Charming "Tiny Home" (Casita) in semi-gated community (security cameras on premises & home is alarmed). Casita is right ON the beach-access is directly beyond the deck gate. Interior is traditional MX colors. You can not get any closer to the beach than this. Casita is within walking distance to the pier & numerous spas, bars & restaurants. Site is a considerate group of people who respect one another, their desire & right to enjoy the peaceful location where they've chosen to live or vacation.

Le logement
This "Tiny House" (not super tiny) is located ON the beach. A 3' deck gate opens DIRECTLY onto the sand. You can absolutely not get any closer to the ocean than you will be at this casita!! This is a wonderful location to come to wiggle your toes in the sand and forget about your typical daily routines, to forget about anyone, or anything, other than yourself and your loved ones. The house is close enough to walk nearly anywhere in town if you so choose to, or to take a beach stroll. Horses rent along the beach (very reasonable cost). The horses and their owners pass by the house every so often. If you want to ride them, simply flag the horse owners over, and they will come right over to pick you up. Taxis and bus services are available for excursions that you may not wish to drive to.

Recently, we redid the majority of our beach deck, and within this past year, we had the shower completely redone.

FYI, the small white convertible table inside the casita does expand, and can make a small dining table for indoor meals, or you can eat outdoors on the table on the deck.

There is a bluetooth speaker in the back bedroom. It is supposed to look like a large white rock (it does change colors according to your preference). It may need to be charged? Feel free to move the speaker around as needed (i.e., to the living room or on to the deck, etc). However, if you take it outside with you, PLEASE be sure you bring the speaker back into the house if you are not going to be out on the deck with it. Thank you.

Accès des voyageurs
This complete "Tiny House," includes a beach front deck and one designated parking space for the rental per night. Additional parking can be arranged with the land owner for a small fee.

You may have a bonfire on the beach legally. Just ensure that you throw sand, or put the fire out completely some other way when you're finished enjoying your evening. The easiest thing I've found is to go purchase a bundle of wood from Smart and Final (which is just north of the house on the main road), or an even easier way to obtain firewood is to purchase it from our property manager, Nora. There should be metal/tin, marshmellow melting sticks in the kitchen.

There are a number of legal fireworks shops that sell fireworks that are illegal in the US. If you choose to set off any fireworks, legally, you must be away from ALL homes, and only light them in the area between the beach-garbage cans, and the ocean (the sand garbage cans are located approximately half way between the homes and the ocean water). You should easily see the garbage cans I am referring to. There is also a fire extinguisher that is attached to the wall above the stove in the kitchen.

There should also be plenty of safe drinking water in the casita upon your arrival. Our property manager/cleaning person refills all large water bottles after renters check out, and when she cleans the house.

BE CERTAIN TO READ THE "HOUSE RULES on this site. And, then, go and have yourselves a fabulous time!

Autres points à prendre en note
If any unforeseen problems that are beyond our control arise due to ACTS OF MOTHER NATURE or MEXICO'S PUBLIC UTILITIES, there will not be any refund issued. Note: We have NEVER had any problems or complaints from any renter regarding this situation, but we are aware that on a rare occasion, Mexico does perform street construction that sometimes does affect water pressure, etc. for short periods of time.

Proof of Citizenship (e.g., passport) is required to reenter the U.S.A.

We furthermore recommend that you stop at one of the 24 hour car insurance facilities located right off of the freeway, starting about 3 exits prior to the actual U.S. and MX border crossing. I have never known anyone to have to use the insurance, but if something were to occur, you want to be fiscally insured. You essentially pay according to the number of days you plan to be in MX, and depending upon what your vehicle is worth according to the U.S.A.'s bluebook. Insurance companies will also need to quickly review your driver's license and your vehicle's U.S. registration prior to providing you with a Mexico Car Insurance Policy, so do not forget these items. You can also purchase the insurance online from various companies. NOTE: Check with your personal U.S. car insurance company before purchasing an additional MX insurance plan. Some U.S. insurance companies will cover your car in MX if you are only going a certain number of miles out of the U.S.A.

Be sure to visit the United States Department of State to obtain up-to-date travel warnings, alerts and to obtain any additional and/or important information.

Location. Location. Location!! You have a panaramic (180 degree) view of the beach and ocean from the living room's sliding door, and from the deck also. The sound of the waves are phenomenal.

This tiny house/casita is within a small semi-gated park. The site does not have physical security 'guards,' present, however the property owners of this semi-gated community have multiple security cameras throughout the park, and additionally we have our casita alarmed. However, this is a wonderful and small community. Our onsite property manager, and the other park residents keep a keen eye on all of the casitas. PLEASE BE CERTAIN TO ALWAYS CLOSE AND LOCK THE MAIN GATE BEHIND YOU...I AM REFERRING TO THE GATE THAT YOU DRIVE INTO WHEN ENTERING THE PARK (it is the only gate to the park-except in the case of an emergency there is a secondary gate... I mention this issue about the "gated community" because a previous renter, a few years back. She expected the park to have actual security guards at the main gate. There is a lock on the rolling gate that you will enter through, but there are not actual physical people at a booth, as we are accustomed to in the USA. We will certainly provide you this gate code prior to your arrival.

All of the full time residents, and the owners of the property (who also live on site in the large house located near the street), keep a very keen eye on all of the casitas. They do recogize when something is out of the ordinary (and do not hesitate to report anything to the appropriate law enforcement agencies when necessary), or if blatant illegal activities are seen taking place on the beach.

On a more exciting note, many whales are often seen migrating in the months of April and May. Dolphins and Seals can intermittently be seen during any month of the year. Keep your eyes open. :)

There are various children's books, magazines, various board games and other family type games, such as UNO, etc. located in the cupboards above the window facing the sand. Feel free to play or use anything you may find up there. Simply return everything as you found it. We would appreciate it.

Dial #78 for Visitors Info, or visit the Visitors Booth near the Rosarita Beach Hotel on the West side of the main street Downtown.

Dial #74 if help is required while you're driving on the "Toll Road" (A.K.A.: "Scenic Road") should you have any car difficulties.

We are not physically on site, but we are only a text away should you require something during your stay. Additionally, we have a primary bilingual family (our property manager and house cleaner) that resides onsite. They are happy to help you, should you require anything, or have additional questions upon your arrival or during your stay. There are many friendly neighbors who originate from various countries (mostly the U.S. and England). Many residents are bilingual (Spanish/English), and are quite willing to provide suggestions, upon request, regarding restaurants and/or various types of local activities.
