trying to refund you as much as possible, which we also did in the end. You have received 75% refund for your booking thanks to us!!!
Concerning your false and untruthful further comments:
We DO NOT charge anything for a luggage storage!! We DO NOT charge for a second towel!!!
There IS very well indeed a tea maker and a coffee machine inside the kitchen-closet.
The reason we have only put sheets on the bed, is because of the heatwave we have had during the week of your stay, so most guests appreciated it, as it was simply too hot for duvets. Nevertheless we have left them in the closet for guests, who still prefer to sleep with them.
All in all we are really shocked and extremely disappointed by your extremely rude, untruthful and made up comments and review.
Especially after putting much efforts in order to help you in your situation, although it was clearly your mistake. We showed good will in order to help you and your preposterous comments feels like a slap in the face.
Thankfully people like you are the vast exception on Airbnb, therefore we do not want to spend any energy with such negativity any longer and concentrate furthermore towards our vast majority of guests who appreciate our work.
