We are fully committed to ensure your stay will be comfortable an enjoyable. As such we have a manager who lives close by - her numbers are displayed as part of our welcoming information.
When food shopping I suggest you bring food for at least the first night with you. Alternatively stop in Livingston Manor - there's a good Market. Do not shop for food in Roscoe - it sucks. Good for local vodka and beer though. Hancock - 10 miles further on Rt17 is the most convenient for pretty much everything once you're at the house. Hancock also has a pretty decent 9 hole golf course (Robert Trent Jones design) and it is cheap and fun to play - I've got sticks in the garage.
We endeavor to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. To this extent the home will be professionally cleaned before every visit. Please assist our cleaning team by putting dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Kindly take your garbage with you - there is no garbage removal in this area. IMPORTANT - The house has a septic tank - so remember - if you cannot eat it, don't flush it. NO fats or oils from kitchen down the drains please - throw away outside over bank or in garbage. Please no cars or driving on the lawn - could damage septic lines.
Please bring a blanket or throw with you if you would like to hang out on the lawn - bedding should not be removed from the house.
When you bring a dog - bring your own dog blanket and dog towel. Dogs end up in the river - no wet dogs in the house. The jacuzzi is not a dog bath please! No dogs on beds!!!
Since dogs add considerably to our cleaning effort, we charge $50 per dog from 2015.
