It is minutes from Hearst Castle, downtown shopping, the beach, hiking and everything else Cambria Village and surrounding areas offer, including wine tasting, galleries and fine dinning. This detached upstairs suite has it all: a private entrance, panoramic views, gorgeous sunsets, abundant wildlife, out-door Jacuzzi, in-room coffee/tea maker, mini-refrigerator, wi-fi and served continental breakfast.
Guests just love the privacy and surrounding beauty of our lovely, detached. studio guest apartment that borders on a forest preserve that stretches to the Pacific Ocean.
The bright, airy, sparkling clean, spacious suite is upstairs over the garage with very nice panoramic views of the surrounding forest and the ocean (several guests have mentioned the views are actually much better then the pictures). Very quite and comfortable it is a wonderful place to retreat from the everyday world. Entrance to a forested preserve with light hiking trails, is a five-minute walk from your door. From there you can hike to the ocean and wander along more 1.5 miles of unspoiled ocean-front beauty.
Birds, deer and other wildlife abound right outside your windows, throughout the property and the entire neighborhood. The corner table / work space surrounded by windows is perfect for that morning cup of coffee, using your laptop or writing in your journal while gazing out to the forest and ocean beyond or star gazing at night. Enjoy a relaxing Jacuzzi under a perfect starry sky. Take in the breathtaking sunsets with a glass of wine from the Jacuzzi or your sitting room. Enjoy a picnic lunch and watch the wildlife from our sunny Jacuzzi deck or in the forested (fenced in) backyard. There is new carpet, fresh cotton linens, extra towels, uncluttered space, a Tempur-pedic bed and a served continental breakfast.
We highly recommend taking note of the driving directions in the "Location" section of our listing for the best way to get here once you leave the highway. There are paved and unpaved roads in the neighborhood so please follow the written directions if you want to avoid unpaved roads. Also, we recommend arriving during daylight if possible as there is very little street lighting (but lots of starry night sky) in our neighborhood.

My wife and I are sort of homebodies. Although we do love hiking and hanging out by the ocean, we enjoy our home and it's location so much that we are basically a stay-cation couple. Lori is a registered nurse and a fitness instructor. I own my own business and often work out of our home. We are both avid readers and seriously enjoy the wildlife that surrounds our home. (Pictured here are my wife and our grandchildren.)
Our rental suit is above the garage and has a private entrance with very nice ocean and forest views as well as breath-taking sunsets. It is very private, sparkling clean and quiet! Wildlife abound as a natural forest preserve -- with hiking/jogging trails -- runs behind the property. From there you can hike to the beach and the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve (which protects 1.5 miles of unspoiled Pacific Ocean front. There is also access to an outdoor Jacuzzi on our gazebo-covered deck. One of our favorite things is to sit in the Jacuzzi at night with the jets off and just watch the moon through the trees and listen to the sounds of the forest and the ocean. (Please take a moment to look at our reviews.)
We want our guests to have the best Cambria Village and coast get-away experience possible and will strive to make that happen. We believe in peace, goodwill and serenity.
