What a wonderful place this is! We loved how secluded it is, and could not stop gazing at surrounding landscape. Even though we could have easily spent our entire stay there, roaming the grounds or playing games out back, it was really cool exploring the surrounding area! We visited the Shambala Center, which was stunning and the small town of Red Feather Lake. There’s a little holistic and organic store in that town owned by a sweet lady named Helen that’s worth checking out! Communicating with Amy was a breeze. She and her husband were extremely kind and great to chat with. They made us feel right at home! Can’t wait to go back!

This was our third trip this year to Lars & Amy's cabin. It is the perfect family getaway screen free and unplugged. Amy even made a new sandbox area with diggers and trucks for my boys. My boys spend hours hiking around the grounds, fishing in the creek, searching for animals. It's truly amazing how children can entertain themselves for hours in nature. It feels like a home away from home, and we are so grateful that Amy makes her slice of heaven available to the public via AirBNB.

What a spectacular place to stay. Views are wonderful, keep an eye out for wildlife. Great place to connect with family and God. Even if you are not a hiker it is a great place to relax. Cabin is very cozy, and wonderfully cared for. Amy provides everything needed for cooking, and personal items. All the extras she provides was a great surprise. Would love to come back sometime. Lars and Amy are the best hosts, they care about you and love to hear about you. We also loved hearing about their life in CO. So different then the Denver area. Can not recommend staying here highly enough.

I am so glad we found Sparrowhawk Cabin! It was the perfect relaxing getaway for our family. The boys loved hiking the hills, climbing the rocks, and playing in the creek. The cabin is cozy and well stocked with everything you need to cook and stay entertained. Book, boardgames, puzzles, outdoor games.....they've really thought of everything. The beds were very comfortable.....even more than our own. I could go on and on about how nice everything was. Nothing negative to say at all! Lars and Amy are exceptional hosts! There's no doubt well be returning to the cabin!
