There is no internet or cable. One tv is available in the master bedroom, but you will have to supply DVDs. This property is my escape from technology. As noted above, hard water, sometimes smelly.
This home is generally safe, however vigilance with children is essential. I indicate that it is not child safe for listing purposes, but my kids are there all the time. The river is easily accessible. There are tools for splitting wood. The fireplace gets very hot. The outlets and cabinets are not covered or locked. This is a hunting and fishing location, so there will be items associated with those activities around. There are knives, axes, and ammunition boxes that are both functional and decorative.
It is on well water, and can have a sulphur smell. Bottled water provided.

If you are staying during the week, I can check in over my lunch hour to ensure your stay is going smoothly. I will check in at least once in person to make sure everything is ok.

I am the kind of host that will essentially leave you alone. I will occasionally stop out over my lunch hour, because I love sitting on the deck watching the river as I eat, which is my normal routine when not renting.
