The cottage has been recently refurbished and offers accommodation in a lovely village that provides easy access to either Ulverston ( 3 miles ) or Barrow ( 5 miles ). Across the road a few hundred yards is the 'Railway Inn' that does serve really good food and real ales. Parking is on street adjacent, but the village is very safe, for example the ex-telephone box is a book exchange. Travel time to BAE is 15 - 20 mins.
Long term rentals are discounted to £245 pw see selfcateringbarrow
The cottage has for your use:
A well equiped kitchen.
Washing machine, tumble drier
Iron, ironing board, hair driers etc
A really good amp, C.D, and amazing speakers
WI-Fi (Last time I checked - Wi-Fi speed is 4.9mb/s down and 0.969 mb/s up).
There is also a 'put you up' folding futon chair bed and a z bed.
Small outside seating area
Park your car anywhere locally, by the village green or across the road, it's fine and it'll be there tomorrow.

The cottage is adjacent to a road, there is some traffic noise, at the front of the house but is quieter in the evening, and not really noticeable in the lounge.
I live in the Lake District with Yvette.
The cottage has been self catering for contractors for a few years, some stay for many months and seem to enjoy the convenience and being out of town and their own space.
We also have a holiday cottage at Silloth, Cumbria - Spindrift.
I work close enough by to sort any snags quickly.
