Our beautiful, authentic Log Cabin was built by my grandmother in 1942 to shelter her and my mother during the war. It has recently been lovingly renovated and restored to retain its original character and rustic charm while including modern comforts - such as a split system heating/air con and Italian stove. It features a fabulous wood heater, a beautiful, claw foot bath (extra long and deep) and is located on a bush block walking distance to town.
The Cabin is a unique and authentic historic building in a beautiful bush setting. It is connected but independent from the main house, also listed as Heaven in Healesville. The two may be booked together for up to 10 people. Otherwise, doors between The Cabin and the main house are locked; the Cabin is fully self-contained and completely private from the big house.

I am an Architect and I love travelling, animals, being healthy and beautiful things. Heaven in Healesville is my own design, built on land now in our family for 5 generations, together with The Cabin, originally built by my grandmother in 1942, which I have tastefully and respectfully restored, renovated and extended.
When we are not living a quiet life in our country house, we are often exploring other parts of the world. I have been to nearly 80 countries, many of them several times. Many design ideas for our house were inspired by incredible places visited on these trips.
