The Annex is a beautiful one bedroom flat attached to a grade two listed Regency house close to the town centre and promenade. The sitting room overlooks the south facing garden full of exotic planting with views down to the sea. It has individual access, a kitchen and shower room.
Indisponible : Détecteur de monoxyde de carbone
We will give you a key to your private entrance when you arrive so that you can come and go as you please. On the day you are leaving it would be helpful if you could vacate the flat by 11am (and return the key) but we can, of course, accommodate your bags for the rest of the day – just ask. If you are leaving very early, please let us know.
During Your Stay
The wi-fi code will be given to you on arrival.
If you need to contact us during your stay please come to the side door and ring the bell or if it's a nice day we may be in the garden. If all else fails we will give you a phone number to contact us.
We provide a table and chairs in the yard at the front of the flat and on the garden side as well. If you would like cushions we can provide them. If you would like to explore the garden, please ask – we would love to show you round.
Eating and Drinking
We supply cereals, bread and preserves and tea and coffee for you to make you own breakfast. If you wish to do any cooking during your stay there is an oven and hob and pans (if you need anything else let us know) all we ask is that you leave the kitchen as you find it.
There are many cafes, restaurants and pubs within walking distance and, though we haven't sampled all of them, we can certainly advise you! If you plan to go further afield we can direct you to eating places by the sea or in rural settings.
Exploring West Penwith
We are keen walkers so can advise you about walking the coastal path or about rural footpaths. If you are exploring by car, many of the roads are very narrow and not all the locals drive slowly so take care! You have to pay at most of the car parks and many people find that St Ives is best approached by bus or train. We would be very happy to advise you so please ask.
Most of what you may need can be found in Penzance and there are a number of supermarkets on the outskirts. There are a lot of independent shops in Causeway Head and a mixture of shops in Market Jew Street. Chapel Street has a mixture of shops, restaurants and pubs and the Egyptian House is not to be missed!
No smoking inside or out.
