A perfect rural retreat for me and my seven year old boy. He loves camping and campfires, but to be honest doesn't much like helping put up or take down the tent. And I don't enjoy doing it on my own either. This worked perfectly for us. A ready made tent, (okay a wigwam, which is bigger and better) with real beds and lots of headroom! Wigwams, (or are they 'teepees' these days? I dunno) are cool in the daytime and don't get as cold as a conventional tent at night either.
The host, Sharon, is lovely and was very welcoming. The coffee and croissants in the mornings was a boon too!
All in all a good place to go if you want to escape modern life for a few days, yet can't be doing with all the tedious bits of camping like tent construction and inflatable beds. Even the chickens that shared the field were civilised, and didn't squawk or crow...:)
Of course, it is deepest, darkest Norfolk so don't expect 4G or wifi around every corner. That said, I did occasionally get a signal even in the wigwam. Not strong enough to stream Netflix though. Thank goodness!
